President Barack Obama took on both the defense establishment and freespending lawmakers on Monday, saying they were draining the nation's military budget with ''exotic projects.''''If Congress sends me a defense bill loaded with a bunch of pork, I will veto it,'' he declared in a speech to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.IF THE PORK IS IN THE STIMULUS PACKAGE, THEN IT'S OKAY WITH OBAMA - ONE TRILLION DOLLARS OF IT. ALL OF IT UNNECESSARY.
BUT ANY IN THE DOD BUDGET, AND HE PROMISES A VETO.
HE'S TELLING US WHAT HE THINKS IS VITAL AND WHAT HE HATES.
