The one thing that I want to insist on is that, as I travel around the country, the American people are a decent people.

Now they get confused sometimes.

You know, they listen to the wrong talk radio shows or watch the wrong TV networks, um, but they’re, they’re basically decent, they’re basically sound.

Guns - most of us would like to keep our right to have one.

War - most of us like to win them.

Energy - most of us would like to by domestic.

Taxes - most of us want to pay less.

Healthcare - most of us want to earn enough to buy a good PRIVATE plan of our own.

Classless society - most of us don't want to get ahead at someone else's expense; we want to earn it.

Classless Society - most of us shop at Wal-Mart not Barney's.

Classless Society - most of us aren't as impressed with college degrees as we are with REAL accomplishments that take REAL sacrifice -- like building a own business a home or being a veteran.

Lawyers & Politicians and Smooth-talkers - most of us don't like 'em and don't trust 'em.

Patriotism - most of us don't give a hoot who Europe or the UN likes or what they want. Don't even ask us about Iran!

MAYBE OBAMA-BIDEN COULD CARRY EUROPE, THE UN AND COLLEGE CAMPUSES, BUT IN THE US OF A: THEY ARE AT AN DISTINCT DISADVANTAGE: WE AMERICANS WANT TO ELECT A HERO OF OUR OWN.
