It is a factor of climate change that comes from out of this world - space weather may have an impact on our own weather. The link between the cycles of the sun and the weather here on earth could be closer than first thought. Understanding that process could help as we explore the Galaxy and tackle today's environmental challenges.I saw this report on cable - IT IS GREAT: it relates how Danish space scientists are PROVING - experimentally - that space weather interacts with the Earth's weather, in all likelihood CAUSING most of the climate change. This is an important scientific BREAKTHROUGH in our understanding of how REALLY climate changes, and it explains ALL PREVIOUS cycles - which AGW DOES NOT AND CANNOT - (because the Earth has warmed BEFORE there were man-made greenhouse gases, and because the Earth has cooled for a few decades - between 1940-1970 - despite the fact that greenhouse gases have steadily increased).
The gist of the theory rests on the amazingly simple yet NEW idea that our atmosphere is not isolated in a vacuum, but interacts with Space Weather.

The sun plays a very significant role, without at doubt.
But climate modification by humans is a fact.
The problem is the left.
They scream "racism", and we get sick of hearing their self-serving politics. Racism is still a problem in some places, though.
Same with the feminists; we get sick of hearing them, especially when they do nothing about how women are treated in the Islamic World. However, women do face discrimination.
The environment is also being held hostage by leftist politics. So many of the environmentalist organizations focus on bad politics instead of good science, but there are legitimate concerns about the environment.
Did you know that the Republican Party has led the way in environmental conservation? Consider T. Roosevelt's conservationism, or Bush-41's environmental initiatives. The press doesn't trumpet any of that.
AGW has never been proven. it IS ONLY the consensus. and science is NOT about consensus.
it was CONSENSUS that the world was flat.
2+2=4 is a fact, not by consensus, but it can be proven.
water boils at 212F is a fact.
AGW is an unproven hypothesis.
FACT: water vapor has a much MUCH greater effect on global temps than methane or CO2.
methane has a greater effect than CO2.
and another thing.... (as you seem to appreciate) the left doesn't want to take REAL action to promote more sequestration - like chopping down OLD trees/forests and replacing them with new/Young trees/forests.
the left wants to shackle the markets and industrial development.
with taxes and regulations.
this is their true aim, promoting the bogeyman of AGW is just the means.
