911 Families do not want Zohran Mamdani at memorial service

911 Families are speaking out, and rightfully objecting to having NYC's Muslim mayor Zohran Mamdani at the upcoming 911 Memorial service:

Families of 9/11 victims are demanding NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani be banned from the 25th anniversary of the attacks at Ground Zero, branding him an apologist for Islamic terror whose presence would be an insult to the memories of nearly 3,000 people murdered.

“Our objection is based on his public record — his failure to meaningfully acknowledge the horror of that day, and his employment of, support for, or association with individuals who have minimized 9/11, defended terrorists, or even suggested America ‘deserved’ the attacks,” said Giovanni Galante – whose 29-year-old wife Grace Catherine Galante was among 2,977 innocents killed by al-Qaeda terrorists.

Galante, 55, is one of the organizers of a petition drive that has collected over 1,100 signatures in a little over a week, including from at least 300 victims’ families.

Here's a link to the petition, which everybody who recognizes what's wrong with Mamdani should sign. And it's not just him who shouldn't be allowed at the 911 Memorial site and service. It's also anybody who blatantly voted for him to start with. All who voted for Mamdani did a terrible disservice to the victims of al Qaeda, should be ashamed of themselves, and have no business being anywhere near the site.

Some families of 9/11 victims don’t want commie Mayor Zohran Mamdani to attend the annual memorial for the New York City victims of the devastating Islamic jihad attack. And they have very good reasons for their opinion.

The 2026 memorial for the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks is of particular importance, because it will mark exactly 25 years. Naturally, some family members of those who died as a result of Islamic terrorism exactly a quarter century ago do not want an apologist for Islamic terrorism as a featured speaker at the memorial. Mamdani has defended jihadis, publicly joined prayers for killing infidels, appeared at events and mosques with pro-terror radicals, and fueled violent antisemitism. He represents the evil ideology that caused the al-Qaida 9/11 attacks.

That's precisely why he should be shunned. Here's more:

The petition catalogues a series of concerns about Mayor Mamdani, the city's first Muslim mayor, who has been in office since January.

Among them is his refusal to condemn the "globalise the intifada" rallying cry, and his association during last year's mayoral campaign with Imam Siraj Wahhaj - a Brooklyn cleric who was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Petitioners also take issue with his appointment of Ramzi Kassem as the city's chief counsel, noting Kassem previously defended al-Qaeda terrorist Ahmed al-Darbi - who admitted involvement in a 2002 plot to bomb a French oil tanker.

Further grievances include Mayor Mamdani's endorsement of Democratic Socialist of America member Aber Kawas for a state Senate seat, despite her having once characterised the September 11 attacks as something "a couple of people did."

Cheri Sparacio, another organiser whose husband Thomas died in the attacks, said there were "so many other examples" of why his attendance would be "disrespectful" that "we couldn't fit them on the list."

The Staten Island resident pointed to the mayor's longstanding ties to left-wing influencer Hasan Piker, who once said America "deserved" the 2001 attacks.

Mamdani should be denaturalized and deported too, as should all the offenders he associated with. And any 911 Families who speak at the service should publicly condemn him in the sternest terms possible. Mamdani's colleagues, appointees and other associates who uphold evil like he does should also not be allowed at the 911 Memorial service.

The raid on Iran was necessary to prevent a nuclear version of 9-11

Bob Kiffney, a former intel specialist, makes an important case for why the USA/Israel needed to attack Iran and stop its nuclear building:

On Sept. 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 Americans were murdered in the deadliest terrorist attack in our nation’s history. The World Trade Center towers collapsed in Lower Manhattan, the Pentagon was breached, and a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, became a graveyard for heroes who prevented even greater loss. The economic toll exceeded $100 billion. The psychological wound reshaped American life for a generation.

Now imagine those same three targets struck not by hijacked airliners but by nuclear devices.

Many hundreds of thousands—potentially upward of 800,000 in Manhattan alone—would die instantly in fireballs and blast waves. Hundreds of thousands more would suffer horrific burns and radiation poisoning. Firestorms would rage across dense urban cores. The financial heart of the free world would be paralyzed, the seat of American government devastated, and fallout would render swaths of our most populous regions uninhabitable for years. Trillions in economic damage, mass evacuations, overwhelmed hospitals, and a body count dwarfing 9/11 by orders of magnitude would follow.

That is not science fiction. That was the imminent risk a nuclear-armed Iran posed until the United States and Israel launched decisive military action on Feb. 28.

The ongoing war against the Islamic Republic is not the beginning of a conflict. It is the necessary end to one that has raged for 47 years.

He's absolutely correct. Have any of the RINOs opposing war against Iran's autocracy ever considered that? Let's be clear. If ground invasions are needed to put an end to any further horrors in the making, that's what must be done, and it's to be hoped the USA public understands that at this point, and will back the Trump administration on any decision they make in that context.

All these horrors could've been prevented long ago if anybody who actually cared had shown the courage to do so. Yet all these years, in one of the worst examples of history showing we don't learn lessons from the past, the cancer was allowed to metastisize, and regardless of the current situation and outcome, a horrific mess was left that will take ages to clean up. It's very fortunate the USA and Israeli militaries took up what missions they have so far, because sooner or later, wars to stop evil entities are entirely inevitable.

Awful leftist rhetoric still remains in 24th year since 9-11

Juda Honickman wrote about what the sadly murdered Charlie Kirk stood for:

Charlie spoke boldly at a time when boldness often comes with a price. He defended faith, family, and freedom when so many preferred silence. And perhaps most importantly for me, he stood unapologetically with Israel. In a world eager to downplay or dismiss the Jewish people’s right to defend themselves, Charlie refused to bend.

He said it plainly: Israel’s fight is America’s fight, because the forces that want to destroy Israel are the same forces that despise freedom everywhere.

When Hamas terrorists slaughtered innocent Jews on October 7th, Charlie didn’t hide behind the cowardly “both sides” rhetoric that poisoned so much of the media and academia. He called evil by its name. He condemned Hamas with clarity and conviction, and he exposed the hypocrisy of a world that cheered America’s strikes against terror after 9/11 but condemned Israel for daring to defend its own people.

He stood shoulder to shoulder with Israel, and even more than that, shoulder to shoulder with the truth.

That is why his loss cuts so deeply. We didn’t just lose a commentator. We lost a defender. We lost a man who gave courage to countless others simply by refusing to back down. For many of us, Charlie was a reminder that we were not alone in the fight. And now, in his absence, we feel that loneliness all over again.

But here is the reality: Charlie’s death cannot just be a moment of mourning. It must be a moment of decision. It must be a turning point.

On 9/11, nearly 3,000 Americans were murdered. The United States responded with overwhelming force, striking terrorists across oceans and even eliminating leaders in foreign capitals. The world applauded. On October 7th, Jews were slaughtered in their homes. Israel responded by striking those who planned and funded the massacre, including in Doha. And suddenly, many of those same voices who had cheered America condemned Israel. Charlie Kirk had no patience for that hypocrisy, and neither should we.

Now, as America reels from Charlie’s death, we face our own hypocrisy test. Will we honor his memory by standing boldly with truth, or will we retreat into silence and despair? Do we carry forward the torch he lit, or do we allow it to be extinguished?

One of the worst things to occur in the years since 911 is that there's now a whole generation that actually considers the abominable act "justified", so it's not like those Chomskyites actually support the USA's efforts to defend itself against jihadists, and an almost foregone conclusion they never did.

And it's important to remember that the Muslims of Gaza celebrated 911 years before, and October 7, 2023 years later. That's precisely why, aside from the fabricated "ethnicity", they don't deserve to be leaders. Obviously, it's bad that the Hamas has using torture against their subjects. But that still doesn't excuse or absolve any and all who supported barbarism as they did back in late 2001. When are these particular facts going to be taught in schools for a change?

Anyway, condolences again to Kirk's family. What happened in Orem, Utah is absolutely terrible.

Update 2: president Donald Trump announced the FBI now has the Utah assassination culprit in custody. Let's hope so. It remains to be seen what else will be reported about this terrible case.

Update 3: according to this report, the weapons/ammo discovered that the murderer used had transsexual slogans scrawled on them.

Update 4: and now, the culprit has been identified:

The alleged Charlie Kirk assassin now in custody is identified as a 22-year-old Utah resident named Tyler Robinson, according to NBC News. [...]

On Thursday morning, Breitbart News reported that Utah Department of Public Safety (DPS) Commissioner Beau Mason spoke at a press conference and said the shooter “appears to be of college age.” Now a 22-year-old is in custody.

Breitbart News noted that a CNN report indicated the suspect was taken into custody after confessing to his father.

The monster should be thrown into a dark dungeon and put to an end for the repulsive crime he committed.

Many who lived through 911 have since suffered terrible illnesses

As many as 23 years after September 11, 2001, when the jihadist organization al Qaeda destroyed the World Trade Center and murdered nearly 3000 people, there's first responders and civilians from the time who're now suffering illnesses contracted over 2 decades ago during the tragedy:

More than 45,000 people are living with the physical manifestations of the September 11 attacks more than two decades after the tragedy.

At least 45,200 civilians and officers from the FDNY, NYPD and Port Authority of New York and New Jersey are suffering from at least one cancer or disease that has been directly linked to the largest terrorist attack in history.

The whopping total is 1,408% greater than the death toll for the tragedy itself: 2,997 victims were killed in the Twin Tower collapse and aftermath.

The shocking number reflects the amount of victims enrolled in the World Trade Center Health Program with verified illnesses — but because the project only recognizes some cancers and diseases, officials warn the true total of sick survivors is much higher.

Read more. Something tells me even Kamala Harris isn't going to do anything to help those who've survived get the medical attention they need. Harris - as anybody who's a realist and watched the debate between her and Donald Trump may have seen - spent a lot of her time telling lies and falsehoods, and clearly is not qualified to be a president. Why, who knows what more disasters could occur if she does become president?

Schools in Virginia allow opt-out from Holocaust lessons

The school board of Fairfax County, Virginia, is doing something terrible they won't do with LGBT ideology:

Virginia’s largest school district will let students skip a presentation from a Holocaust survivor, saying the diverse district includes students with “different experiences.”

“We understand that all students have different experiences. If you prefer to opt your child out from participating in this presentation, please email your child’s history teacher and they will be provided an alternate assignment. Please email your child’s history teacher with any questions that you may have,” a letter from Cooper Middle School said.

The letter referred to a scheduled presentation from a Holocaust survivor to seventh-graders, according to Adele Scalia, a mother of one of those middle schoolers.

[...] Scalia said on social media that she is drawing “less charitable (but more likely) conclusions.” The Left has been pressured by Islamic extremists to demonize Israel following Hamas’ terrorist attacks on the Jewish nation on October 7, and liberals have used the same language of “colonization” and “oppression” that they apply to whites in the U.S. to Israelis.

“If the email had said ‘We understand that some students are very sensitive and Mrs. X’s stories my be disturbing and traumatizing to them…’ I would have given them the benefit of the doubt. But it didn’t,” Scalia wrote.

Fairfax County contains a hotbed of Muslim extremism. A mosque there, attended by several 9/11 hijackers as well as the Fort Hood terrorist, was presided over by the father of Abrar Omeish, who until this year was a member of the Fairfax County school board. Omeish voted against an FCPS resolution offering a moment of silence for victims of 9/11 and another for victims of October’s Hamas attacks on Israel, said the decisive World War II victor at Iwo Jima was “unfortunate,” and gave a graduation speech encouraging students to “remember your jihad” and reject capitalism.

This definitely says quite a bit, right down to how the manager of a mosque is allowed on the school board, and even desecrated the memory of 9-11 victims. This also makes clear the sad path the USA is regrettably headed on if something isn't done to put a stop to this indoctrination.

The opt-out of the Holocaust lesson in FCPS, whose school board is entirely Democrat, is a reversal from the Left’s position on opt-outs on topics like transgenderism and anti-racism, which typically holds that hard truths are often uncomfortable, that it is the role of a school to instill certain values, and that on some issues, there are not two sides, but only good and evil.

[...] With some people claiming that the Holocaust did not even occur, the lesson is one of the last chances to hear from someone who survived it first-hand, as survivors are perishing of old age.

Prior to the election of Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin, a video promoted by Virginia’s state Department of Education, then presided over by Democrat Atif Qarni, sought to dampen the emotional resonance of 9/11, advising teachers not to call it “terrorism” and to focus on “anti-Muslim racism” while making sure not “to reproduce what’s understood as American exceptionalism.”

This is the most terrible part about Virgina, how, Youngkin's election notwithstanding, there remains a considerable amount of far-left influence, and now it's resulted in a truly awful situation. It's clear Virginia has a serious problem with misogyny, anti-Semitism, and the Religion of Peace is really going to make things awful soon enough. Maybe most grating about the whole matter is that, if LGBT ideology is cleared away from schools in Fairfax, it'll only be due to Muslim influence, not because Judeo-Christians, Hinduists and Buddhists ask for it to stop. That's one of the worst things about "protected class" statuses.

Lessons were not learned from 9-11

Alexander Nussbaum wrote about how no lessons were learned in the 2 decades since 9-11:

A few days ago marked 22 years since 9/11. That horrible event should have been the proverbial wake up call to America, the biblical writing on the wall.

But America didn’t learn. If anything, America learned the wrong thing. Progressives, the woke, “cultural elites,” whatever you want to call them, and the political party now in power despise America, Western civilization, and everything good, such as traditional values. The values that not long ago even the worst hypocrites espoused in public are now considered “hate crimes.”

...little did I know how bad it would be two decades later, underestimating the total madness that would engulf the West and its apparent determination to commit suicide. We saw barbarism on 9/11; today barbarism rules academia, the mainstream media, Hollywood, and the Democrat party.

And it's all dragging the entire world down with it. Some would-be conservatives, even Dubya, have to shoulder some of the blame too, because they never made convincing efforts to defeat the Religion of Peace when they had the chance, and even enabled Islamofascists in Afghanistan to do horrific things while they were there. When double-standards become commonplace, it's not possible to mend the damage. Now, said damage has taken its toll in the worst ways possible.

21 years after 9-11, lessons still unlearned

Bruce Thornton's written about how the elitists running the political store in the USA still learn no lessons from the horrible tragedy on September 11, 2001:

Twenty-one years have passed since the worst terrorist attack ever on American soil, and our foreign policy establishment and ruling elite still have not learned the lessons of that horrendous carnage. The Romans thought even fools could learn from experience, but our credentialed mavens can’t break free of their institutional orthodoxy and narratives. As a consequence, our foreign policy and international relations continue to put our national security at risk.

This misinterpretation of modern Islam’s traditional resistance to infidel hegemony began with the Iranian Revolution, the first of subsequent jihadist attacks on the U.S. that culminated on 9/11. The West filtered that religious revolution through the old ideas of anticolonialism and national self-determination encoded in the Versailles settlement. Barack Obama, in his cringing flattery of Islam during his 2009 Cairo speech, recycled this stale received wisdom, blaming “tensions” between Islam and the West on “colonialism that denied rights and opportunities to many Muslims, and a Cold War in which Muslim-majority countries were too often treated as proxies without regard to their own aspirations.”

[...] Oblivious to this traditional religious imperative, during the Nineties the Clinton administration didn’t take seriously enough the string of al Qaeda’s anti-American rhetoric he backed up with violent attacks on our military and diplomatic personnel. Instead, the Clinton team treated them as criminal matters, or heretical distortions of Islam by renegade Muslims, rather than as salvos in a jihad that climaxed in 9/11.

On the other hand, the George Bush administration, after its swift punishment of the Taliban in Afghanistan and Saddam Hussein in Iraq, changed the goals of those conflicts into a misguided, naïve effort to democratize peoples whose creed and its supreme law, Koranic-based sharia, are incompatible with liberal democracy and its cargo of religious tolerance, sex equality, unalienable rights, and separation of church and state. The latter was particularly myopic, given that, as Karsh writes, Islam “was inextricably linked with the creation of a world empire and its universalism was inherently imperialist. It did not distinguish between temporal and religious powers.” Muhammad could thus “cloak his political ambitions with a religious aura.”

This mistake by Bush’s foreign policy team was in part the fruit of the wrong lessons taken from the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, which arrogantly encouraged the primacy of the Western liberal “rules-based internal order” as the master political paradigm for the whole world. And this hubristic mentality persisted all the way to Joe Biden’s skedaddle from Afghanistan last year, where the U.S. had sponsored seminars on women’s liberation for Afghan males.

Of course, Bush also made clear where he really stands when last year, he used the Memorial service as a cheap excuse to attack Trump, no matter how indirectly, and soiled what should've been a solemn moment. It was most utterly insensitive to 9-11 Families, not to mention victims of the botched Afghanistan withdrawal. And then of course, there's the problem of a liberal guilt mentality that only applies to the west, but not to Islamic forces continuing to occupy countries they captured in the past:

Moreover, whereas the Western colonial powers abandoned colonialism and continue to provide aid to their ex-colonies, Muslims still inhabit and rule most of the territories they conquered centuries ago: all of North Africa, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and Turkey had been Greco-Roman and Judeo-Christian, i.e. proto-Western, for as long as nearly 3000 years before Islam even existed.

Nor is this ancient history: Muslim Turkey still occupies Northern Cyprus, which it invaded and has illegally occupied and colonized since 1974, ethnically cleansing Greek Cypriots; destroying, looting, and vandalizing more than 550 churches; and refusing to this day to inform the Greeks about the fate of over 2000 of their compatriots who disappeared during the invasion. Bullying Israel over its “occupation” of the lands their ancestors inhabited 3000 years ago reveals the West’s shameful sacrifice of history and justice in order to pursue its own economic and ideological interests.

Yes, that's another sad topic to consider. Northern Cyprus continues to remain under Turkish rule, and nobody in the west does anything to reverse it. And back in the USA, who knows what more mistakes will be made, as the elitists continue their own misguided approach to the issues?
