The final price of this car has not been publicized. Most analysts believe it will be within the 40-50 thousand dollar range. That is an expensive for a small car. The federal government will probably okay rebates for purchasers. I've heard $7,500 per car. This is a costly boondoggle. Ordinary working people will not be able to afford this car, even with the rebate.
