DID FRANCE HELP RWANDANS COMMIT GENOCIDE?

BBC:
France has been accused by government officials in Rwanda of being complicit in the killing of 800,000 people. A panel of respected Rwandans is hearing claims that French soldiers stationed in Rwanda allowed or even encouraged the massacre of Tutsis. ... The panel is headed by former Justice Minister Jean de Dieu Mucyo and its hearings are being broadcast live on local radio. It is hearing from 25 survivors of the genocide, who claim to have witnessed French involvement. ... The panel will determine whether or not to refer the allegations to the International Court of Justice. Its findings are expected within six months.
I think they should put Kofi Annan on trial too: The UN admitted failure, but Kofi's guilt maybe deeper: he was in charge of "peace-keeping" for the UN at the time. More here.

It's amazing how France has mostly escaped public blame for its role in the genocide. (Just like they get away with their support for and collaboration with other evil client regimes.)

Jeff Weintraub (a left wing blogger I have no affiliation with), provides more information on French culpability in the Rwandan genocide:

Also, see this article by Linda Melvern:

Kofi will miss leading the charge in looting third world countries.
