The New Duranty Times reports on President Obama's intentions for his historic obeisance to the Muslim Ummah:
As President Obama prepared to leave Washington to fly to the Middle East, he conducted several television and radio interviews at the White House to frame the goals for a five-day trip, including the highly-anticipated speech Thursday at Cairo University in Egypt.In an interview with Laura Haim on Canal Plus, a French television station, Mr. Obama noted that the United States also could be considered as “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.” He sought to downplay the expectations of the speech, but he said he hoped the address would raise awareness about Muslims. [Emphases added.]
He's tired of being President already . . . now he wants to be "Caliph." And you have to love his modesty:
“Now, I think it’s very important to understand that one speech is not going to solve all the problems in the Middle East,” Mr. Obama said. “And so I think expectations should be somewhat modest.”
Yeah. Maybe he thinks it would take two speeches . . .

WE RIGHT-WINGERS HAVE BEEN ADMONISHED BY OBAMA FOR POINTING OUT THAT EVEN IF HE IS A GREAT RHETORICIAN AND ORATOR (WITH A TELEPROMPTER) HE HAS NO REAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS. WE WERE TOLD THAT WORDS MATTER.
SO LET'S TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT OBAMA'S WORDS:
HE SAID: “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.”
HE DOD NOT SAY: A COUNTRY WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST MUSLIM POPULATIONS.
HE SAID: “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.” AND THUS DESCRIBED OUR ENTIRE NATION AS A "MUSLIM COUNTRY".
THIS WAS A FREUDIAN SLIP EVERY BIT AS REVEALING AS ONE HE MADE ON THE CAMPAIGN:
WE ARE NOT PUTTING WORDS IN OBAMA'S MOUTH; THEY ARE HIS WORDS.
THESE VERBAL SLIPS REVEAL THE TRUTH ABOUT HIM; WE MERELY POINT IT OUT.
