Pasto ran this post yesterday about the WWF's 9/11/tsunami ad, in which the WWF said that a third-party ad agency had just up and released the ad without WWF's approval. This hardly seems feasible now that a video by the same agency has surfaced which is basically just the print ad with scary sound effects and a lot more CGI. Apparently, this video has some pretty pricey production values. This was not a mistake. They spent absurd sums of money on this after focus-grouping it at length, and somehow came to the conclusion that it would go over well.
Watch the video and decide if this could have been an accident.
