... analysts said the updated Senate bill would spend [AN ADDITIONAL] $871 billion over the next decade to extend coverage to the uninsured by dramatically expanding Medicaid and by offering federal subsidies to those who lack affordable coverage through employers.IS THIS A MORAL THING TO DO!?!?
Those costs would be more than covered by nearly $400 billion in new taxes over the next decade and by nearly $500 billion in spending reductions, primarily cuts to Medicare, the federal health program for people 65 and older
THAT'S HOW THE DEMS PRESENT IT, BUT I THINK IT'S HIGHLY IMMORAL TO TAKE AWAY FROM OUR SENIORS --- WHO'VE BEEN PAYING INTO THE SYSTEM FOR 40 YEARS --- IN ORDER TO GIVE TO OTHERS.
- IT'S A PONZI SCHEME.
- A HOUSE OF CARDS.
- OR WELFARE.
- OR JUST PLAIN OLD THEFT.
- IT'S IMMORAL.
- AN IMMORAL SHELL GAME. IT'S REDISTRIBUTIONISM AND IT SUCKS.
- BESIDES, IT'S BAD FOR THE ECONOMY FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO TAKE ANOTHER $400 BILLION OUT OF THE ECONOMY BY TAXATION.
AND IT WON'T COST THE TAXPAYERS A DIME OR TAKE MORE THAN 50 PAGES OF LEGISLATION TO DO IT.
AND WE'D SAVE ENOUGH ON THAT AND ELIMINATING THE $60 BILLION PER YEAR MEDICARE/CAID FRAUD - (SIMPLY BY SLOWING DOWN THE PAYOUT RATE ALLOWING FOR MORE CAREFUL CHECKING,) - TO COVER ALL THE PEOPLE WHO NOW FALL THROUGH THE CRACKS.
