A*S*OLE CHARLES JOHNSON OF LITTLE GREEN FOOTBALLS EQUATES RICK WARREN TO ISLAMOFASCISTS

LGF HAS BECOME A GARBAGE SITE, AND CRAP LIKE THIS IS WHY:

Fresh from being tapped to deliver the invocation at President-elect Barack Obama’s inauguration, Orange County Pastor Rick Warren spoke Saturday night to about 800 members of the Muslim Public Affairs Council at its convention in Long Beach.

Warren’s theme was about people getting along, forgetting their differences and focusing on areas of agreement. The audience cheered him, and many people rose to their feet. Among the first to stand was singer Melissa Etheridge, a lesbian, who performed for the audience.

... Warren, like many Muslims, opposes abortion and same-sex marriage.

[CHARLES:] Although the article doesn’t mention it, Warren has another thing in common with fundamentalist Muslims: a belief in young earth creationism.

ACCORDING TO ASSHOLES LIKE CHARLES JOHNSON, IF YOU'RE NOT AN ATHEIST, THEN YOU'RE SOME KIND OF FREAK.
  • WHATTAJERK.
  • I BETCHYA CHARLES JOHNSON BELIEVES IN STRING THEORY AND THE BIG BANG - (TWO OUTMODED COSMOLOGICAL THEORIES IN SCIENCE) - EVEN THOUGH HE CAN'T EXPLAIN THEM AND ACCEPTS THEM ONLY ON FAITH.
  • I DON'T HAVE TO AGREE WITH EVERY VIEW OF PEOPLE I CONSIDER ALLIES ON THE MAJOR ISSUES, BUT ASSHOLE CHARLES SEEMS TO LOVE TO ALIENATE ANYONE WHO DIFFERS WITH HIM - ON CREATION/EVOLUTION, ON GAY MARRIAGE, ON ABORTION FOR EXAMPLE.
  • WHATTAJERK.
  • AND WHAT A BORING BLOG.
CHARLES: YOU ARE A BORING JERK.

I love string theory, but as I understand it, it is being discredited more everyday. Is that not right?

I have to admit, all this athiest stuff is just bull. You're right to call LGF out for it. Warren's not too bright, anyway, no matter the religious angle. He's caving to Obama, IMHO.

Have a Merry Christmas and a safe and productive New Year.

BTW: i don't like everything warren does, but on many issues he's okay.

What I don't get is why Atheists think that evolution is some sort of disproof of God? God set up the universe according to physical laws. Laws that allow us to understand how the universe works, once understood can explain what HAS happened and what WILL happen.. So why would God suddenly drop the ball on Humans and make it MAGIC? An all powerful, all Knowing God would create a system whereby humans could result as a byproduct of its processes. This doesn't disprove god one bit! I always think it is funny that atheists are willing to believe in multiple dimensions, rifts in space and time, aliens seeding the earth, but they can't believe that a God could exist?! Evolution has its own set of problems, no evidence of inter species evolution in the fossil record, irreducibly complex organisms, and not to mention that whole ORIGIN of species thing (and what was BEFORE the big bang anyway??) But, attacking religion based on their beliefs in how we all got here is pretty weak ground to go after.

well said arbiter.

like i said: lotsa folks who think they're rational believe in the big bang - but can't explain it; therefore their belief is purely an act of... FAITH. yet they accuse believers of being credulous morons cuz we believe in God as an act of FAITH.

Finding similarities between cultural beliefs is far from equating them. The commentary simply intended to call Warren out on his literal biblical interpretations and Young Earth Creationist beliefs.

...and surely, there is room between atheism and a six-day span of creation? ...probably where most of our beliefs reside??

Reliapundit: I like Warren a lot, actually. I'm basically kind of pissed he'd be so close to Obama. This gay rights issue's really a Trojan Horse for the radical left's agenda. I don't care if people are homosexual. I don't like it though when they try to change all of society's institutions to fit their extreme minority lifestyle. Obama's into it, and it's one more reason I oppose him, the whole package.

Carry on and keep up the good work. Enjoy the family times...
