It is not without a touch of sadness that I note the passing of Mary Travers of Peter Paul and Mary. I grew up hearing their music on numerous occasions at all sorts of fundraisers for left-wing causes and I recall being fascinated by Mary's stature and blonde mane. The political positions espoused by the idealistic factions in the 1960's are a post 9/11 anachronism and Travers passing should impress upon us all that the times have changed. You may enjoy this song performed by Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicholas Cage and Ben Stiller.
