A panel of pollsters and pundits at Monday’s National Jewish Democratic Council “Jewish Vote Seminar” agreed that Barack Obama is underperforming among Jewish voters compared to recent historical standards — just 61-62 percent in recent polls of Jewish voters, in contrast to the 75 percent and above that Democrats have won among Jews in the last four presidential elections.THE IS GOOD NEWS:
But while most commentary in recent months has attributed the difference to a variety of factors involving Obama — from not being well known enough in the Jewish community to e-mails spreading false rumors about his religious background — two members of the panel had a different explanation: Jews just like John McCain more than most other Republicans.
- THE FACT THAT JEWS WON'T VOTE FOR OBAMA IN AS GREAT A PERCENTAGE AS THEY HAVE FOR PREVIOUS NOMINEES IS GOOD NEWS.
- IT WON'T CHANGE THE OUTCOME OF ANY STATE, BUT IT AT LEAST SHOWS THAT JEWS ARE WAKING UP:
- THE NEW DEMOCRAT PARTY IS NOT AS GOOD FOR JEWS OR ISRAEL AS THE OLD DEMOCRAT PARTY.

It may matter in a few states. Like NJ where Obama is ahead of McCain by 6 points. If it gets closer, this could be the difference. Of course if NJ is very close that means McCain has won nation-wide.
ZACKLEE.
BUT LONG TERM ITS A GREAT TREND.
I'm sure he is losing their support, after what they saw of his reaction of the conflict in Georgia a few weeks ago.
Isreal has been highly accussed of being the 'agressor' with Palenstine people, so if Iran or some other country attacks Isreal land, What would Obama say to the Isreali people - maybe he'd say for them to negotiate or stand down to lessen to conflict. And would Obama commit American forces to protect Isreal, these are questions that the Isreali Americans have to be asking themselves and worrying about the families in Isreal.
IF ELECTED OBAMA AND REID AND PELOSI WILL DO TO ISRAEL WHAT THE DEMS DID TO THE SOUTH VIETNAMESE GOVERNMENT IN 1975. AND THE CONTRAS AFTER THAT.
AND WHAT THEY WOULD'VE DONE TO IRAQ.
