ANOTHER GAZA TRUCE

A new truce has been agreed in Gaza after a day of violence in which at least five people were killed.

Egyptian mediators brokered the agreement between the rival Palestinian factions Hamas and Fatah to pull their armed men off the streets.

Sunday's violence was the worst since the factions agreed in February to form a unity government.

The violence began when a leader of the Fatah-linked al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades was ambushed and shot dead.

Eighteen people were also injured in the day's clashes and dozens more apparently abducted.
