The success of Apollo 11 not only demonstrated that the American system could outperform the Soviet - it in fact marked the defeat of the Soviets in the Cold War - although that fact only became undeniably apparent to the masses in 1989.
Similarly, the attacks of 9/11-2001 are not just a important historic event - they could mark the end of the modern democratic era - especially if Obama succeeds in gutting the United States of America; Europe becomes enslaved by the STATISTS in Brussels, and China emerges as the dominant player on the global scene.
Let us not forget that most people in the world have never tasted true freedom and often accept serfdom to a King, a Dictator, a Religion, or a State.
We are living in a World that is waging WWIV - albeit at a very low intensity - and yet most people will not even admit that the presence of inter-continental combat forces constitutes World War.
9/11 could mark the beginning of an era of great promise for people all over the world - but few are willing to make the sacrifice necessary to defeat Evil.
Instead we are supposed to worry about CO2 and interbank lending rates???
