One blogger has cataloged a nearly irrefuatble list of USA natural disasters (a.k.a. "acts of God") which have immediately followed ballyhooed efforts by the USA to aid the Arabs in their diplomatic efforts to get Israel to give them parts of the Biblical Eretz Yisroel.
EXPLANTION: God said (GENESIS 12:3) that He will treat the nations as they treat Israel. When the USA's efforts have the effect of diminishing Israel and its defenses, then the USA pays a high price, "measure for measure."
IMPLICATION: If Bush pressures Israel to return Golan and to cede Judea and Samaria the USA will get some Divine retribution.

(Oddly, the list includes no USA disaster around the time of the Camp David Accord between Israel and Egypt.)
