PREDICITON: HILLARY WILL CHALLENGE OBAMA FOR THE NOMINATION AND WIN

AND THEN LOSE TO...

SERIOUSLY: SHE WILL SUCCEED AGAINST OBAMA WHERE TEDDY FAILED AGAINST CARTER.

HERE'S HOW I PREDICT IT WILL PLAY OUT:
  • HILLARY WILL RESIGN IN DECEMBER 2010 - "TO GIVE OBAMA CHANCE TO REORGANIZE HIS CABINET" AFTER THE GOP BLOWOUT THIS NOVEMBER.
  • SHE WILL IMMEDIATELY START A PAC - HILLPAC, "TO SUPPORT DEMOCRATIC ISSUES AND CANDIDATES"; HEH.
  • SHE WILL ANNOUNCE HER CHALLENGE JUST BEFORE THE LABOR DAY WEEKEND IN 2011 - WHICH GIVES HER ABOUT 4 MONTHS TO ACTIVELY CAMPAIGN IN IOWA AND NEW HAMPSHIRE, NEVADA AND FLORIDA.
  • SHE WILL SWEEP.
  • AT THAT POINT, OBAMA WILL ANNOUNCE HE WON'T SEEK RE-ELECTION - LIKE LBJ.
  • UNLIKE LBJ, OBAMA WILL BLAME OTHERS. MICHELLE WILL "BLAME A MEAN-SPIRITED AND RACIST AMERICA."
  • LEFTIST HOWARD DEAN WILL ENTER ALONG WITH A FEW OTHERS.
  • HILLARY WILL WIN THE NOMINATION.
  • SHE WILL PICK BILL NELSON OR JIM WEBB AS HER RUINNING MATE.
  • AND THEY WILL LOSE TO THE GOP NOMINEES.

Willie (blessed with such a mind) will be nailing a few staffers, during the nomination, is my only addition.

Media approves.

I don't think Hillary will run ... the Country is finished with the Bushes and the Clintons and the Radical Left.

She would just dredge up more of the same faces that we have all grown to detest.

nooooo. If the DNC gets Hillary then we lose the PUMAs and all the alienated sane Dems who would push for a good GOP candidate like Palin.

Jim Webb?

Yikes!

He'd pull in a lot of veterans' votes.

In 2012, the GOP is likely to nominate someone like McCain or Palin, who will promote a variation of the same failed tax/spend/inflate policies as Bush and Obama. In protest, Americans will either not vote at all, or vote for a dark horse candidate.

teri - the bush tax policies were good.

deficits were coming down each year from 2003-7.

they would have continued except for the housing bubble collapse.

the bubble was created by the government - not "wall street greed".

fannie mae and freddie mac and their liberal policies which essentially forced banks to make bad loans is what caused the bubble.

fannie mae and freddie mac are for all intents and purposes govt guaranteed debt issuers and wall street bought the debt the repackaged in good faith.

if you want to be honest then you should blame socialism and not the gop.

and you should admit that for his big spending on medicare and housing, bush was a classical liberal.
