History shows that there has always been a strong anti-war element in American politics. WHY NOT?! After all, appeasement is part of human nature - like COWARDICE.
America has been lucky in that the cowards haven't always won the day - as they did in 1975 when they forced the USA to abandon the nascent democracy of South Vietnam and looked the other way when the North violated the Paris Peace Accord and invaded the South.
Let's hope that doesn't happen again.
The only way to guarantee it doesn't is to make sure we don't elect ANY Dem to the White House.
