It's nice to see King take a Stand against his own country's military. This walking Bag of Bones is a true Creepshow and his diatribe hints at Desperation. I don't want to sound like an ad, a public service ad on TV, but the fact is if you can read, you can walk into a job later on.
If you don't, then you've got, the Army, Iraq, I don't know, something like that.
It's, it's not as bright. So, that's my little commercial for that.
Nice sentiment when the nation is at war, Stephen.
Nonetheless it's been Misery trying to read his recent books. And I won't be buying any more.
Oh. And one other thing. Hasn't King amassed enough money to fix his underbite?

Like so many bestselling authors of the 20th Century, Stephen King is a leftist. Always has been. If I remember correctly, he was a draft dodger, or would have been if his vision hadn't kept him out of military service.
I do read some of what he writes--some of his fiction and his book On Writing, but ignore anything political he has to say.
The above is not to excuse his statement at the Library of Congress. I'd fire off a letter to him, but he probably wouldn't read it anyway. After all, a leftist's brain is a closed paradigm.
Also, at least he's not running for President. Thank God. He just might get elected, considering how many voters have read and admired his work.
