OMAR MATEEN WAS A DEVOUT PRACTITIONER OF ISLAM

A co-worker of the jihad monster confirmed he was as religious as can be:
A former co-worker of Omar Mateen says he was “a devout Muslim” who prayed several times during his shifts at the security company where they both worked.

Monday night, Fox News’ Megyn Kelly spoke with Daniel Gilroy who worked with Mateen for about a year at a security company. Gilroy tells Kelly he and Mateen were alone each work day during a shift change and that Mateen made bigoted remarks on every single occasion they were together. After 8 months of this, Gilroy finally went to his supervisor to report what was happening.

Asked why he waited so long to report Mateen, Gilroy replied, “I wanted to make the job work. I wanted to keep the peace. I wanted to not be the trouble-maker at work.” But the company didn’t fire Mateen so after four months or requesting a transfer, Gilroy quit. Asked if he was surprised to learn Mateen had carried out the attack in Orlando, Gilroy replied, “No, not at all.”
Good grief. The man truly was a product of the Koran's mentality. Truly disgusting.

FRENCH POLICEMAN AND WIFE MURDERED BY JIHADIST

A jihadist who was only under surveillance and not jailing murdered a policeman and his wife. Their son, who was also threatened, survived:
A police commander and his partner were stabbed to death at their home west of Paris. Their three-year-old survived.

The attacker was killed in an police assault on the house.

He had spent time in jail over jihadist links and had a list of targets including public figures, police say.

Named by French sources as Larossi Abballa, he had also been under recent police surveillance, including a wiretap, say media reports quoting police sources.

Paris Prosecutor Francois Molin said that Abballa had pledged his loyalty to IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi during negotiations prior to the police assault on Monday, and had stated that he was answering his call "to kill infidels".

Three people linked to the man were arrested and placed in custody, he said.

Police say the man lay in wait outside the policeman's house on Monday evening before the ambush took place at around 20:30 (18:30 GMT). After the murder he went inside the house and killed the policeman's wife, and held their three-year-old son hostage.

Abballa, 25, was shot and killed when police entered the couple's home in Magnanville at about midnight, hours after he posted a 13-minute video on Facebook Live in which he swore allegiance to IS.

In the video, he was shown considering what to do with their son, according to French jihad expert David Thomson, who watched it.
The son was lucky to survive. And the police did the right thing to gun down the jihadist, who should've been kept in jail, and above all, sent for psychological evaluations. However, according to this information:
Abballa was sentenced in 2013 to two and half years in jail due to his connections to a Jihadi group with links to Pakistan. He was freed after serving his sentence and was awaiting trial.
So they released a dangerous monster when he should've been kept incarcerated. Because of that jaw-dropping irresponsibility, an innocent man and woman are now dead. If they don't start modifying procedures to ensure satanic creatures like that jihadist won't be released, this could happen again.

WHY DID JESSICA PLUMMER RESORT TO MORAL EQUIVALENCE AND REPUBLICAN-BASHING?

You've probably already heard how Marvel's modern staff turned Steve Rogers aka Capt. America into a Hydra agent. Well, here's something related. Comics critic Plummer's opinion on Nick Spencer's inside-out retcon of Steve Rogers was mentioned in some news sources. Having read it in full, certainly there's plenty of vital points she's made. But the following highlighted parts are what turned the impact soggy, and makes me question whether she's being altruistic about this:
It’s easy, especially if you’re not Jewish, to think that anti-semitism is a thing of the past. It’s not. It flies under the radar, mostly, until suddenly it doesn’t: with graffiti in Spain, hateful party games in American high schools, vicious threats being flung at Jewish journalists for criticizing Trump. With physical attacks—with deaths—in France. Nor is neo-Nazi rhetoric, which hews closer to 616 Hydra’s shtick, a goofy make-believe thing. Not when the Republican presidential nominee spouts fascist ideology that echoes Hitler’s rise to power and spurs a literal rise in hate crimes against Muslims.
The beginning line in this paragraph is impressive. But my heart sank when I saw the last line there, and realized she was resorting to moral equivalence by claiming there's a "literal rise of hate crimes" against Islamists. Just what has that got to do with this subject anyway? Does she really buy all the victimology of the same movement whose Koran influenced them to commit anti-semitism? The one-sided attack on the GOP is another serious letdown, and does she also believe the claims made against Trump at immediate face value? It's also curious that, while she links to a NYT article that does acknowledge Islamofascists are behind the violence today in France, she doesn't actually mention that in her own words.

As mentioned once before, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster once wrote a story in Action Comics 30 where the Man of Steel took on some Islamic bandit types, Lee Falk featured an Islamist in one of his Mandrake the Magician comic strips as a member of a kidnapping gang, and Will Eisner's last graphic novel, The Plot, was about Muslim-engineered antisemitism. It wouldn't be surprising if Kirby/Simon and their ilk had ever written a story involving Muslim-style criminals too. If she really thinks "hate crimes" against Muslims have literally risen in every way, then by that logic, Siegel, Shuster, Falk and Eisner are guilty of encouraging them too. But as studies by sources far better than a pretentious site like Common Dreams note, there's anything but a "rise" in alleged hate crimes against Islamists.

Reading that ill-advised line by Plummer made me wonder: if anybody wanted to pitch a story where Captain America actually takes on jihadists, without even resorting to the 9-11 Truther propaganda the 2002 Marvel Knights series went by, would people like her oppose it bitterly? I've got a terrible feeling the answer is "yes". If so, that would only compound the impression she has no idea what she wants the Star-Spangled Avenger to be about, or what the character should stand for/against.

This also made me think of something: even if Captain America hadn't been created by Jews, that doesn't mean offense at Brevoort/Spencer wouldn't be warranted. Similarly, if a minor character like Sylvester Pemberton, the Star-Spangled Kid (and later Skyman), who was created by Siegel, had fallen victim to such disgust, it would've been reprehensible too. And the same goes for if Ted Knight, the original Starman, and Janet VanDyne/the Wasp, had been subjected to such sickness. Point: it shouldn't be just because the creators of any notable superheroes, major or minor, are Jewish that offense should be taken. There were plenty of non-Jewish creators in the Golden Age, including William Marston of Wonder Woman fame, whose creations shouldn't be subjected to the PC abominations we're seeing in modern times either, and doing so would be as much a slap in the face to them as it is to Simon/Kirby. Speaking of which, must I remind that Simon was a Republican in his time, and condemned bin Laden? If Simon were alive today and wanted to vote for Trump, how would she react?

I'm very disappointed with Plummer for inserting such a slapdash line that dampens the edge from the article she wrote, and risks suggesting her sentiments aren't altruistic. Moral equivalence does nothing to help protest an injustice. Only being a realist and focusing on the meat-and-potatoes gist of the subjects does the job right.

HOW ARE COMICS WRITERS RESPONDING TO THE MASS JIHAD ATTACK AT A GAY NIGHTCLUB IN ORLANDO?

As noted earlier, there was a horrific attack by a Muslim security guard at a gay nightclub in Orlando this week that left 50 dead (H/T: Michelle Malkin). The culprit's father, it turns out, is a Taliban supporter. Naturally, one can only wonder how some would-be writers are reacting to this awful news. For example, we have Dan Slott, whose only concern seems to be gun control:




For a leftist like Slott, psychology can never possibly be a problem. When he answers a guy who told him the club members could've defended themselves had they been able to carry guns, he says:

Maybe he should just shed his own for a change. There's no point in mimicking Hilary Clinton.

Unless they're liberals like Slott.


But as it so happens, the perpetrators could've used knives. There was a horrible case last year, right here in Jerusalem, where a Haredi crackpot from an isolationist-type background stabbed several people at a LGBT parade march in the summer, and murdered a 16-year-old girl who wasn't even a lesbian. The authorities have to shoulder much of the blame for failing to take any steps to prevent that monster from committing his repulsive crime. Many rabbis condemned the crime and made clear that, no matter how much they disagree with practice of homosexuality, it's no excuse for murder and violating the Commandment against it. I don't seem to recall Slott or any of his leftist colleagues ever condemning that tragic incident. Perhaps violence by religious fanatics of Haredi backgrounds doesn't exactly concern them?

Keep going with those flaccid defenses, which collapse instantly. There's black marketeering of weapons globally, but most important of course, is how educational systems are failing.

I've got a hunch he doesn't want to live in Israel because there's thankfully laws today permitting self-defense, not unlike what the USA offers.

So mindsets and education are never at fault in these cases? As expected, Slott keeps floating around in fantasyland.

Let's turn to Ron Marz. What does he consider a big issue here? As you could probably guess:

But no condemnation of the shooter's ideology and what led him to commit the horror? Now, here's G. Willow Wilson, whose answer is predictable:

But you can connect the Koran's nasty standing on homosexuality - such as verse 7:81 - to what happened. So her blabbery excuses are meaningless.

Let's now look at Gail Simone. She says:

No idea that the perpetrator was an Islamofascist? I vaguely recall her downplaying the seriousness of the issue on the Dixonverse forum. How can we buy that she's really concerned?

Don't be fooled by her fake sentiments either. She's decidedly a phony if she won't condemn the education source of the shooter.

If she did, then she'd worry about the Koran's verses. But all people like her worry about is Christianity/Judaism.

Yes, far more than Mrs. Simone happens to be.

Now for Kurt Busiek, albeit here, I'm going to post it via an answer given by another Twitter user:

The guy's right. An Islamofascist followed his Religion of Rape's view of homosexuals, and all Busiek cares about are conservatives? In that case, Kurt's not worried at all. He's just doing a two-sides-of-same-coin tactic. On the one hand, he claims to be in favor of homosexuality at all costs, yet that support grinds to a halt when Islam rears its ugly head. As Milo Yiannapoulous says, the left's chosen Islam over homosexuality, and now look what's happened. Now for Ed Brubaker:

Looks like he can't bring himself to name the religion that led to this tragedy either. It's hard for one side to be decent when they adhere to Islam.

Yet Ed doesn't seem particularly interested in recommending a way to prevent massacres like this from happening either.

There's just one little thing: will president Obama and other Democrats work closely with the GOP to ensure it never happens again? However, wait'll you see what this following artist/writer named Sarah Horrocks has to say:

Very fascinating. This woman is trying to divert attention from pertinent issues and heap it all on an easy target: Christianity. She's probably not even disturbed that just a few weeks ago, Orlando hosted a Muslim cleric who called for death to gays and lesbians. Say, if she's really so bothered, then is she mad at any LGBT advocates who may pan Muslims too? How pathetically cheap she is. Same goes for Gerry Conway's reaction:

What a pathetic show of knowledge from somebody who either didn't read the Koran, or is so callous he sees nothing wrong with it.

Conway's reaction is probably that a Muslim pulled this sickening act, and not a Christian and/or conservative.

Nothing is what liberals like Conway do best these days. The guy's long made a joke out of himself, leaving one to wonder why he'd ever bother creating the Punisher if he never liked the vigilante approach he ascribed to Frank Castle.

In the end, if anything's clear, it's that, while leftists may uphold homosexuality when Christianity/Judaism object, they'll abandon homosexuality when Islam objects. Even the above lefty examples may know that, but won't ever admit it. They're simply not fit to speak on the issues any more than they are writing comics and movies.

AN ISIS COLLABORATOR IN FLORIDA MURDERED 50 PEOPLE AT A GAY NIGHTCLUB

In one of the worst mass murders ever committed on US soil, a jihadist who'd worked as a security guard murdered 50 people with a machine gun:
The death toll reached 50 and 53 others were injured after a gunfire erupted at a gay nightclub in Orlando, USA early on Sunday, the police said.

The reports also stated that suspected gunman is dead and the injured have been rushed to the hospital.

There are reports that FBI had questioned the suspected gunmen way back in 2013, but didn't found anything conclusive. He had purchased a handgun and long gun just a week ago, as per initial reports.

A fighter from the Islamic State group carried out today's mass shooting inside a gay club in Orlando, Florida, an IS-linked media report said, quoting an unidentified source. "The attack that targeted a nightclub for homosexuals in Orlando, Florida and that left more than 100 dead and wounded was carried out by an Islamic State fighter," it said in a terse statement quoting a "source". Amaq, the IS-linked news agency, gave no further details.

US media reported that the gunman -- widely identified as 29-year-old Omar Mateen, an American citizen of Afghan descent -- had pledged allegiance to the jihadist group IS.
Some of the reports so far note that he yelled out "allahu akbar" as well. Yet leftists still consider Christians an enemy, not Islamofascists.

The prime minister and president here have offered their condolences.

SYRIAN TERROR SUSPECT DETAINED IN FRANCE REVEALS CELL IN GERMANY

More evidence that jihad rings are lurking around Europe, and ready to carry out murderous attacks:
A Syrian man who was detained in France and exposed a terror ring in Germany, told officials that the cell contained more people than the three who were arrested last week, according to officials familiar with the man’s testimony.

The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that the man’s revelations are increasing concerns that the Islamic State (ISIS) could be close to carrying out an attack in Europe once again.

Authorities in France, Germany and the Netherlands are examining the testimony from the man, only identified as Saleh A., who walked into a Paris police station in February and claimed to be part of an ISIS sleeper cell numbering between 10 and 20 people, unidentified officials with knowledge of the investigation told the Journal.

The man’s testimony led to the arrest of three Syrian men in three different German states last week, federal prosecutors said. The men reportedly got into Europe under the cover of asylum-seeking Syrians and were preparing to attack the city of Dusseldorf.
If the authorities don't want more lethal tragedies to occur, they're going to have to take serious action to crack down on Muslim enclaves and expel many of these potentially dangerous interlopers from their continent. It's clear that Europe has become extremely dangerous because of all the neglect by authorities all these years, and no sane person can just sit by and ignore what's hatching in the shadows.

UN TAKES SAUDI ARABIA OFF LIST OF CHILDREN'S RIGHTS ABUSERS

The UN cares more about money than justice as they kowtow to one of the worst human rights violators in the Muslim world (via Accuracy in Media):
The United Nations has shown they care more about money than children’s rights as they removed Saudi Arabia from a list of countries who committed atrocities in Yemen.

The kingdom threatened to pull money from numerous UN programs if they remained on the list. UN General Secretary Ban Ki-moon immediately gave into their demands and will remove Saudi pending a review.
I'm sure Iran provides funding for the UN to boot. Ki-moon has likewise proven himself one of the most disgraceful politicians around, somebody no sane person should have anything to do with.

4 PEOPLE MURDERED IN TERRORIST ATTACK IN TEL AVIV

The PLO/Islam worshipers who committed this crime should serve as a warning that even Tel Aviv has never been safe from jihad:
Four people were killed and 16 wounded on Wednesday night in a shooting attack at the Sarona Market in the heart of Tel Aviv. [...]

The police spokesperson said two terrorists took part in the incident and were captured near the scene. The terrorists were neutralized; one was taken in for interrogation and the other was wounded and evacuated to the hospital.

The terrorists are believed to be cousins from the Hebron area.
The government's suspended work permits of men from the PLO areas, but it's painfully obvious that's not enough; only banishing Islam will ensure safety. In fact, the culprits should not be allowed Muslim prayer gear while in prison.

SCOTTISH POLICE INTRODUCE OFFICIAL HIJAB UNIFORM FOR ENCOURAGING MUSLIMS TO JOIN

Dhimmitude in the Scottish police division, as they'll desperately do anything for the sake of "diversity":
Police Scotland have said they will do “anything” to be more “diverse” and will be introducing a special hijab to encourage more female Muslims to join the force.

The Scottish Police authority released a detailed report on how they are working “to achieve a workforce that is more representative of our society,” and encourage “people from under-represented groups to consider policing as a career.” [...]

Therefore, “…in an effort to attract more Muslim women into policing a sample hijab has been sourced and tested” the report states.

Police Scotland are far from leading the way, however, as London’s Metropolitan Police approved a uniform hijab more than 10 years ago (pictured).
Yes, I'm aware of that too. Now the north end of the isle is caving to degradation, and encouraging Muslim women to remain lacking in esteem. Just truly awful. Especially when you consider the harm that comes with employing Muslims in law enforcement, which they could exploit for bad intentions.

CONGRESS UNIMPRESSED WITH IRANIAN GOVERNMENT'S DISHONEST LETTER

The Weekly Standard tells how, months after requesting a visa to travel to Iran to check for themselves, the Iranian government only sent back a letter with weak statements and self-righteousness. Kansas Republican Mike Pompeo's reply was:
"This absurd letter from the Iranian Foreign Ministry is unsigned, months overdue, and refers to our request for visas to travel to Iran as a 'publicity stunt.' It is not responsive to our request, and is an attempt to distract from some of the Ayatollah's far more dramatic 'publicity stunts' such as writing 'Israel must be wiped out' on ballistic missiles, plotting to blow up a restaurant in Washington, D.C., and kidnapping American sailors on the day of the State of the Union. Our request was never a publicity stunt. It was, and remains, a serious attempt to accomplish important tasks for the American people. I ask the government of Iran yet again, grant our request for a visa."
Tragically but predictably, Iran's government won't. The USA is one source, if any, whose validity is one the Iranian governments don't want to recognize, unlike the UN, who in their current incarnation they can rely upon to do nothing.

JERUSALEM'S 49TH ANNIVERSARY OF LIBERATION FROM ISLAMOFASCISTS

Today, Israel celebrated 49 years since freeing Jerusalem from the grip of Islamic tyranny over in Jordan, and reunified it as the Israeli capital it is:
Jerusalem is celebrating 49 years since its reunification under Israeli sovereignty with a number of ceremonies and events going into Sunday evening.

The official state ceremony for Jerusalem Day will take place at the Ammunition Hill memorial site. Six torches will be lit in memory of those killed in the battle for Jerusalem. Those lighting the torches will be representatives of bereaved families and of the brigades that fought in the battle. Speakers at the ceremony will include Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Reuven Rivlin and Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat.

Culture and Sport Minister Miri Regev said of Jerusalem Day: "Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, is marking 49 years since its reunification. This is the day that we commemorate those who fell in battle to liberate it and give thanks to the heroes who reunited the city.

"We have kept guard along your walls, City of David, and we are still keeping guard. The war for your security is not yet over. We will continue to defend and safeguard you. You will always be our Jerusalem of gold."
There's also a point to be made that Jerusalem doesn't appear in the Koran:
In contrast to the widespread misconception, Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Quran -- not by the name al-Quds, and not by al-Maqdis, as the city is most commonly referred to in Arab literature. This is most surprising, in light of the fact that dozens of passages from the Quran are predicated on stories from the Hebrew Bible and rabbinic literature, where Jerusalem is mentioned countless times. Relatively later on, some Islamic scholars noted that ''Al-Aqsa" ("the farthest") mosque -- from where the Quran says the Prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven -- was located in Jerusalem. [...]

For 1,300 years of Muslim rule in this region, not once was Jerusalem the capital of a caliphate. The Fatimid and Ottoman rulers even chose Ramla as their local capital. In 1845, on the eve of Zionism, only 15,000 people lived in Jerusalem, about half of them Jewish. From 1949 until the Six-Day War in 1967, the Jordanian sovereigns neither made it their capital there nor nurtured it. The Western Wall plaza area, where according to several Islamic scholars Muhammad tethered his mythological horse, Buraq, was in a state of disrepair, used as a garbage dump rather than a holy site for Muslim pilgrims from across the globe.
The only reason why the city is of any importance to Islam is because they're not the ones running it. Why, that's also the reason why some leftists/socialists want it to be forced under sharia again. And that's why we have to remain vigilant and not allow them to have their way.

TURKEY WANTS GERMANY TO CENSOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ARMENIAN HOLOCAUST

Business Insider wrote about how Turkey's threatening Germany over recognition of the Armenian Holocaust, namely, by threatening to stop their refugee deal:
In the latest round of Recep Tayyip Erdogan's milking of the EU-Turkey refugee deal, the Turkish President has now threatened Berlin over the Bundestag's motion to declare the 1915 killing of up to 1.5 million Armenians by Ottoman Turks a "genocide."

Erdogan said the vote would damage relations between the two countries. The fear is that Turkey might abandon the already shaky EU-Turkey deal, in which the EU has agreed to pay Turkey €6 billion (about $6.7 billion), and in return Turkey keeps hundreds of thousands of refugees from the Middle East out of Europe.
It's jizya, and it's also taqqiya. Anybody who thinks Turkey's going to respect their end of the deal to the letter is acting deluded. The EU should be throwing out the infiltrators themselves and invest the money in building walls at their borders to make it harder for the invaders to get in. But they'll probably end up capitulating, and that's terrible.

MUSLIMS IN GERMANY RAPE 18 WOMEN AT CONCERT

The rape epidemic by Muslims in Germany strikes again, this time at a concert site in Darmstadt (Hat tip: Jihad Watch):
A group of asylum seekers sexually assaulted women at a music concert in the German city of Darmstadt, said police.

Three Pakistani men are already under arrest after 18 women filed complaints that they had been improperly touched, fondled and groped during the festival in the city of Darmstadt. Police have said the number of complainants could rise.

Between two and three more men were still being sought by police as victims received counselling and authorities tried to dampen rising tensions against migrants.

All the complainants said they were “surrounded” by their tormentors before being “touched and fondled” improperly at the annual free Schlossgrabenfestes music festival.

The three arrested men are aged between 28 and 31 and are Pakistanis seeking asylum in Germany. All have been charged with sexual crimes as the hunt continues for their accomplices.

Media reports said that at least 15 more women are expected to come forward to file criminal complaints after they were groped at the festival on sunday where around 100,000 people were in the crowds over the four-day event [...]
Absolutely disgusting. Some might say that the Nazis's mentality made it difficult to combat what evil would come in the future. Naturally, there's also the cover-ups of Islamofascism over the years that made it difficult too.

MUSLIM HUSBAND SHOOTS PREGNANCY DOCTOR BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT HIM TO SEE WIFE NAKED

And this took place in Saudi Arabia:
A man who allegedly shot the doctor who delivered his wife's baby may have taken aim because he didn't want the medic to see her naked, it's reported.

The male doctor, named locally as Muhannad al-Zabn, was treated for gunshot wounds after the delivery at the King Fahad hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The man, who has not been named in any media, had reportedly requested a female doctor to treat his wife.

After the birth, it's been reported by Gulf News that the father contacted the doctor to thank him.

But at a meeting in the hospital garden, he allegedly took out a handgun and fired from close range.

Dr al-Zabn was taken to the hospital’s intensive care unit and is understood to be in a stable condition, reports Newsweek.
Say, I wonder where the creep even got the handgun? I'm guessing the House of Saud doesn't have gun control like some US cities do. I guess that doesn't worry gun control advocates unlike in the USA, where they seek to increase crime rates.

IT'S ACTUALLY GOOD THIS ANTI-SEMITE'S TURNING DOWN MONEY

An anti-Israeli British historian rejected a Dan David Prize for easily guessable reasons:
British historian Catherine Hall of University College London has declined the Dan David Prize she was set to receive, citing "political reasons." Hall did not attend the award ceremony held Sunday at Tel Aviv University.

The British Committee for the Universities of Palestine, an organization of U.K.-based academics "set up in response to the Palestinian call for academic boycott," quoted Hall as saying: "I have withdrawn from the prize -- this was an independent political choice, undertaken after many discussions with those who are deeply involved with the politics of Israel-Palestine, but with differing views as to how best to act."

The group lauded Hall's "principles" for "renouncing her share of the $1 million prize, placing principle above financial gain."

Ariel David, whose father Dan David founded the Dan David Foundation, said that the $300,000 in prize money that would have been awarded to Hall will instead go toward funding scholarships for students at the university.
But if the alleged historian had taken the prize money, she probably would've given it to Israel's enemies. That's why I'd advise the foundation not to give her a monetary prize at all. Good they're now using the funding for better purposes.

MAJOR FRENCH BANK NETWORK SHUTS DOWN BDS ACCOUNTS

A leading bank in France has wisely disassociated itself from the BDS movement (Hat tip: The Tower):
The massive French bank Credit Mutuel shut down the account of La Campagne BDS France amid escalating criticism over the illegal practices of supporting financial transactions that target Israel for boycotts.

In a dramatic setback for a large Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement (BDS) group, BDS France removed a link on its donor webpage in May for Credit Mutuel and added a link to PayPal as a method of contribution.

Speaking from Tel Aviv on Wednesday, the Israeli journalist Jean Patrick Grumberg told The Jerusalem Post that according to his source “BDS France used illegal ways to open its account and Credit Mutuel closed it.”
It doesn't shock me if the BDS movements in France used illegal methods to run their accounts and funding. Nobody should donate their hard-earned money to the extremists through PayPal either.

AVIGDOR LIEBERMAN APPEARS WILLING TO JOIN COALITION NOW

Lieberman may have learned a lesson after refusing to join the coalition about a year ago. At the same time, he may have convinced Netanyahu to support death penalties for terrorists:
Coalition negotiations between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Yisrael Beytenu chair Avigdor Liberman were almost completed after Netanyahu agreed to the condition of setting the death penalty for those who commit terror activities.

Members from both parties exchanged a final draft of the agreement on Thursday agreeing on the death penalty, however both have not agreed on the specific conditions.

In a meeting that lasted less than an hour Wednesday afternoon, Liberman accepted Netanyahu’s offer of the defense and immigration and absorption portfolios and support for key Yisrael Beytenu-sponsored legislation.
I'd say Lieberman's doing the right thing to finally join up, after Moshe Yaalon otherwise proved disappointing. The position supporting the death penalty for violent and murderous terrorists is something that will have to be taken up as a deterrant sooner or later, because there's just so many repulsive jihadists out there who have to be sent a message. In the end, the question is whether Lieberman can stand strong on his position.

THE ORIGINAL EAST ENDERS FADE IN LONDON

Almost all of London's East End is becoming a Muslim enclave now while indigenous English leave the neighborhood:
London’s Cockney culture is being driven out of one of its last remaining bastions, Newham in East London, which has seen its white population halved in the last 15 years. The area now has the lowest white population in London leading to pubs and working men’s clubs are closing down and a loss of Christian traditions.

The borough of Newham lies just five miles east of the City of London, banking capital of the world, but locals say it now looks less like a British city, more like Baghdad.

The area was once characterised by its white working class population, mostly cockneys who moved in during the 1800s as dockworkers during an era of unprecedented global trade. But now ethnic minorities make up 76 percent of the borough’s population, making it the most multicultural place in Britain.

“People who haven’t been for many years come out of Upton Park Station and say: ‘I can’t believe what’s happened here, it could be Baghdad,’” says Peter Bell manager of the East Ham Working Men’s Club.

His customers agree. “It’s hard to find somebody who speaks English in Newham,” one says. “We’ve always been a country where immigration plays a part, but not on the scale you find now.

“You go from Aldgate to Barking and there is very few English people left.”

Another says: “The biggest change I think is the pubs shutting, there are so many pubs closing down. Muslims don’t drink, so that’s another major change.”
They could easily have been forced to close by sharia enforcement gangs. And there's modern London for you today, where English culture, whatever you think of it, has been supplanted by Islamists, and even eastern Europeans who immigrated to the UK aren't enough to ensure otherwise. I've got a feeling someday, the UK soap opera on television called EastEnders is going to look very dated indeed, even if it is set in a fictional neighborhood.

A BIG MAJORITY OF ISRAELIS DON'T CONSIDER JUDEA/SAMARIA "OCCUPIED"

For Independence Day, a poll was taken just shortly before that provides wonderful news:
A new polling of Israeli public opinion, published just days ahead of Israel’s Independence Day, shows that the vast majority of citizens understand that the Judea and Samaria region is not “occupied Palestinian land,” and that Israel has a right to assert its full sovereignty over the area.

The monthly Peace Index, published by Israel Democracy Institute’s Guttman Center for Surveys and the Tel Aviv University, said that poll shows an “unequivocal slant of the public’s positions” on the question of whether it is right or not right to define Israel’s presence in Judea and Samaria as an “occupation,” with a large majority of the Israeli Jewish public, 71.5 percent, saying it is not “occupation.”
Now that's encouraging, and spells good news for the future.

WHAT'S IT LIKE IN LONDON NOW THAT A MUSLIM MAYOR WAS ELECTED?

To note that Muslims there are celebrating doesn't even begin to describe all the problems that'll come about. Here's what Pamela Geller has to say, and one of the revelations, if correct, is definitely alarming and telling (via Israpundit):
At the same time, many Jews were prohibited from voting. Even the Chief Rabbi of London was turned away – leading to the Chief Executive of one London borough having to resign. Innumerable voters throughout the London Borough of Barnet – where much of the British Jewish community lives today – were prevented from voting by a suspicious and never-explained “error” at the area’s polling stations.

This is no surprise. Sadiq Khan has shared platforms with Muslim Jew-haters who want to “drown every Israeli Jew in the sea.” According to investigative journalist Soeren Kern: “In 2008, Khan gave a speech at the Global Peace and Unity Conference, an event organized by the Islam Channel, which has been censured repeatedly by British media regulators for extremism. Members of the audience were filmed flying the black flag of jihad while Khan was speaking.”
If Jewish voters could find their right to vote sabotaged, then you can be sure there's non-Jews living in London who experienced the same. Nevertheless, it's clear that quite a few non-Muslims of various backgrounds voted for Khan simultaneously, and have throughly forgotten what jihadism led to in 2005, when at least one public bus and a subway were bombed by terrorists. This is some of the worst defeatism to be found today in Britain.

REMEMBERING THE MANY VICTIMS ON MEMORIAL DAY

Today was Israel's Memorial Day for soldiers fallen in wars, and also victims of terrorism. As noted:
The number of civilians who have been killed in “hostile acts” since the end of the War of Independence is 2,576, Haaretz reported, citing the National Insurance Institute. Some 31 civilians died as a result of terrorist attacks in the last year.
Remembering victims of jihadism is something that had to be done ever since the Oslo accords. Here's more on the Jewish Press about the ceremony at the Western Wall plaza.

US NOT SEEKING DEATH PENALTY FOR BENGHAZI SUSPECT

The US government is showing weakness again in its pursuit of justice in the Benghazi case (Hat tip: The Weekly Standard):
The Justice Department will not seek the death penalty against Ahmed Abu Khattala, the suspected Libyan militant charged in the Benghazi attacks that killed a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans, federal officials announced Tuesday.

The department revealed its decision, which pushes the case forward toward trial, in a brief court filing that offered no additional explanation.

In a separate statement, spokeswoman Emily Pierce said Attorney General Loretta Lynch made the decision after reviewing the case and consulting with federal prosecutors. She said the department is "committed to ensuring that the defendant is held accountable" for the 2012 attacks.
But life imprisonment isn't enough for filth like that terrorist. They're being very weak in their position here, because scum like those Islamofascists are too dangerous to let live. Yet another example of the Obama administration's appointees becoming major disappointments.
