It means "fear of competition".
It's what leftists suffer from.
They fear competition.
It's why they want enforced outcomes and don't trust the free market.
They want daddy/mommy/nanny/big brother to determine outcomes... "for the common good" of course.
It's why they would rather have regulations - such as CAFE standards for fleets (if not nations!), than letting people buy the car with the MPG they want and can afford.
It's why they want quotas/"affirmative action" and price controls, and protectionism and tariffs and so on.
Perhaps all we need to do to defeat leftism is to get leftists into phobia therapy!

The real truth is "unsayable."
The Democratic Party has sold out to Communism of the Stalin, Marx, Mao breed.
They know who Obama is, AND they don't care.

In the US people like Soros and Buffet and Bloomberg who are capitalists(with their own money) but Communists (with other people's money).
The only reason "Swiftboat" serial foot-in-the-mouth "traitor" Kerry gets to be on TV is the need/desire for Teresa's money.
Meanwhile Obambi is lying and pretending out of one side of his mouth and proud of his Commie, Islamic, anti-semitic self out of the other.
He will never directly admit what he believes in. But he always betrays himself by whom he hires to give him advice, and by the language he chooses to use. In reality he is proud of his beliefs and that will be his downfall. His efforts to hide it from the voting public will fail.
