The MSM's headlines all BLARE that Mueller's notes about meeting Ashcroft prove Gonzales's account of his meeting with WH CoC Card and Ashcroft (while Ashcroft was in hospital) is a lie.
BUT THIS IS NOT ACCURATE.
All the notes confirm is this:
MUELLER WAS NOT IN THE ROOM AT THE TIME GONZALES AND CARD MET WITH ASHCROFT. And that unlike Gonzales he felt (that at the time he met with him) Ashcroft was not very lucid - and that this was AFTER the meeting the AG had with Gonzales and Card - the WH CoS.EXCERPT FROM MUELLER'S NOTES - (WASH POST):
"Saw AG," Mueller writes in his notes for 8:10 p.m. on March 10, 2004, only minutes after Gonzales and White House chief of staff Andrew H. Card Jr. had visited Ashcroft. "Janet Ashcroft in the room. ...THE MSM IS A VIRTUAL LYNCH MOB AGAINST GONZALES..
FACT: The MSM is made up of largely leftist scum.
