Thanks to Ehud Olmert's policy of "restraint" in the face of terrorism, two boys in Sderot were wounded by kassam rocket shrapnel yesterday. Olmert is going to hold a discussion on the matter today, but it's much too late.
Now, I don't think much of defense minister (and Labor leader) Amir Peretz, but he's certainly right when he says that we shouldn't gamble with the lives of citizens in Sderot - where he's also a resident. In that case, maybe he should think about leaving the government in protest if Olmert is going to undermine him as he's been for some time now.
