Pakistan's Directorate of Inter Services Intelligence, or ISI, the country's top spy agency, began planning the attacks in March and later provided training to those who carried out the bombings in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Pakistan has in the past denied any involvement in the attacks and it was not immediately clear what implications the revelations would have on the fragile peace process between the nuclear-armed neighbors.Pakistan is a fragile ally with nukes. If the bad elements of their society and the ISI get control of the govvernment, then they'd become - overnight - what we fear Iran becoming: a nuclear armed jihadoterror state. We would have to immediately preemptively neutralize their nukes - with whatever it would take. I assume the plans for this are in a lockbox in the Pentagon, and I'm glad Bush has the key and not a Democrat dove.

i hope they'd try, but i wouldn't depend on it: dems let china fall; they let vietnam fall; they let cuba fall; they let central america fall; they let the shah fall; they woulda let chile fall; maybe even let iran and afghanistan and israel fall.
based on this track record, and the state of the world (we are in a global war/fighting global jihad), i would not vote for a single dem and i pray the dems do not gain control of any branch of our govt.
the dems have long been dominated by their leftie doves. the clinton era was a minor dlc blip, and a shallow one too.
until the fdr/truman/scoop jackson jfk lieberman hawks are back in control i feel it would be foolish to trust them with our national security or the defense of the free world.
