WHY OBAMA AND THE DEMOCRATS ARE ASHAMED THE EURO-LEFT DOESN'T LIKE US

IN HIS SPEECH YESTERDAY, OBAMA IMPLIES THAT - RIGHT NOW - WE SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO BE AMERICANS WHILE TRAVELING ABROAD.

First, this is a false notion. Half of Old Europe loves us as much now as ever; in fact, Germany and France recently elected PM who are more like Bush than their predecessors.

Second, MOST of NEW EUROPE - the Europe which was once under the thumb of the Union of SOCIALIST Soviet Republics - loves us.

Er... um... if you add 50% of Western Europe to 75% of Eastern Europe you get a MAJORITY of Europe.

(AND DON'T GIVE ME ANY OF THAT POLLS CRAP. The elections show - and bilateral relations prove - that New Europe likes us very much. In fact we will soon be basing NMD in a few nations in New Europe. Much to the ire of the Democrats - who oppose it.)

But I think Obama's comment - and how it consistently reverberates on the left and among our self-avowed enemies - reveals a very interesting and very deep FLAW in the CHARACTER of Leftists and leftie Dems:

Leftists ARE OUTER-DIRECTED.

They care more about what others may feel about them, then adhering to any deep moral principles. They really have no deep principles.

(Take for instance their oft repeated canard I MEAN PRINCIPLE that the Constitution is a "living document": they only mean that when it comes to stuff they don;t like. When it comes to abortion rights, that they KNOW is written in stone!)

Another proof that the Left has no deep principles is the fact that they're moral and cultural relativists. They believe that right and wrong are subjective and contextual, not universal and transcendent. As a result, "HE WHO HAS THE GOLD MAKES THE RULES" is the cynical way they formulate the Golden Rule.

Whoever is weak is being victimized by someone strong who must be weakened to create justice. This is why they have always fallen for socio-economic excuses and rationalizations for criminal behavior - as if poverty created criminality.

WE ON THE RIGHT KNOW THIS IS BS: 30 million poor and honest Americans and ENRON prove the idiocy of this attitude: poor people are as honest as the rich - and as larcenous. Bad people of all classes commit crimes - and we should punish them with no regard for their class, creed, race or anything. IF YOU DO THE CRIME THEN YOU DO THE TIME.

The absence of any universal code is why the Left loves victims and victimhood - because all crimes are situational, and coming to the aid of whomever is best defined as the victim makes the Leftist APPEAR to be GOOD, GREAT & GRACIOUS.

If a mother who murders her children and/or husband can be made to appear to be a victim, then the left will make her a saint.

Right-wingers though are much more INNER-DIRECTED: we take actions which are consistent with deeply and longly held principles - even if they seem unpopular at the time.

This is why Dems like Clinton and Obama care more about focus-groups and polling - and what the Euro-left thinks - than folks like you and me - and even McCain.

BOTTOM-LINE: If you think that the POTUS should do what's right, and not what pleases the most foreigners, then you just should never even think about voting for a Democrat.

Obama's comments prove this.
