Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch said on Tuesday that the charge sheet against Vice Premier Haim Ramon was worse than the one against former president Moshe Katsav.The problem with this here is that I cannot tell whether she said it for good reasons or not. But Ramon is certainly much more guilty of committing an indecent act than Katsav supposedly is.
Beinisch made the statement during a High Court discussion of petitions against a plea bargain signed by Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz, which erased Katsav's more serious charges in exchange for the former president admitting to sexual harassment and performing indecent acts.
