A FENCE ALONG OUR INTERNATIONAL BORDERS WOULD BE A COST EFFECTIVE SECURITY ENHANCEMENT

VIA POLIPUNDIT:
Excerpt from the article on immigration:
In December, the House voted to build 700 miles of fencing in all four states that border Mexico, a proposal that even conservative Senate Republicans oppose on the grounds that it would be too expensive.
POLIPUNDIT: "The 700-mile-long fence will cost at most $5 billion. And that’s accounting for government math. The annual US budget is well in excess of $2 trillion. Assuming the fence will take, say, 3 years to build, it works out to less than 0.08 percent of the national budget during that time. Meanwhile, Congress increased spending by 8 percent last year alone!! ... And it’s not like such a fence hasn’t been built before. Israel, a tiny nation of 6 million people, managed to find the money to build a 600-mile long fence for $2 billion."
THE COSTS OF NOT BUILDING A FENCE ARE HIGHER THAN BUILDING ONE. PLUS, BUILDING ONE SENDS A POWERFUL MESSAGE: "DON'T TREAD ON ME!"

AS POLI' WRITES: Please call your senators and tell them to stop the invasion of America.
