DISGUSTING: FIRST SEA LORD AND CHIEF ADMIRAL OF THE ONCE GREAT BRITISH NAVY CONCEDES VICTORY TO SOMALI PIRATES

IT'S PATHETIC HOW FAR THE BRITS HAVE FALLEN:

Efforts by foreign navies to combat Somali piracy off the Horn of Africa country's coast have made a difference but they will not be able to eradicate attacks by seaborne gangs, Britain's navy chief said on Friday.

Somali pirates have stepped up attacks in recent months, making millions of dollars in ransom by hijacking ships in the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Aden, which links Europe to Asia.

Admiral Mark Stanhope said navies were dealing with 2.85 million square kilometres of water to monitor.

'We are not going to eradicate piracy - it's still a very very large area,' he told Reuters in an interview.

CONCEDING ANYTHING TO THESE LATTER DAY BARBARY PIRATES IS NOT ONLY DISGUSTING - IT'S A HUGE MISTAKE, AND A WORSE ERROR TO BROADCAST IT.

THIS STANHOPE SHOULD BE FIRED - BUT ONLY AFTER HE'S KEEL-HAULED.

IT'S DISGUSTING, BUT TOTALLY IN KEEPING WITH THE DHIMMITUDE WHICH DOMINATES BRITISH LIFE TODAY.

I URGE - NO, I BEG THE BRITISH PEOPLE TO REBEL AGAINST THEIR POLITICIANS AND PROTECT BRITAIN BY DIRECT ACTION.

UPDATE: PUNDITARIAN ADDS:
... this is truly pathetic. In the 18th & 19th centuries, the British Navy acted to eliminate piracy from the entire world, all of the oceans, and stop the slave trade, too.

The fact is that these pirates operate in a very small area of ocean, and their home ports are even a smaller area.

Their home ports are known, what is lacking is simply the will to take the fight back to them and eliminate their havens.

Eradicating Somali piracy would take the British & American navies about 48 hours, if they really wanted to do it.
UPDATE: THE BRITISH NAVY IS NEAR COLLAPSE DUE TO LEFT-WING/LABOUR CUTS.
