The electorate will realize that this mess was the fault of the Democrats of Congress.
The GOP base will respect the fact that the GOP Representatives in the House held out for PRINCIPLES - not gimmes or earmarks - BUT PRINCIPLES.
And - I predict - the electorate will appreciate that JOHN MCCAIN will have in large measure brokered any final BI-PARTISAN deal. A deal that Obama could NOT have brokered. And that NO ONE ELSE COULD HAVE BROKERED.
This will cement McCain status as the man who is ready to lead.
And he will pick up substantial support as a result.
As will the GOP in Congress.

I agree, it shows that Mac is presidential.
BTW, where were these liberal msm types while Barry had accepted to debate Mac throughout the summer in townhall format and then backed out??????
Oh yeah, McCain is "scared" of debating him regarding foreign policy, LOL...that sagacious visionary, B. Hussein Obama, whose only claim to fame is being wrong on Iraq, never chairing his subcomittee on Afghanistan, dying to sit down with Castro, Chavez, Ahmedenijad, UBL, Mullah Omar, etc.
