It's time to cut the money supply to the middle east, let see them buy missiles and guns from China and Russia with sand.
We are in an energy dilemma...or are we? A bit of online research uncovered, in just a few minutes, what appears to be several potential breakthrough technologies that if produced en masse would cut the American consumption of oil at least in half, perhaps more.
I have always suspected the technology was there but not harnessed. Speculation has long abounded that technology was being purchased by Arab oil states in order to perpetuate world dependence on oil.
Detroit, for one reason or another, seems intent on dragging their feet and refuses to give up the use of internal combustion engines.
They are clinging foolishly to the old technology. Japan, by contrast, is far ahead of Detroit with new hybrids on the market now. Detroit seems intent on imploding as is evident by their failure to produce even one mediocre hybrid vehicle.
Some really amazing technology is out there, begging to be used. The introduction of this technology needs to hastened. In addition to automotive technology, new advances in solar cells, flow batteries geothermal heatpumps and a variety of other technologies mean that America does not need to spend millions ramping up on ethanol or bio diesel industry whose owners will likely be the same oil companies who have held Americans hostage for years.
What we have on our side is great minds as most major innovation in the world originates in free western democracies. It's time we fought with our brains as well as our blood!
