Senator Harry Reid is doing his job for him. According to news reports, Reid has publicly proclaimed that
this war is lost, that the surge is not accomplishing anything.
We've surmised for a while that the Democrat Party wants an abject American surrender in Iraq, so that its policy of worldwide appeasement can better take effect.
Now Reid has proven us right.
What would he have said after the Japanese took 50,000 British prisoners at the fall of Singapore? What would he have said during the Battle of the Bulge? What would he have said during 1863 and early 1864?
Harry Reid's statement will only aid the enemy. He has forfeited his privilege of serving in the United States Senate by helping the enemy's cause. He should be tried for materially aiding a foreign enemy who is at war with the United States.
