HOW TO DEFEAT THE TALIBAN AND AL QAEDA AND SAVE AFGHANISTAN AND PAKISTAN

We don't have to surge in another 40,000 or 60,000 or 100,000 troops into Afghanistan to defeat the Taliban and al Qaeda.

All we have to bomb the crap out of the FATA regions of Pakistan.

Bomb them until there's not a single habitable hut or cave.

We can do this over several weeks and months with a lot of conventional bombs of various sizes - or over 24hrs with several nukes.

REALLY.

Let's be done with this crap once and for all.

This is a better plan than retreating or lingering on for what could easily become another 8 years of deadly and risky stalemate.

The longer we wait the less stable become both Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Using 2 nukes on Japan stopped WW2 and saved 20 million lives - most of them Japanese.

Using several now in the FATA regions will be just as pacifying.

If Bush hadn't of been a wimp, then he would have done this in October of 2001 - and we wouldn't have had to fight any of the anti-islamist wars anywhere - not in the Horn of Africa or Iraq or Iran or Thailand or the Philippines.

We could have nuked al Qaeda then and announced our willingness to do it again against ANY nation aiding or abetting or harboring al Qaeda anytime we were attacked.

By scaring the crap out of all the nations appeasing al Qaedas - like Iran and Iraq and Pakistan and even Saudi Arabia - it would have restored deterrence.
