I can't begin to tell you how irritated I was when I came across this article, "Scientists, Evangelicals Battling Global Warming". It seems that a bunch of supposed Evangelical Leaders want to join with Scientists in fighting global warming. My problem with that is you would have to believe in global warming first in order to agree to work on fighting it.
Even though the Drive By Media would like you to believe that everyone believes in global warming many logical people (mostly conservatives) don't buy into the Global Warming Myth. So it was a huge disappointment to see some of my fellow Evangelicals jumping on the global warming bandwagon.
I went to this link to see who all was on the list. My biggest shock and disappointment was to see Bill Hybels name on there. I used to love Bill Hybels but he seems to have gone the Rick Warren way. Rick Warren's name was on there too but that did not surprise me. This is the 3rd issue in recent months to send up red flags with me. I posted about both the Syria trip and having Obama speak at his AIDS conference here. It saddens me when people who should know better buy into the politically correct agenda of the day.

i try to make a distinction between global warming and man-made global warming and climate change and man-made climate change.
there might be global warming - if so... then it's probably natural. climate change has happened many times in the past.

Thats the whole point. There have always been natural warming and cooling trends but to make it into this catastrophic event is absurd. Like Rush points out it is the height of arrogance to think that man has that much influence over the environment to significantly change the warmth or cooling of the planet.
The other thing that irritates me is you have Ariana Huffington & others like her going around telling people that if they drive SUVs they are damaging the planet. Meanwhile Huffington is flying around in private jets that do more supposed damage to the environment in one flight than an SUV would do in something like 3 years.
I've seen information about global COOLING. Short and Sweet - Looks like it depends on what technology you use:
