Punditarian has demonstrated how Barack Hussein Obama intends to replace GWB's malapropism with his own brand of megalomania. We are witness to the continuous and general deterioration of our nation's ability to express itself precisely or responsibly - this illness infects the lowest levels of our mass media and the highest levels of our leadership. And unfortunately - style and delivery seem to trump content.
Am I being nostalgic when I wish for leaders who say what they mean and mean what they say - and stand by what they have said - also the day after?
Instead the democratic party provides us with a charismatic, posturing candidate who will do or say anything (or associate or disassociate himself - often both! - with whomever...) to attain power.
The meteoric rise of Barack Husein Obama causes me to pause and ponder: Is he a true American Hero?

Let me tell you I have long dreamed of a race-blind society and do not fear a black or half-black president. In fact while growing up many of my heroes were black. Let us remember some of them: Jackie Robinson broke the color-barrier in Professional Baseball - America's Pastime - and Arthur Ashe brought blacks to Centre Court. It wasn't easy - but no one could deny their ability. I am sure you too can think of many more examples of blacks who rose above prejudice and discrimination.
Admittedly Barack Husein Obama has taken the oratorial style of the pulpit and honed it well to the political scene. His speeches are filled with nonspecific plattitudes that could be employed by politicians of almost any political party. Barack Husein Obama's record is not so impressive. Compared to true american heroes one thing is certain: Barack Husein Obama ain't in their league.
