The U.S. military is planning to move a brigade of troops into Kuwait in what could be the first step of a short-term surge of American forces into Iraq to stabilize the violence. The 2nd Brigade of the 82nd Airborne Division is expected in Kuwait shortly after the new year, a senior Defense Department official told The Associated Press on Friday. The official requested anonymity because the plans had not yet been announced.

Yes, they are. And, you haven't mentioned that Japan's PM recently talked about moving away from the "pacifist" stance of the country and building nuclear weapons. This was the first time since WWII that Japan had made such statements.
One more thing, just wait until America starts teaching patriotism in its schools again. An awful lot of the existing teachers are simply going to have to quit because they will not know how to do their jobs.
