CAIRO — With every image of the dead in Gaza inflaming people across the Arab world, Egyptian and Jordanian officials are worried that they see a fundamental tenet of the Middle East peace process slipping away: the so-called two-state solution, an independent Palestinian state coexisting with Israel.

Finally someone is giving the other of the story. The peace plan was dead on arrival anyway. Israel never intended to negotiate but pretended to. Bush and Olmert chose Abbas as their puppet and now palestinians are beginning to see it.
Hamas never NEVER said that they will not recognize Israel. That is the Jewish and American propaganda. They said that they will recognize Israel once their stolen land is returned to them. Even the wall to protected the Jews is built 5 miles inside Palestinian land by 200 miles long. Worse, in some cases the the wall passes between a farmer's house and farming land preventing the farmer from croping. You see these things only in the MiddleEast. Jews, stop your dirty propaganda, be honest with your neighbour, stop corruption, and peace will come. Negotiate in good faith - you might be surprised what good things will come out.

Look at any political map of the 1800s and then again in the 1900s.
Israel was content with its borders until its Muslim neighbors attacked 40 years ago and continued attacking to this day. After that, borders change. To the losers goes the shaft.
If that is viewed as unfair, then maybe starting a conflict is also unfair... and quite stupid.
