YAWN; PINKO LUSH HITCHENS HAS ENDORSED FELLOW TRAVELLER OBAMA

Hitch the hawk has endorsed Obama the dove.

WEIRD: nope.

Here's why:

YES: Hitch has been okay on the war.

But not good on Gitmo or FISA and the NSA. Or Israelis-Arab relations.

And he was clued in on the war because he was solidly anti-Saddam; he was solidly anti-Saddam because he was clued into Saddam's anti-Kurd atrocities. Hitch loves the Kurds because they are SOCIALISTS.

Besides being a socialist, Hitch is also a self-hating Jew, an anti-Zionist-pro-"Palestinian" nut-job.

It would have been better had he endorsed McCain, but because of all his other positions I am THEREFORE not surprised he has endorsed Obama.

The LAUGHABLE part of Hitch's endorsement is that he TRIES to argue that McCain doesn't have the character to be POTUS.

THIS IS ABSURD - ESPECIALLY WHEN MCCAIN IS COMPARED TO OBAMA!

McCain has got tons of character: he is known as the Maverick of the Senate because he is ALWAYS taking on the GOP. He survived 5.5 years of the Hanoi Hilton. He has the character to reach across party lines time-and-time again. And he never worshiped in a racist hateful church.

Obama has NEVER demonstrated ANYTHING close to this kind of character.

If McCain's and Obama's positions were IDENTICAL, one should vote for McCain on the character issue ALONE.

All Hitch has proven is that he is a leftie first.

UPDATE: One of the sickening aspects of this endorsement is the fact that Hitch was spurned and cursed by the left for supporting the Iraq War -- DESPITE the fact that he agreed with them about most other issues.

At the same time, he was EMBRACED by the right, despite many policy differences. (Proving that the right is more pluralistic and tolertant than the left.)

I think he should've been more appreciative about this. But he ran back into the arms of his stalinist pals.
