MUSLIM SQUATTERS AT CALAIS ASSAULT POLICE

An example of why the "jungle" migrant camp at Calais, France is one of the most terrible things that could happen to the country (via Jihad Watch):

The policemen had been sent to the Grande-Synthe Linière refugee camp, in northern France, to arrest a group of individuals suspected of smuggling migrants across the Channel.

The arrests were part of a larger police investigation, and the policemen were trying to disband a local migrant smuggling ring.

But the operation was brought to a halt after a group of migrants launched an attack on the three men.

One of them was badly injured and had to be rushed to a nearby hospital in Dunkirk, but has since been discharged.

Six migrants were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the attack, and remain in police custody [...]

They must be thrown out of the country one way or another, because they're causing all the horror they're going to continue causing.

GUATEMALA CRACKS DOWN ON LEV TAHOR

Finally, some justice is being done in Guatemala for all the children who've been abused by the Islamized Haredi cult that previously resided in Canada:

Authorities in Guatemala raided the compound of a haredi Orthodox sect living there, separating children from their parents, after allegations of physical and mental abuse surfaced.

Israel’s Justice Ministry said Sept. 13 that the Central American country had obeyed its request to crack down on the Lev Tahor group, according to Orthodox news website Kikar Hashabbat.

The Guatemalan government suspected the sect of performing child marriages and abusing members, including children.

The Justice Ministry said it was in touch with Guatemalan authorities to ensure the safety of Israeli citizens, including minors, who are members of the group, according to Kikar Hashabbat. The report did not specify how many people are currently members of the group or in what city the compound in question was located.

One of the reports I saw about this case says that Guatemala wisely raised its age threshold for marriage from 14 to 18, making it easier to charge the sect members with child abuse and forced marriage.

However, there is a sad bit of related news in all this:

In June, a court in Guatemala indicted the ex-mayor of a small town for “participating in the expulsion of a religious community,” after some 230 members of Lev Tahor were forced out of the village in 2014. The expulsion followed religious disputes with its Mayan residents, who are Roman Catholic.

The mayor of San Juan La Laguna, Antonio Adolfo Perez y Perez, was charged with abuse of authority and discrimination and sentenced to house arrest, the local newspaper Prensa Libre reported. He had lost his political immunity on Jan. 14 after he was not re-elected.

Excuse me? What did the guy do wrong? The cult was abusing their welcome and insulting everyone's intellect, and they accuse him of acting illegally? The cult was asking to be thrown out for their contempt, and their behavior was disgusting. It's time to shut down Helbrans's repulsive charade once and for all, and the former town mayor should be acquitted of the charges against him.

I'm certainly glad for now that the authorities have acted properly and ensured the cult would be detained. Those facing charges for abuse and kidnapping in Canada should be extradited back there, and also back to Israel, where I'm sure there's charges being filed against them too.

NATIONAL SECURITY IS ANOTHER REASON WHY FOREIGN POWERS CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTROL THE INTERNET

One of the most important reasons why not to allow sources like the UN to take control of the internet is because, if the wrong crowd were to take up use of government/military domains, it could enable them to exploit the addresses for bad goals. That's one of the reasons why opposition to Obama's effort to endanger the internet has been launched:

Cruz and Duffy’s legislation “will ensure that the United States maintains sole ownership of the .gov and .mil top-level domains, which are vital to national security,” according to the memo.

There's also the dangers of hackers, who could probably exploit a slapdash transfer to jeopardize security and conduct phishing scams. SC Magazine quotes a CEO from Invincea telling that ICANN's work doesn't include oversight of potential threat vectors. But with the Obama administration's questionable record, how can we possibly trust them to ensure security will continue to be managed well? There's no guarantee the Obama administration, or even a Hillary Clinton-led government, would ensure the safety of security. That's why Republican politicians in Congress are doing the right thing to fight all careless management of a transfer to foreign sources.

OBAMA'S ADMINISTRATION MAY HAVE MADE SECRET PAYMENTS TO IRAN

Over the past 2 years, it appears Obama's administration was paying over potentially $30 billion to Iran:

The $1.7 billion cash payment that the White House recently sent to Iran suggests that Washington may have transferred to Tehran more than $33 billion in untraceable cash and precious metals since 2014, giving the Islamic Republic greater flexibility to launder money and finance terrorism, a sanctions expert told Congress on Thursday.

In his testimony before the House Financial Services Committee, Mark Dubowitz, the executive director of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, challenged the White House’s claim that it had to transport the money to Iran in a mixture of foreign currencies on plane instead of wiring it because, according to the administration, “we are so strict in maintaining sanctions and we do not have a banking relationship with Iran.”

If the administration gave that much to Iran, it's more than enough to develop tons of nuclear weapons and other deadly technology. The world's only been made a more dangerous place thanks to their disturbing jizya.

ISLAMIST VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN FRANCE WHO WEAR SHORTS

Now, adding to the horrors that have come after the terrorist attacks in Paris and Nice, there's also violence in places like Toulon against women who wear shorts:

Two families on a cycle ride in Toulon, southern France, came under violent attack after assailants hurled insults at two female partners for wearing shorts, according to prosecutors.

The attack, carried out by a group of youths from a housing estate in the Mediterranean port town, has sparked claims that parts of France are prey to an Islamist “morality police”.

Without a doubt, they are indeed.

Two couples with their three children and a friend were on a Sunday afternoon outing on bikes and roller blades when the “incredibly violent” attack took place, according to Var Matin, the local newspaper.

They were passing near the Cité des Oeillets, an estate in eastern Toulon, when a group of adolescents starting insulting the women of the group because of their shorts, including jibes such as: “Dirty whore, get naked.”

When their male partners sought to intervene, a larger group of youths arrived and a fight ensued, according to the Toulon prosecutor; Bernard Marchal.

“The male partners had simply asked them to respect their women and that sparked the fight. The three men were violently beaten on the face in front of their children. This was provocation of a sexual nature with the intention of forcing a reaction out of the men present,” said Mr Marchal.

One of the men was severely beaten and has had to take a month off work, while another had his nose broken. The women were lightly injured and the children suffered from shock.

Thanks to CCTV, police were able to identify and arrest two suspects, aged 17 and 19, and a preliminary investigation has been launched to identify other suspects.

This is downright repulsive. If the authorities want to prove they're going to crack down on such violence, they're going to have to start seeing to it that the judges stop giving weak sentences. They're also going to have to start imposing serious monetary fines upon the offenders.

The attack comes a month after an 18-year old girl was spat at and insulted by a group of girls who found her shorts indecent.

Maud Vallet posted a Facebook picture of herself in shock afterwards with the caption: “Hello, I’m a slag”. The post received over 81,000 “likes”, or signs of readers’ anger and sadness over the incident.

She recounted asking her taunters: "Why are you calling me a whore because I'm wearing shorts while a man can walk around the centre of town bare-chested without anyone saying anything?"

She said they replied: "Because you're a woman and should respect yourself, you idiot."

A solidarity “march in shorts” was held in the town.

There should be more solidarity movements like those held here too. The creeps who insulted the girl were invoking an offensive cliche of sexualizing a woman's body, and come to think of it, men's too. Maybe male Muslim offenders should even be made to wear a veil over their heads, if anything, as a punishment for their own felonies.

CAR WITH GAS CANISTERS FOUND NEAR NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL

The French police found a car without license plates left by jihadists near Notre Dame in Paris, and arrested the culprits:

Several people are being held in Paris after police found an unmarked car containing gas cylinders next to Notre Dame cathedral, according to French reports, sparking fears of a fresh terrorist plot.

An anti-terror investigation has been launched following the discovery of the suspicious vehicle containing seven cylinders on Sunday, yards from the cathedral, one of Paris's most visited landmarks where thousands of tourists congregate every day.

The car, a Peugeot 607 with no number plates, contained no explosives or detonators, according to French reports. "They were not linked to any kind of fuse," one source close to the investigation told l'Express.

According to BFM TV, one empty canister was found in the back of the car and six full ones in the boot. The type of gas they contained was not specified.

The car had been abandoned on Quai de Montebello, just yards from Notre Dame, located on the Île de la Cité, by the river Seine.

Initial reports said that a couple - a man, aged 34, and a woman, aged 29 - were arrested and are being questioned by French domestic intelligence agents.

But Le Parisien, the capital's daily reported that six people are now being held.

More proof that Christians and their landmarks are being threatened in France. On the surface, it might sound like this was a dry run, but there's every chance something is being covered up, not unlike the savagery that took place at Bataclan last year, and those could've been poisoned gas. Which only proves there's serious danger here.

REUTERS WHITEWASHES/SUGARCOATS SITUATIONS WITH BURKINIS IN ISRAEL

Since we were on the subject of Reuters the other day, they wrote a report from Israel that leaves a bad taste in my mouth with its whitewash and sugarcoating:

In Israel, there may be profound ideological and political differences between the Jewish population and the near 20-percent Muslim minority, but it has never come down to banning someone’s dress on the basis of religion.

“It is very funny that people think they are so liberal and open and yet they cannot stand other religions and the feelings of other people,” said Ruti Solomon, an Israeli Jewish woman enjoying the sunshine on the beach in Tel Aviv.

Behind her, Muslim women with their bodies and heads fully covered in burkini-like clothing played in the water or relaxed on the sand, with the church spires and mosque minarets of the town of Jaffa in the near distance.

“I’ve heard what’s happening in Europe,” said Shams al-Duha Alayyan, a fully-covered young Muslim woman visiting the coast from Jerusalem. “This is personal freedom. If I want to cover my body, why can’t I cover my body?”

Well here's 2 disgraces, one who either doesn't have the courage to admit it's as oppressive as the niqab, or is so indoctrinated she has no self-esteem. And Reuters must've been quite happy to find anybody who'd lend themselves to their attack on France. As I've noted before, the burkini could be used to conceal weapons and even drugs, and on top of that, it's bad for hygiene. Now in Israel, they usually maintain good enough security even at beaches, but that still doesn't mean a burkini's appropriate even here.

Oh, and I must seriously disagree with the following accomodation:

Of course, Israel has its quirks, too. The ultra-Orthodox Jewish population enjoys the seaside as much as anyone else. But they keep separate, not only having segregated beaches but alternating the bathing days for men and women.

North of Tel Aviv, it was women’s day at an ultra-Orthodox beach on Tuesday. Busloads of visitors arrived in full-body swimwear and went down to the beachfront via a security gate, with high fencing all around to keep out prying eyes.

It's one thing if they want to be so ridiculously prudish, but to provide them with a public beach section is regrettable, and it's bad if they're not considering personal hygiene and doing this at the potential expense of their health. They should be getting their own pool if it's that big a deal to them, and not exploiting public shores.

Since we're on the subject, some courts in France have let down the public yet again by overturning the burkini ban, although some of this news may be exaggerated, as the municipalities were going to let it go around the end of August anyway. Nevertheless, this is troubling news, since it shows that the legal system in France is an enemy of the people as much as the press are.

SOME HOPEFULLY FORTUNATE NEWS ABOUT ICANN

The UK Register's reported that the US government may extend the ICANN contract again:

The US government has admitted its plan to move control of the internet's naming and numbering functions to a California non-profit next month may not move forward.

In a letter [PDF] from the Department of Commerce (DoC) to ICANN sent August 31, the department's CFO gives the organization 30 days' notice that it may extend its current contract over the critical IANA functions by a year. In other words, Uncle Sam will continue to oversee ICANN's running of IANA for another 12 months.

I certainly hope responsibility's being taken now, because some of the reports indicated that ICANN's still not fully ready to run business without proper oversight.

In any case, I think there should be competition on internet operating, and other companies should take up the challenge of building businesses for offering operations similar to ICANN's. There can be an advantage in it.

US ADMINISTRATION AGREED TO "SECRET EXEMPTION" FOR IRAN

More info's coming out that reveals just how bad Obama's dealings with Iran were:

The United States and its negotiating partners agreed “in secret” to allow Iran to evade some restrictions in last year’s landmark nuclear agreement in order to meet the deadline for it to start getting relief from economic sanctions, according to a report reviewed by Reuters.

The report is to be published on Thursday by the Washington-based Institute for Science and International Security, said the think tank’s president David Albright, a former U.N. weapons inspector and co-author of the report. It is based on information provided by several officials of governments involved in the negotiations, who Albright declined to identify.

Reuters could not independently verify the report’s assertions.

“The exemptions or loopholes are happening in secret, and it appears that they favor Iran,” Albright said.

Among the exemptions were two that allowed Iran to exceed the deal’s limits on how much low-enriched uranium (LEU) it can keep in its nuclear facilities, the report said. LEU can be purified into highly enriched, weapons-grade uranium.

The exemptions, the report said, were approved by the joint commission the deal created to oversee implementation of the accord. The commission is comprised of the United States and its negotiating partners — called the P5+1 — and Iran.

Absolutely disgusting, and it only endangers practically the whole world even more.

AMERICANS AGAINST SURRENDERING THE INTERNET TO THE UN

A special poll on Breitbart reveals that a lot of Americans are against handing over the web to an awful body like the UN, although there's still more who may not be fully aware of what could happen:

There is overwhelming opposition to President Barack Obama’s plan to hand over control of the Internet to an international advisory body, 41 percent against with 14 percent supporting, according to the Breitbart/Gravis poll of 1,493 likely voters released Friday.

“In addition to the high oppostion, the 44 percent who are unsure really means that many, many Americans are not following the story,” said Doug Kaplan, the managing partner of Gravis Marketing, the Florida-based firm that executed the poll. The poll carries a margin of error of 2.5 percent.

Clearly, there's need to let a lot more people know about the ramifications of this awful move.

Kaplan said as a follow up, respondents, who were opposed to the handover were asked: “Is this an example of America’s weakening leadership in the world?”

Seventy-five percent of the likely voters who said they opposed the U.S. handing over control of the Internet said it was an example of “America’s weakening leadership in the world,” he said.

[...] Rick Manning, the president of Americans for Limited Government, told Breitbart News the handover should be bigger news.

“It is a big deal, because it ends First Amendment protections over the web,” he said.

“Right now, the only real protection that exists on the web is not from Facebook, Google, Yahoo or even Breitbart, but it is from the U.S. government contract with ICANN which means that ICANN cannot limit speech by arranging contracts with GoDaddy and others,” he said.

As long as ICANN is working under the cover of the federal government and the protections guarateed in the Constitution, the Internet remains free, he said.

Once the contract expires, there is nothing to stop ICANN from hiring Lois Lerner to take down all the sites that belong to the Tea Party or advocates for gun rights.

Not just Lerner. Even Islamic dictatorships could damage sites opposing their ideology. This is why I think, at the same time, that some countries with rationale should start setting up companies similar to ICANN and provide name/number service themselves. That could help add competition for the market. For now, it's simply unacceptable if the UN gets any access the internet, and that's why every sane person should oppose the move.

INTERNET COULD BE CONQUERED BY THE UN IN OCTOBER

Joel Pollak once again warns that Obama could transfer ICANN into the hands of the UN, which is bound to destroy internet freedom unless an alternative can be found:

It’s shocking the administration admits it has no plan for how Icann retains its antitrust exemption. The reason Icann can operate the entire World Wide Web root zone is that it has the status of a legal monopolist, stemming from its contract with the Commerce Department that makes Icann an “instrumentality” of government. [...]

Without the U.S. contract, Icann would seek to be overseen by another governmental group so as to keep its antitrust exemption. Authoritarian regimes have already proposed Icann become part of the U.N. to make it easier for them to censor the internet globally. So much for the Obama pledge that the U.S. would never be replaced by a “government-led or an inter-governmental organization solution.”

The worst part is that, much like with the Iran deal, Obama could push this through no matter what protests are issued. There are already Senators introducing a bill to protect the internet. But everyone who believes in freedom will have to be wary of what could happen in another month.

A RABBI WHO DEFENDS THE BURKINI BAN

A rabbi in France has ideally defended banning burkinis from French beaches:

A senior Paris rabbi defended a string of controversial municipal bans in France on wearing the full-body swimsuit known as a burkini in public.

Moshe Sebbag of the Grand Synagogue told JTA on Tuesday that he supported in principle the regulations adopted earlier this month in 15 French municipalities, including the famed beach resort Cannes. Last week, Prime Minister Manuel Valls said the garb, worn by Muslim women in accord with their religious views of modesty, was part of a “political project” to perpetuate female servitude.

“It’s a complicated subject and both sides have compelling arguments,” Sebbag said in an interview.

While the French state is a “secular country with freedom of religion,” he said, the mayors in question “understood this is not about women’s liberty to dress modestly, but a statement as to who will rule here tomorrow.” The rabbi added that this owed to recent jihadist terror attacks in France.

“They understand today there’s a religious war, a takeover of the secular establishment of the French republic, and this is what they find unacceptable,” Sebbag said. Asked if he agrees with the burkini bans, he said: “Yes, because you see that going with it [a burkini] is not innocent, it’s sending a message.”

Yes, the way those Muslims involved are going about it, it's clear they're doing everything they can to disgust the public and symbolize contempt. And, as I may have noted before, burkinis can be used to smuggle small weapons like dynamite sticks and grenades, and could even be used for drug smuggling. There's also hygiene to worry about. So all municipalities who consider the burkini a bad idea should stand firm on their decision to keep it off the beaches.

Hillary's Hysterical, Pathetic, Desperate 'Racist' Attacks on 'Alt Right' Donald Trump (VIDEO)

Today witnessed one of the truly lowest points of modern presidential politics.

I'm actually blown away by Hillary's sheer desperation at this point. The email revelations of the last week must have rattled the Clinton campaign, because Cankles erupted like a blast-furnace of smears, lies, aspersions, and guilt-by-association attacks. She's sunk lower than ever before. It was ugly.

MARK WAID HINTED CONTEMPT FOR ISRAEL A FEW MONTHS AGO

Back in March/April, the cartoonist Steve Murray (Chip Zdarsky) took a vacation to Israel, and while tweeting about it, comics writer Mark Waid made some rather snide comments, such as:

@zdarsky No one believes for one second that you're actually in Israel right now and that this isn't some elaborate prank. No one.

Even more eyebrow raising, however, was the following:

Something pretty fishy about his putting Israel in quotation marks. Was Waid implying he doesn't recognize the validity of Israel? Because if that's what he was doing, he soaked up his reputation a bit more. Zdarksy didn't even seem to try and tell him he was running the gauntlet of embarrassing them, one more sad screw up.

The managers of the store he visited seemed to realize Waid was stooping pretty low, so they said:

While many in the media have declared the presidential election all but over, damning accusations of pay to play at the Clinton Foundation and reports that the FBI found 15,000 work-related documents that Hillary Clinton failed to turn over represent the political land mines that still lie between her and the presidency. Multiple ongoing Freedom of Information Act civil suits, perjury allegations, an IRS probe and alleged joint U.S. Attorney-FBI investigation into the Clinton Foundation represent the inescapable cloud of corruption that could be the Democratic nominee's undoing.

As the drip, drip, drip of information highlighting the intersection between the Clinton Foundation and the State Department surfaces, the political fallout for Hillary Clinton is unavoidable. The newly exposed emails demonstrate another lie told by the Clinton campaign. Despite her lawyers stating that only 30,000 emails on her server were related to work, the 15,000 puts that number closer to 45,000. But more importantly, it paints a clearer picture of what Hillary Clinton was attempting to hide by setting up private servers in the first place and attempting to wipe them clean.

What is particularly troubling for Clinton is that liberal publications like the Huffington Post and Boston Globe are calling for the Clinton Foundation to shut down. The calls will undoubtedly grow louder as reports continue to expose the overlap between top foreign donors to the foundation and the access it gained them to Hillary Clinton as secretary of state. That access puts into question the impartiality of the decisions Secretary Clinton made while in office and the potential conflicts of interest she would be confronted with as commander in chief. The Wall Street Journal has reported that "At least 60 companies that lobbied the State Department during her tenure donated a total of more than $26 million to the Clinton Foundation." And according to the Associated Press, 55 percent of Clinton's meetings and calls with people outside of the government were donors to the Clinton Foundation.

More than 40 percent of the Clinton Foundation's top donors are based in foreign countries, prompting the Washington Post to write, "Rarely, if ever, has a potential commander in chief been so closely associated with an organization that has solicited financial support from foreign governments." Many of those foreign governments have a history of human rights abuses. It is estimated the Clinton Foundation has accepted tens of millions of dollars from Middle Eastern countries.

Emails recently released by Judicial Watch and reports by Fox News demonstrate the close level of communication between State Department and Clinton Foundation officials. Judicial Watch recently released 725 pages of State Department documents showing coordination between Hillary Clinton's Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin and Douglas Band, a former longtime aide of President Bill Clinton and employee of the Clinton Foundation, who worked together to grant access to then-Secretary Clinton for high-dollar donors like Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain.

After failing to set up a meeting with the secretary of state through State Department channels, Salman, who contributed $32 million to the Clinton Global Initiative, went through the Clinton Foundation and successfully set up a meeting 48 hours later...

That's the best summary and analysis of this so far.

Westword has a disturbing report about a Muslim convert in California who murdered his grandparents (via Jihad Watch):

The video onetime Coloradan Nathaniel Scheiern posted on his Facebook page circa May 4 comes with an all-caps warning/message: “GRAPHIC FOOTAGE. ADULTS ONLY. LESSONS WITH LIFE’S TESTS MAKES EASY A`s!

The clip appears to be an ISIS terror video — and we’re not sharing it here because invective is followed by scenes of people being beheaded.

It’s too soon to know if material like this has any relation to the Glendale, California murders of Scheiern’s grandparents, William and Verna, for which Nathaniel was formally charged this week.
