Natanz facility Iran has met a key target for its nuclear programme and now has 3,000 centrifuges enriching uranium, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said.TWO SIMPLE QUESTIONS:
Mr Ahmadinejad said Iran would continue its drive in spite of UN sanctions aimed at forcing a suspension.
Centrifuges enrich uranium to the level required for a power station but also to higher levels for a nuclear bomb.
The West has accused Iran of seeking to develop nuclear weapons - a charge Iran has strongly denied.
- IF THE ENRICHMENT PROGRAM IS INNOCENT, THEN WHY'D THEY LIE ABOUT THEM FOR TWO DECADES?
- WHY DO THEY NEED ENRICHED URANIUM - THEY DON'T HAVE A SINGLE FUNCTIONING NUCLEAR REACTOR TO GENERATE ELECTRICITY?
IT'S TIME TO REDUCE IRAN'S NUKE ASSETS, THEIR MILITARY ASSETS, THEIR POWER GRID AND TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM TO ASHES.
AND DO IT QUICKLY.
THAT'S THE PLAN. Complete round up at MEMEORANDUM.

It's clear that the Iranians are playing a cat and mouse game with the US and allies on the nuclear issue...and they're pretty clever and effective at it. The US has no choice but to recognize Iran's power and interests in the region and negotiate directly with Ahmedinejad to diffuse the situation. No other option is available.

firas - u r an ass; we have plenty of other options:
tougher sanctions; embargo; WAR.
i like the last AND SOONER RATHER THAN LATER.
we can wipe them out now - before they build a nuke.
facing a nuclear hitler in 1944 would have been rough.
a nuclear iran in 2009 will be tougher.
but maybe that's what you want, firas -
i bet you are an anti-American leftie and a moooozlim, firas - am i right?
