Urge Your Senators -- Support Amendment #1147 for Iran Sanctions.
This week, the United States Senate is debating a bill to fund "emergency" needs, principally the ongoing military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, for the remainder of the fiscal year that ends on September 30.
Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl (R-AZ) has proposed a critical amendment to ensure that no funds from the federal Strategic Petroleum Reserve can go to companies that help the Islamic Republic of Iran import or export energy or energy-related goods or materials.
The Senate is expected to vote on the Kyl amendment tomorrow.

Contact both of your U.S. Senators and demand that they support the Kyl amendment, #1147.
