911 Families do not want Zohran Mamdani at memorial service

911 Families are speaking out, and rightfully objecting to having NYC's Muslim mayor Zohran Mamdani at the upcoming 911 Memorial service:

Families of 9/11 victims are demanding NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani be banned from the 25th anniversary of the attacks at Ground Zero, branding him an apologist for Islamic terror whose presence would be an insult to the memories of nearly 3,000 people murdered.

“Our objection is based on his public record — his failure to meaningfully acknowledge the horror of that day, and his employment of, support for, or association with individuals who have minimized 9/11, defended terrorists, or even suggested America ‘deserved’ the attacks,” said Giovanni Galante – whose 29-year-old wife Grace Catherine Galante was among 2,977 innocents killed by al-Qaeda terrorists.

Galante, 55, is one of the organizers of a petition drive that has collected over 1,100 signatures in a little over a week, including from at least 300 victims’ families.

Here's a link to the petition, which everybody who recognizes what's wrong with Mamdani should sign. And it's not just him who shouldn't be allowed at the 911 Memorial site and service. It's also anybody who blatantly voted for him to start with. All who voted for Mamdani did a terrible disservice to the victims of al Qaeda, should be ashamed of themselves, and have no business being anywhere near the site.

The 2026 memorial for the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks is of particular importance, because it will mark exactly 25 years. Naturally, some family members of those who died as a result of Islamic terrorism exactly a quarter century ago do not want an apologist for Islamic terrorism as a featured speaker at the memorial. Mamdani has defended jihadis, publicly joined prayers for killing infidels, appeared at events and mosques with pro-terror radicals, and fueled violent antisemitism. He represents the evil ideology that caused the al-Qaida 9/11 attacks.

That's precisely why he should be shunned. Here's more:

The petition catalogues a series of concerns about Mayor Mamdani, the city's first Muslim mayor, who has been in office since January.

Among them is his refusal to condemn the "globalise the intifada" rallying cry, and his association during last year's mayoral campaign with Imam Siraj Wahhaj - a Brooklyn cleric who was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Petitioners also take issue with his appointment of Ramzi Kassem as the city's chief counsel, noting Kassem previously defended al-Qaeda terrorist Ahmed al-Darbi - who admitted involvement in a 2002 plot to bomb a French oil tanker.

Further grievances include Mayor Mamdani's endorsement of Democratic Socialist of America member Aber Kawas for a state Senate seat, despite her having once characterised the September 11 attacks as something "a couple of people did."

Cheri Sparacio, another organiser whose husband Thomas died in the attacks, said there were "so many other examples" of why his attendance would be "disrespectful" that "we couldn't fit them on the list."

The Staten Island resident pointed to the mayor's longstanding ties to left-wing influencer Hasan Piker, who once said America "deserved" the 2001 attacks.

Mamdani should be denaturalized and deported too, as should all the offenders he associated with. And any 911 Families who speak at the service should publicly condemn him in the sternest terms possible. Mamdani's colleagues, appointees and other associates who uphold evil like he does should also not be allowed at the 911 Memorial service.

2 failed premiers who precipitated October 7, 2023 join forces again

Daniel Greenfield addresses the reteaming of Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid, who both have some responsibilities to shoulder for bringing about October 7, 2023, which most local leftist press outlets won't clearly admit:

The Israeli Left, which controls the media, judiciary and the cultural opinion shapers in that country, obsessively hates Netanyahu, not because of anything the generally mild-mannered and moderate prime minister has actually done (limited market reforms, refusing to make completely excessive commitments when pursuing dead end negotiations with terrorists) but because he symbolizes their inability to take and retain power.

That’s something the Left did to itself by successively alienating every immigrant group, Holocaust survivors, Middle Eastern Jewish refugees, Russian Jews, with their arrogant abuses.

The Israeli Left is unable to win elections outright and Clinton and Epstein pal Ehud Barak remains the last remnant of a time when the Left could win an election (with a lot of help from Bill Clinton.)

Israelis (outside Tel Aviv and a few of the ritzy suburbs) hate the Left so much that it can only hope to win through a coalition of new fake ‘third way’ parties, along with the usual Muslim Brotherhood parties.

The fake ‘third way’ parties usually involve a retired celebrity general, in this case Yashar with Gadi Eisenkot, who stand for absolutely nothing except making the most of their 15 minutes, and some fake reformist third party promising to use ‘common sense’ to fix things which actually carrying out the left’s program.

In this case, it’s a comeback coalition for political losers Yair Lapid and Naftali Bennett. Lapid was a vapid nepo baby celebrity TV show host and Bennett, formerly the post-Netanyahu hope on the right, sold out to careerism so badly that he previously allied with Lapid in an alternating prime ministership that turned over gas fields to Hezbollah and allowed Hamas terrorists disguised as ‘workers’ to roam Israel.

The duo get much of the actual credit for Oct 7 though the media would never dare suggest such a thing since Bennett and Lapid are the only real hope of the Left reclaiming power.

Bennett has shed his ‘right wing’ credentials and is now running as a Silicon Valley style technocrat.

Which was actually rather obvious for years now. Worst, what if the twosome actually do end up winning the election? If they do, it'll be awful.

Theater play about October 7, 2023 will be shown at Kennedy Center

The playwrights who developed a theater show about October 7, 2023 will soon be bringing it to the Kennedy Center, which Donald Trump made efforts to renovate for the better:

Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney, producers of the Breitbart movie My Son Hunter, will soon be bringing their acclaimed play about the horrific October 7 terrorist attacks to the Kennedy Center this year.

“The play, which the New York Post has described as ‘spellbinding… powerful and a sanctuary for truth,’ will be the first controversial play to be performed in the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts since the Trump administration took it over,” said the announcement from Phelim McAleer.

[...] The play ran for six weeks during its 2024 run in New York City and reportedly “required a permanent police presence” due to its sensitive subject matter. Theater Scene called it “incredibly powerful” while Stage and Cinema hailed it as “a snapshot in time, as remembered by eyewitnesses,” insisting that audiences “see what is there in the moment.”

Speaking with Breitbart News prior to its release, writer Phelim McAleer said the world must not forget the tragedy of October 7.

“The progressive elites seem to want the world to forget about October 7 and what happened that day. And they are being successful,” McAleer told Breitbart News in an exclusive statement. We were in Ireland on October 7 and right away. People started talking about the need for a cease-fire and how terrible it was that they were ‘Turning off the electricity in Gaza.’”

“Everyone wanted to move on from October 7 but there would be no War in Gaza if it wasn’t for October 7,” he added.

What was especially disgraceful is how violence was being incited outside a theater by repulsive creeps who obviously didn't want anybody to be informed. The same movements involved doubtlessly oppose any such play about September 11, 2001. Of course, ever since Zohran Mamdani was elected NYC mayor, that's added insult to injury. I'm glad the Kennedy Center's running this play now, as it definitely needs to be run in many more venues, even overseas.

A Holocaust survivor was denied a chance to give a speech at a New York school, because the principal didn't like his messages:

The principal of a Brooklyn middle school created controversy this week by turning down the opportunity to have a Holocaust survivor speak to students.

Mayor Eric Adams said in a statement Thursday that he has met with that survivor, Sami Steigmann, in the past, and that "he is absolutely the right person to speak with kids about the atrocities of the Holocaust."

Last month, a parent in the Boerum Hill section of the borough wrote Arin Rusch, the principal of Middle School 447, asking to bring Steigmann in as a speaker, saying he's "very relatable, especially with youth."

Rusch responded, in part, "We've had Holocaust survivors speak in the past," adding, "It can really help build empathy and counter antisemitism."

However, she also said, "In looking at his website materials, I also don't think that Sami's presentation is right for our public school setting, given his messages around Israel and Palestine. I'd love to explore other possible speakers."

"I wish I was able to talk to her to find out why she feels that way, what is the reason, because just being proud of being Jewish does not disqualify me to be a speaker," Steigmann said.

Based on what the principal brings up, it's clear on the one hand, she buys into the palestine propaganda as an Arab/Islamic state hook, line and sinker, and it wouldn't be shocking if she'd refuse to accept it was all a concoction of the Roman empire in remote times. On the other hand, she doubtless despises Mr. Steigman's respect for the actual country his ancestry originated from, and believes he's not allowed to be proud of his ethnicity. On which note:

On Steigmann's website, aside from two Q&A slides that have the Israeli flag as the backdrop, slide number 57 explains Zionism. One bullet point reads, "No other state would accept Jews before Israel was created, during the time of the Holocaust and beyond."

No doubt, she also opposes anything to do with Zionism, which is just a synonym for patriotism and nationalism. And this is also obviously the Zohran Mamdani effect, even before he's begun his term of office as NYC's first Muslim mayor.

Moshe Spern is the president of United Jewish Teachers.

"There seems to be a movement of separating Jews from Israel and now there seems to be a movement of separating the Holocaust from Jews and separating the Holocaust from Israel," Spern said. "We cannot allow New York City to continue down a path that censors and shuts out Jews for their viewpoints and especially Holocaust survivors."

I would also strongly recommend making a similar case for Armenian historians on Turkey's genocide during WW1, and 911 Families/survivors, who're doubtless censored and blacklisted by many school systems too in New York. Sadly, this is bound to get worse under the incoming Mamdani, and victims of October 7, 2023 could also be blacklisted.

In the meantime, the NY Post notes that without a doubt, Mamdani will also cancel an anti-BDS order issued by outgoing mayor Eric Adams. And while NY governor Kathy Hochul may have distanced herself from Mamdani's positions, it wouldn't be shocking if she took no proper action to prevent him from destroying NYC as he's bound to do soon enough.

How Yitzhak Rabin enabled jihadism to be established at Israel's expense

Amnon Lord writes about how the late left-wing Israeli premier Yitzhak Rabin's "legacy" is not one of "peace":

For three decades, memorial ceremonies and community events commemorating Rabin have drawn their meaning largely from the fact that Benjamin Netanyahu has dominated Israeli politics since his assassination. Some argue that the unspoken "charge" behind the legal campaign against Netanyahu has always been his supposed moral responsibility for Rabin's death, a kind of modern blood libel that reenergized the Left.

Unlike other countries where leaders have been assassinated, in Israel an entire segment of society was blamed collectively. The tragedy is that Rabin's death enshrined the Oslo Accords as a sacred legacy of the Left, while for the Right they symbolized deception and national endangerment. Rabin himself had long resisted the idea of negotiating with the Palestine Liberation Organization. Only two months before the signing ceremony on the White House lawn did he agree to meet Yasser Arafat and accept the PLO as a partner. Until then, he remained committed to the official Washington talks with the joint Jordanian-Palestinian delegation he inherited from Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir.

Many on the Right felt betrayed, that Rabin had concealed his true intentions during the 1992 election campaign. True, he repeatedly ruled out direct talks with the PLO, but he did say publicly that he planned to grant the Palestinians autonomy in the territories within nine months of taking office. That was his policy, not a capitulation to Shimon Peres or Yossi Beilin, except insofar as he later signed that autonomy agreement with Arafat. [...]

But Rabin and his colleagues failed to foresee that the territories handed to the PLO, the Palestinian Authority, would become bases for rocket fire and terrorism. He dismissed warnings from Netanyahu and Ariel Sharon that rockets would one day be launched from Gaza toward Ashkelon. "From Gaza? Impossible," he scoffed.

During that same period, Meretz MK Yossi Sarid declared, "Rabin must be encouraged." And indeed, as Labor shifted leftward, the Israeli Left was already legitimizing contact with Hamas, the terrorist arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. In December 1992, Rabin's government expelled 415 Hamas leaders to southern Lebanon. The move was turned by the Left and by US President Bill Clinton into a propaganda victory for Hamas. Israel was forced to bring the deportees back, and left-wing activists, led by Uri Avnery, protested in solidarity with Hamas in Jerusalem. Avnery later boasted that their campaign had proven that Israel could never again carry out such expulsions.

It's vital to remember that Sharon later turned against his electorate and enabled just what Rabin set out the groundswork for. In contrast to Rabin, Sharon is otherwise not celebrated today, and deservedly so. But this makes clear how Rabin was a bad lot, and he was a disgrace. Some of his actions were also deeply harmful to Americans and Europeans. That he has any kind of a following today is also very sad, as his attack on the Altalena during the 1940s was horrific.

The murderer of Charlie Kirk had a transsexual partner

In the continuing investigation into the murder of Charlie Kirk, it's been discovered the murderer had a transsexual partner:

Charlie Kirk was assassinated Wednesday while answering a question about transgender shooters, and the alleged assassin is a 22-year-old man with a transgender partner. [...]

Now, FOX News’ Brooke Singman is reporting that Robinson “lived with his his transgender partner.”

So in other words, the murderer, Tyler Robinson, was possibly a homosexual man living with another man who pretended to be a woman?!? Ugh. Next thing you know, we'll learn the partner believed in usurping women in the worst ways possible. This is one of the most abominable tragedies to occur in recent history, and has left a wife without her husband, and children without their father. Mr. Robinson must receive severe punishment for his crime, and the LGBT movement should be absolutely ashamed of what they've led to.

Here's Mrs. Kirk's eulogy to her husband:

“I want to thank the millions of people who have shown their love for Charlie here in Phoenix, across America, and worldwide,” Erika said. “I want to thank my husband’s dear friend, Vice President Vance, and his phenomenal wife, Usha, for their love and support. You guys honored my husband so well, bringing him home.”

“I want to thank President Trump and his incredible family for the same. Mr. President, my husband loved you,” Erika continued. “And, he knew that you loved him too. He did. Your friendship was amazing. You supported him so well.”

Again, my condolences to the family.

Since we're on the subject, here's also commentary by Shuvael ben-Gvir, son of the internal security minister in Israel, who once met Kirk:

Shuvael Ben Gvir, the son of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, spoke about the personal meeting he had in the US with the pro-Israeli right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated this week.

He said that the meeting took place during a trip he took before he drafted in an elite IDF unit. “I met Charlie during a trip I took before drafting. I approached him and told him that he was an inspiration for the videos I upload. We started talking and when I told him that I was from Israel, he immediately had a big smile and he replied enthusiastically, “God bless you.”

The young Ben Gvir described how Kirk shared the reasons why he works on his projects and his vision to make America and the world a better place. “I shared with him that I was on a trip before enlisting in the IDF and he was very enthusiastic - even more so when he found out that I was Ben Gvir’s son. I ended the conversation by telling him that he was the future of the US, and I truly believed it.”

Ben-Gvir also said that Kirk made a deep impression on him. "Charlie was 31 years old, eloquent, intelligent, courageous, and above all, willing to sacrifice a lot to achieve his goals. Charlie was a great lover of Israel, and his death is not only a huge loss to the US, but to the entire world. May his memory be blessed."

Amen to that.

110th year since the Armenian Genocide by Turkey's Islamic Ottoman empire

This year marks the 110th since Turkey committed the Armenian Genocide during WW1, a horrifying history that Turkey and even Azerbaijan still won't clearly acknowledge and definitely haven't apologized for:

April 24 marked the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, during which up to 1.5 million Armenians were killed by the Ottman Empire.

Tensions always rise between the Armenians and the modern Turkish government at this time of year, and many Armenians are now taking time during the day to reflect on Azerbaijan’s ethnic cleansing of Armenians from the Nagorno-Karabakh region in late 2023.

Modern historians look upon the events of 1915-1916 as the first of several genocidal events in the 20th Century, while Turkey disputes the allegation that its Ottoman predecessors were attempting to systematically eliminate the Armenian people, as Nazi Germany would later treat the Jews, or the Hutus of Rwanda would treat the Tutsis.

[...] There were numerous international witnesses to these atrocities, including foreign reporters and military officers. Modern Turkish politicians are generally willing to admit that Armenian civilians were killed and abused in great numbers, but they insist there is no documented proof that the Ottoman government was deliberately trying to exterminate the entire Armenian people.

The Armenians say the Ottomans wanted to eliminate them because they were an inconvenient Christian people standing in the way of the Young Turks’ vision for a mighty Turkic empire that would stretch from the Caucasus all the way to China.

[...] Many Armenians today accuse Azerbaijan of ethnic cleansing – eliminating a people by forcibly relocating them, rather than murdering them all – after its military conquest of the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region in 2023.

Nagorno-Karabakh is a swath of territory that fell inside the borders of Azerbaijan after the collapse of the Soviet Union, but most of its inhabitants were ethnic Armenians, who had dwelled in the area they called the “Republic of Artsakh” for centuries, ever since the height of the greater Armenian kingdom.

If the aforementioned Hen Mazzig were really concerned about forced relocation, he would've taken up topics like this, and thrown his support behind the community that really needs backing, here being Armenia's. Instead, he took the side of the savages.

Writing at the Christian Post last Sunday, religious freedom advocate David Curry urged the U.S. government to hold Azerbaijan accountable for abusing Armenians and other Christians, including the ethnic and religious cleansing of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The above columnist is absolutely correct. And it's vital to note that Armenia's current premier has to shoulder blame for much of what's befallen the country lately:

Some in the Armenian diaspora have criticized the government of Armenia for stepping back from its efforts to get the other nations of the world to formally recognize the 1915 genocide, in part because the government believes it is making diplomatic progress with Turkey and Azerbaijan.

In March, Armenian President Nikol Pashinyan told Turkish reporters that obtaining international recognition of the Armenian Genocide “is not among our foreign policy priorities today.” He hinted that insisting on recognition of the event was an obstacle to signing a treaty with Azerbaijan or normalizing relations with Turkey.

So not only did he allow Azerbaijan to take over Arsakh without a genuine fight, he's also selling out on the issue of recognition of a serious issue. This too is very chilling, and Pashinyan doesn't deserve to be a politician.

Here's some more history (via The Daily Wire) of some of the most obscene incidents during tragedy:

While the death toll is in dispute, photographs from the era document some mass killings. Some show Ottoman soldiers posing with severed heads, others with them standing amid skulls in the dirt. The victims are reported to have died in mass burnings and by drowning, torture, gas, poison, disease and starvation. Children were reported to have been loaded into boats, taken out to sea and thrown overboard. Rape, too, was frequently reported.

Just one more reason it's a disgrace anybody lets countries governed by the Religion of Peace off the hook. Of course, CNN is still making things worse by using that line "death toll in dispute". It is most definitely not.

Haredi schools visit Poland's Holocaust memorial sites

For the first time possibly, Haredi schools in Israel are organizing delegations to visit the Holocaust memorial sites in Poland:

Every year, tens of thousands of Israeli students walk through the gates of Nazi death camps and visit former Jewish ghettos. These trips have traditionally been attended primarily by students from the state and state-religious school systems.

Now, for the first time in Israel, an organized delegation of ultra-Orthodox yeshiva students has traveled to Poland. The trip, initiated by the Netzach education network—the ultra-Orthodox division of the Education Ministry—along with the municipalities of Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh, marks a historic shift in the ultra-Orthodox community’s engagement with Holocaust remembrance and collective national memory. Although the participants came from religious high schools rather than traditional Haredi yeshivas that avoid core secular studies, they are still ultra-Orthodox students from Haredi homes.

Rabbi Menachem Bombach, founder of the Natzach network, emphasized the national significance of the trip. “When ultra-Orthodox yeshiva students follow a path that was previously reserved for students in state schools, it symbolizes that the memory of the Holocaust belongs to all of us. The Holocaust did not distinguish between Haredi, religious or secular Jews, and its memory should be shared by everyone.”

Shai Calderon, head of the Education Ministry’s ultra-Orthodox division, echoed this sentiment: “This is an important journey that every young man should experience. Confronting the memory of the Holocaust and connecting to the national story of the Jewish people are essential parts of our Jewish and Israeli identity. This trip allows yeshiva students to become part of the collective memory that unites all segments of Israeli society.”

It's also something women have to study, and there's a vital point to make that women were some of the biggest victims of the National Socialists' tyranny at the time too. Something that certain past Haredi movements refused to attend museums dedicated to the topic based on, and one NYC museum also capitulated to. If this is changing, this trip being made by Haredi schools to Poland is certainly a good start. Let's just hope they recognize the legitimacy of women who were victims, and also those who fought against National Socialists at the time.

Jean-Marie Le Pen dies at 96

The French politician who was sadly one of the most antisemitic creeps of his time has died at age 96:

Jean-Marie Le Pen, the former leader of the French National Front party, presidential candidate, member of the European Parliament, and patriarch of the Le Pen political family dynasty, has died at the age of 96.

A figure who loomed large over French politics over the past five decades, Mr Le Pen was hailed Tuesday by his supporters as a fearless “patriot” and derided by his detractors as a fascist and an antisemite.

Tragically, he was. And despite any claims to the contrary, he wasn't really opposed to Islam any more than Jean-Luc Melanchon was. As a result, his supposed opposition to mass migration was all a sham, and besides, when somebody like that gets chummy with despots like the late Saddam Hussein, something is terribly wrong.

In a moment of historical coincidence, Le Pen’s death was announced on the day that France marked the tenth anniversary of the Islamist attack on the offices of the satirical Charlie Hebdo magazine, in which two Algerian jihadists shot and killed 12 people and injured 11 more in reprisal for the magazine publishing a caricature of Mohammed.

After reiterating his belief that the Holocaust was a “detail” in 2015, the party he founded voted to expel him, and two years later, his daughter Marine Le Pen renamed the party to the National Rally (Rassemblement National) in a bid to distance herself and the party from her father’s legacy. Their relationship never fully recovered after the split.

While he cast the move as politically suicidal, Marine Le Pen has grown the party to the largest in the French parliament. She currently stands as the frontrunner to replace Emmanuel Macron as president of the republic when his second and final term ends in 2027. [...]

Far-left leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon said that “respect for the dignity of the dead and the grief of their loved ones does not erase the right to judge their actions,” accusing Le Pen of spreading “hatred, racism, Islamophobia, and antisemitism.”

Also notice how Melenchon repeats the morally equivalent cliche of blurring the difference between "islamophobia" and antisemitism, which he himself has been just as guilty of. There's just no excuse.

Julian Jackson notes how Jean-Marie Le Pen did little more than poison French/European politics, and unfortunately, he did do only so much to damage efforts to oppose the spread of Islamofascism. I seriously doubt he even wanted to defend Charlie Hebdo's own freedom of speech. He won't be missed, and it's to be hoped his departure will help improve the landscape again one day.

Former Dutch premier who supported antisemitism and Hamas dies of euthanasia

Dries van Agt, one of the worst antisemitic politicians in the Netherlands, and his wife, have both died by ways of euthanasia:

Dries Van Agt, who served as prime minister of the Netherlands from 1977 to 1982, and whom Dutch watchdog groups condemned in recent years as an antisemite, chose to die last Monday with the assistance of a doctor, along with his wife. He was 93.

The double-euthanasia was announced on Sunday, by Van Agt’s organization Rights Forum, which he founded to oppose what the group calls “blind support for Israel” in the Netherlands’ public and political discourse.

[...] Van Agt made the Israeli-Palestinian conflict a major area of interest later in his life and was condemned on several occasions by Jewish and other organizations as an antisemite. Van Agt defended Hamas as well as individual terrorists several times.

In 2008, the former prime minister spoke at a rally featuring a televised address by a Hamas official. As a justice minister in the 1970s, Van Agt cited his "Aryan" roots in explaining his plan to pardon four Nazi war criminals due to health reasons.

In 2022, the former prime minister said that settlers in the West Bank had poisoned a three-year-old Palestinian girl, a charge that B'Tselem, the leading Israeli organization devoted to documenting alleged human rights violations, said it was not aware of. CIDI, the Netherlands' main antisemitism watchdog, called the accusation a blood libel. The Central Jewish Board of the Netherlands declared Van Agt an antisemite in 2017.

The Rights Forum, which Van Agt founded in 2009, lobbies Dutch politicians and representatives to challenge Israeli policy in the UN and International Criminal Court, alleging “violations of international law and human rights in Israel and Palestine,” and naming international law and human rights as its “explicit and consistent reference framework” as an organization. The group accuses Israel of “violat[ing] the fundamental rights of millions of Palestinians in often extremely violent ways, generation after generation.”

The organization has come under criticism from pro-Israel groups such as NGO Monitor, in particular for a pattern of rejecting allegations or definitions of antisemitism that the group deems politicized: in 2023, the group accused the Dutch ambassador to Israel of “going too far” when he called a shooting attack, in which a 21-year-old resident of East Jerusalem killed seven people and wounded two more, antisemitic.

Gee, if this man was going to go out of his way to condone blood libels and support terrorists, it's hard to feel sorry he decided to end his life as he did. But, he's made sure to leave behind a venomous legacy and movement that's carrying on his repulsive practices, and they're sure to cause only so much more damage for years to come.

What took place at the NY Jewish Comics Experience

The JTA/New York Jewish Week covered the new Jewish Comics Experience convention at Manhattan's Jewish History Center:

More than 400 comic book lovers flocked to Manhattan’s Center for Jewish History on Sunday for the first-ever Jewish Comics Experience, a pop culture convention that was billed as the “ultimate comics and pop culture event.”

Some 35 comics creators participated in the inaugural JewCE, including “Sin City” creator Frank Miller and underground comics legend Barbara “Willy” Mendes. Others participating were artists who specialize in depicting Torah stories, creators of Jewish superheroes, autobiographical writers who just happen to be Jewish and non-Jewish authors and artists who create Jewish content.

Seeing that Miller attended this convention, it raises some important and relevant queries: does this mean he's willing to own and defend Holy Terror once again, recalling how 5 years ago, he kowtowed to the far-left by not only expressing regret for conceiving Holy Terror in the first place, he even apologized for condemning the Occupy movement, and added insult to injury by attacking Donald Trump, all in the pages of a paper as anti-Israel as the UK Guardian. And despite the incredibly stupid apology, he was still disinvited from a British convention. It remains to be seen if he's sorry he acted so stupidly now. Otherwise, what's the use of his attending this convention? Lack of courage is exactly what leads to all these tragedies, including 9-11, and even the terrorist attacks in France back in 2015. Similarly, if the convention doesn't have the courage to raise the issue of Islamofascism itself, that'll be a serious weakness.

“It’s high time that Jewish creators are recognized for their contribution to comic culture, a culture that was for the most part created by Jewish people,” JewCE co-founder Fabrice Sapolsky told the New York Jewish Week.

Though the event was planned long before Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel and the subsequent war, the continued violence in the Middle East and its reverberating effects was resonant across the convention. In myriad panel conversations and in one-on-one discussions, the situation in Israel, increased antisemitism across the globe and the acute need for Jewish joy were frequent themes. For many creators and attendees, “showing up” and supporting the Jewish community was at the top of mind, while others noted the camaraderie among individuals who all shared a a love of Jewish culture.

According to Miriam Mora, the co-founder of JewCE and the director of programming at the Center for Jewish History, the difficult moment made a Jewish comic convention more relevant than ever. “Comics are worth paying attention to because there’s no better way to lift up our community and to fight antisemitism than to educate people about Jewish contributions, Jewish identities, Jewish stories than to celebrate them,” she said.

Indie “comix” icon Mendes, best known for the classic comic “It Ain’t Me, Babe,” agreed. “We just need people to know how wonderful we are because there’s a lot of propaganda out there that we’re terrible,” she told the New York Jewish Week. “We need to counteract that with proof that Jews are wonderful, and that’s what this is all about — and that’s why I’m so happy to be part of the convention.”

On this, those attending did the right thing. After such a horrifying bloodbath that the Hamas jihadists committed, it's vital to convey a message of solidarity with the Jewish people, and uphold the memories of famous creators like Siegel/Shuster/Lee/Kirby. However, this convention, unfortunately, has traces of PC to be found in the coverage, if anything:

The history of Jews and comics is a long and rich one, beginning with the earliest comic book creators — nearly all Jews — to the continued presence of Jewish stories in both popular comics and more esoteric ones. For example, Marvel briefly had a Jewish Black Panther character, while, more recently, author Yehudi Mercato drew upon his Mexican-Jewish family for his middle-grade graphic memoir, “Chunky.” Meanwhile, some traditional Jewish texts have gotten the graphic novel treatment, including Mendes’ recent takes on the weekly Torah portion. [...]

That creativity was on full display Sunday as creators spoke at panels such as “Jewish Folklore in Comics,” “Queering Jewish Comics” and “Getting Past Ashkenormativity and Secularism in Comics.” Jewish publishers sold a variety of books and individual creators signed their work and mingled with fans. One table was run by the mother of a writer of a Holocaust education comic who couldn’t make the trip from Los Angeles.

It's regrettable they've continued sugarcoating BP material that builds on some atrocious storytelling, right down to Ta-Nehisi Coates' own propaganda. And Coates is one of the worst far-leftists to ever be welcomed into the entertainment industry. If he could speak as abusively as he did about 9-11, there's no telling what he could say about Jews. I wouldn't want to own any of his comics based on what a far-left ideologue he happens to be. And that part about "queering" is quite telling on its own. It echoes what only so many far-leftists have been pushing and indoctrinating at schools, even going so far as to distort the Bible with it. Does that sit well with them?

Now since we're on the subject, The Forward followed up on the news about Arnon Shorr and Joshua Edelglass's Brother's Keeper. I hope this GN's been highlighted at the convention, because, as noted again by the Forward:

“One of my friends pointed at the screen and he said, ‘We need this. We need this now. We need this yesterday,’” Shorr recalled. “I was too close to it, I think, to see it or to recognize it,” he said. But his friend helped him realize that “this is a reminder that we’ve been here before and we’ve survived this before.”

As Edelglass kept pace with the drawings and Tomić with the colors, Shorr tried to figure out how to make the book widely available sooner rather than later. They’d bring copies to JewCE as planned, but they also made the comic available to order in hard copy online and to purchase as an e-book. Shorr is also working with his parents to translate the story into Hebrew and is looking into options for sharing Brother’s Keeper in Israel. [...]

But sitting down to draw night after night in the days and weeks following Oct. 7 was therapeutic for Edelglass. “The story moves from battle and turmoil to great hope,” Edelglass said. And he and Shorr hope it can be a source of comfort and hope for readers as well.

Let's hope it'll be translated into Hebrew, and practically as many other languages as possible; everyone and anyone the world over who's a realist needs to know this kind of history. And again, let's hope the convention at Manhattan's History Center stands solidly by it. That said, it's still a shame said convention is pushing leftist propaganda, and the JTA once again sugarcoated how the Jewish Black Panther was crafted.

A history comic whose subject is even more relevant today

Arnon Shorr, a screenwriter and author originally from Haifa, wrote a column for Jewish Boston telling about a graphic novel he developed about Israel's war of indepdence in 1948, discussing how the armies of the Arab Legion attacked the country, and points out that, in the aftermath of the horrific jihad bloodbath the Hamas committed on October 7, it's even more relevant a subject than ever. The title of the GN he's publishing is "Brother's Keeper":

It sat on a hard drive for several years, until this summer, when an opportunity arose to collaborate once more with Joshua M. Edelglass, the illustrator of “José and the Pirate Captain Toledano.” I shared several story ideas with Josh, who immediately gravitated toward “Brother’s Keeper.” We decided we’d work together to reimagine the story as a single-issue (or “one-off”) comic book. The goal was to have something ready to debut in mid-November, at the Jewish Comics Experience, a new and exciting convention of Jewish comics at the Center for Jewish History in New York. So, in August, with only a few months to get the job done, I began to write.

I went back to old interviews that my uncle Yoav had recorded. My grandfather’s accounts of the battle and its aftermath are riveting, and revealed surprising details that I had forgotten over the years. I also found this very detailed description of the battle. I drew from every account that I could find to create a composite representation of this small piece of that old war. [...]

Ramat Rachel is a small kibbutz on a strategically significant hilltop just south of Jerusalem. In 1948, its residents found themselves surrounded on three sides by three very powerful Arab armies. The Egyptian army approached from the west, the Arab Legion came up from the south, and the Jordanian army, along with local Arab fighters, applied pressure from the east. They all wanted to drive the Jews out so they could attack Jerusalem from this high ground.

My grandfather was sent to help defend this kibbutz, and when that appeared impossible, he oversaw the evacuation and retreat.

When I wrote these scenes, they were fascinating pieces of history. It was hard to imagine an army attacking a kibbutz, with bullets and artillery shattering the bucolic quiet.

And then I was confronted by the grim horrors of Oct. 7, 2023.

What I wrote as history had suddenly become current events. A terrorist army rampaging through Israel, attacking kibbutzim along the Gaza border. Residents, once again, forced to flee.

The book was already written, and Josh was working hard on the illustrations. For him, the experience was even more surreal. He was drawing an attack on a kibbutz while watching one unfold on the news.

Initially, all of this seemed like a horrible coincidence. “Brother’s Keeper” is supposed to be historical. It’s supposed to reflect on something that happened a long, long ago. Never in my darkest nightmares did I imagine that it would become contemporary again.

And yet, here we are.

We continued our work on the book. With the Jewish comics convention about a month away, we had some hard print deadlines to meet.

But I felt as though the book we were working on had fundamentally changed. I wasn’t sure exactly how, but it seemed suddenly more significant. A friend who stopped by for coffee one morning was able to articulate what I couldn’t. When he saw a few of the illustrations, he declared, “We need this. Now!”

He went on to explain: Most of us weren’t born the last time a kibbutz was attacked. Many of our parents weren’t born yet, either. Part of the pain of the Oct. 7 attacks was that we had never experienced anything like it before.

Then my friend pointed at the illustrations I had shown him. He said, “But we have been through this before. We’ve survived this before.”

The moment he pointed that out, I realized that my grandfather’s story was no longer “just a story from a war.” It suddenly had meaning.

It wasn’t the meaning I intended. It certainly couldn’t have been my grandfather’s meaning. How could we have imagined we’d need such a reminder again?

And yet, there it is.

My grandfather, surviving an attack on a kibbutz in 1948, reminds us of what we can overcome in 2023.

Josh and I had no plans for an immediate wide release of this comic book. We expected to print a bunch of copies to sell at the convention, and then to figure out a release plan from there.

But now, the story carries a new, urgent purpose. We are working very hard to make the book available as broadly as possible when it debuts in New York on Nov. 12, 2023.

The guy's doing the right thing to raise the issue at a time when a horrifying incident struck Israel anew. Surely most important, however, is that the publishers and the conventions had better make absolutely certain they stand by his production rock solid, and not cower in the face of any threats that could be made against them by antisemitic sources. The same could be said regarding comics and GNs discussing September 11, 2001.

I'm very glad Mr. Shorr made the effort to develop a GN like this. There's been far too much censorship of subjects involving Islamofascism ever since 9-11, and that includes subjects involving Israel. The time's come for more of all concerned to prove they have the guts to produce comics tackling these vital issues and focus upon them convincingly. For now, let's hope the aforementioned convention along with the publishers are going to stand by Mr. Shorr from A to Z.

PLO is destroying Israeli heritage

The regional council of Gush Etzion warns the PLO's destroying antiquities in the Judean desert:

The Gush Etzion Regional Council, along with the "Shomrim al Ha'Netzach" (Keepers of the Eternal) organization, on Thursday said that in addition to the illegal construction and the permanent damage being done to the Judean Desert, the PA is also destroying archeological sites, where antiquities from various periods were found, including from the Iron Age – or the times of the First Temple.

According to Gush Etzion sources, the area has never been studied in depth, aside from a number of preliminary surveys. About 40 years ago, Professor Yizhar Hirschfeld conducted a survey in which diverse archaeological findings were discovered, including various buildings from the Byzantine period, agricultural structures from the First Temple period, and ancient graves from prehistoric periods. In addition, several roads passed through the area which were important in ancient times, and which were severely affected by the illegal development taking place.

Researchers say that the construction seriously harms the ability of scientists to understand important parts of world history that took place in the Judean desert, which was an integral passage between the Land of Israel and neighboring countries.

Naftali Bennett, along with Yair Lapid, have considerable blame to shoulder for leading to this horrible situation locally, after the former performed a coup détat in the past 2 years. Now, we're bound to have a whole fiasco destroying morale upon us as a result of all this corruption.

Kenya president visits Israel and the Western Wall

Kenya's president, William Ruto, visited Israel this week, and also paid a visit to the Western Wall at the Jerusalem Old City region:

The President of the Republic of Kenya William Ruto visited the Western Wall while in Israel.

"Despite the difficulties in the world, I am very happy to visit the Holy Land of Israel. It is a great privilege,” Ruth said.

Ruto and his wife, together with a large delegation from Kenya, visited and prayed at the Western Wall.

The President and the delegation were greeted by the director of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, Mordechai Eliav, who presented fascinating findings from the Western Wall Tunnels and explained the connection of the Jewish people to Jerusalem and its yearning for it throughout the generations.

The President was very moved by the visit and was interested in the history of the site and of the Jewish people. Ruto said a personal prayer for a long time and placed a note between the stones of the Western Wall.

At the end of the visit, Ruto signed the guestbook: "May G-d bless the people and the State of Israel. Humanity should never face the isolation and prejudices against our brothers and sisters of the Jewish nation. That we shall be united as a people in peace as one people under G-d.”

The guy makes excellent points, and it's great to have him visit.

Those Jewish groups who push the US government to pressure Israel should be avoided

Irit Tratt's raised an issue that may be overlooked, of doubtlessly leftist Jewish movements who've pushed for the US government to pressure Israel for all the wrong reasons:

On Feb. 27, Israeli-American Elan Ganeles was fatally shot by Palestinian terrorists while driving by the town of Jericho on the way to a friend’s wedding. The horrific murder followed a tragic month in Israel during which 14 lives were lost to Palestinian terrorism.

After the attacks, American officials, including U.S. President Joe Biden and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Thomas Nides phoned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or issued expressions of “deep condolences” to the victims’ families.

While expressions of sympathy are a reassuring indicator of a stable alliance, there has also been a torrent of American criticism on a host of issues ranging from Israel’s strategy on Ukraine to internal Israeli debates over judicial reform.

The Biden administration’s pivot away from Israel became clear last month when the U.S. backed a U.N. Security Council statement condemning Israel’s legalization of nine “settlements” in Judea and Samaria.

Little attention has been paid to the Jewish leaders who are abetting this change in U.S. policy. It remains expedient to blame politicians for this shift but, in fact, American Jewish institutions have fostered an atmosphere favorable to cooling U.S.-Israel relations for decades.

In his 1998 article “Netanyahu and American Jews,” Jonathan Broder described a White House state dinner that took place the previous year honoring Israel’s then-President Ezer Weizman. Among those invited were ten senior representatives from U.S. Jewish organizations.

The article stated that President Bill Clinton went around the room and asked each Jewish dignitary if they agreed with the conclusions of a poll conducted by the Israel Policy Forum (IPF) that showed 84% of American Jews surveyed “favored U.S. pressure on both Israel and the Palestinians to save the faltering Middle East peace process.”

To Clinton’s surprise, the Jewish organizational leaders expressed unanimous agreement with the IPF study and rejected any attempt to dispute its findings.

Moreover, not one Jewish attendee spoke favorably of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This left the task to Clinton, who suggested that Israel’s cabinet, rather than Netanyahu, was causing an impasse in the peace process.

While the organizations' attitude towards Israel is obviously bad, Clinton was still reprehensible in his own approach, considering he pushed through some very bad demands of his own, had a lenient view of Islam, and of course, let's not forget his record of sexual abuse allegations. Based on that, one must wonder if he really did find it surprising the Jewish organizations in question were hostile to Israel.

But that told, of course these organizations are a most repulsive lot, and no decent person should have anything to do with them. That's the vital lesson to consider in this whole affair, a tragedy that's been caused by people who've been taught to otherwise reject their heritage and history. Worst, they're sympathetic to Islamofascism, and that's one more reason why they should be avoided.

Anne Frank's memory desecrated by the woke Twitter mob

And what next, will they attack 9-11 Families? Here's some sad news (via The American Thinker) on a truly disgusting case found on Twitter of antisemitism leveled against one of the most notable victims of the WW2 Holocaust:

Anne Frank trended on Twitter on Sunday as users on the social media platform debated whether the Holocaust victim was a beneficiary of 'white privilege,' advantages that society supposedly bestows on those who are racially white.

"Anne Frank had white privilege," said one Twitter user. "Bad things happen to people with white privilege also but don't tell the whites that."

"Yes, all white people are safe," said another commenter. "No one is saying the Nazis didn't target white people, just that white people can hide behind their whiteness, whereas in Nazi USA black people can't. Go tell black people the wites got it hard."

[...] "I cannot believe I log on to Twitter this morning and see Leftists unironically debating whether or not Anne Frank had white privilege," said Republican Texas congressional candidate Irene Armendariz-Jackson.

Unfortunately, this is what the modern left-wing has degenerated into, acting along the way as though National Socialists never persecuted blacks and Asians too. Though it does demonstrate what a monumental embarrassment Twitter has become in over a decade. Just sad.

New cartoon based on King David could be laced with PC

The Jerusalem Post tells of an animated film in the works based on biblical king David, produced by a south African animation studio called Sunrise (apparently not the same as the Japanese studio of a similar name), but there's suggestions this could all be a most politically correct development indeed:

An animated feature film on the life of King David, called David, is currently in production in South Africa, and its producer, Phil Cunningham, visited Jerusalem last week to research the film.

“We are aiming for the quality to be the same as Disney or Pixar or Dreamworks Films,” he said. “We’ve done a lot of research trips to Israel; we’ve been on four trips prior to this one to make sure it’s deeply authentic.”

And here's surely a beginning point of contention, or a sign of the mistakes about to be made: Disney and their Pixar affiliate are going off the deep end today in wokeness, and Dreamworks was originally co-founded by ultra-leftist Steven Spielberg, who himself has long lost the talent he used to have, as his most recent film, a needless remake of West Side Story, made clear. To say you're going to make your cartoon similar to what men like Spielberg specialized in doesn't inspire much confidence, mainly because he watered down Prince of Egypt a quarter century ago to appease anti-Israeli Islamists (yet it was barred for screening in most Muslim countries anyway), mainly by not depicting the ancient Israelites returning to their country. Yet that's the very film they seem to be taking their cue from here:

The obvious model for an animated biblical feature like this is the 1998 The Prince of Egypt, but there has not been another such high-profile Bible-based animated film in the intervening years.

“We are really leaning into the authenticity and we want the project both visually and in every other way, to be as authentic as possible and grounded in history and to be as accurate as possible,” Cunningham said. “But at the same time, we want it to be highly entertaining and accessible to the whole world.”

But what if they're not, considering the Dreamworks-produced cartoon was hardly the best rendition itself? These filmmakers say things, but only the finished product convinces, or doesn't.

One of the ways Cunningham and his team will make it authentic is in the voice cast. “We’re going to make sure we only cast people of Israeli origin” in the appropriate roles in the movie, he said.

And this, I think, is silly wokeness to boot. It may be one thing to hire people with foreign accents, but it's not like they have to be Israeli per se in order to provide an aura of authenticity. As though it weren't bad enough the Simpsons resorted to this PC approach in the past few years. I don't think this is a good idea either.

Cunningham has assembled a team that includes Pixar and Disney alumni, such as Nathan Stanton, who is head of story of David and who has worked on such Pixar classics as Toy Story 2 and Finding Nemo. Brent Dawes, the leading writer and director at Sunrise, is directing the film.

Oh, and what if it turns out former employees of these studios are little different from the SJWs running the stores today? Somehow, the recruitment of folks from these 2 companies doesn't make me feel encouraged or inspire confidence. Honestly, I think in the end, the Bible is best left to the books, because with all the PC running amok these days, there's little chance it'll be done justice.

"West Bank" has to stop being used as a PC substitute for Judea/Samaria

Here's an important statement made by Victor Sharpe why all this contrivance of an Arab/Islamic people called "palestinians" has to cease:

When did it become an accepted truism that peace between Israel and the Arabs who call themselves Palestinians requires that Israel give to them its very own Biblical birthright in the Jewish heartland? When did the Oslo Accords supersede the eternal possession of the Jewish people to that God-given heartland of Judea and Samaria, the territory a hostile world insists on calling by its illegitimate Jordanian name; the West Bank?

Who are they who dare divide the land that the Almighty bequeathed to Abraham and to his descendants through Isaac and Jacob? Who are they who would give any part of tiny Eretz Yisrael (the Land of Israel) to the alleged descendants of Ishmael, who possess vast territories throughout the Middle East and North Africa?

Judeophobes (aka Anti-Semites) may not like being told this, but the following facts are truths that cannot shrivel away.

Unlike the deeply appreciated last incumbent of the White House, President Donald J. Trump, too many previous U.S. presidents displayed pro-Muslim Arab policies, which created clear and present dangers to the very existence of the reborn Jewish state. It is thus with the present Democrat president, Joe Biden. He, like his malign handlers, should take note of Genesis 12:3.

Also vital to note:

Jewish communities are not inhabited by alien “settlers.” The Jewish population of Judea and Samaria inhabit and redeem their own ancient and ancestral land. These men and women and children are not “settlers” in what is already theirs by virtue of millennial historical and spiritual attachment. Indeed, many present-day Jewish villages, especially throughout Judea and Samaria, are built upon the very Biblical Jewish sites which existed millennia ago. On the Golan, for instance, numerous sites abound where ancient synagogues existed over two thousand years ago.

I personally consider it anathema to describe Jewish communities in the Biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria with the odious term, “settlements.” For too many Israelis, as well as pro-Israelis, to continue calling them “settlements” without thinking is almost as if they have resigned themselves to demeaning ancestral and Biblical Jewish history. This is the linguistic terminology used by rank anti-Semites and those who peddle anti-Israel hatred and should never be used by Israelis or defenders of the Jewish state.

And this too is something that's got to cease in wider media: they have to stop calling them "settlements" and "settlers". The demand for this has practically got to be made that something has to change for the better here.

New documentary appears to be a fishy apology for Islam, involving 1973 incident from NYC

There's a new documentary out called "Hold Your Fire", focused on an incident involving a hostage situation in 1973 and the following gushy review suggests it may be a whitewash of Islam:

“Hold Your Fire” uncovers the untold story behind the longest hostage siege in New York Police Department history that also became the origin story of modern hostage negotiation. Director Stefan Forbes’ “Rashomon”-esque examination of policing in America, told from a triad of conflicting perspectives, arrives as the country finds itself amid a relitigating of the historically volatile relationship between police and African American communities.

In January 1973, a fatal 47 hours at John and Al’s Sporting Goods store in Brooklyn began when four young Black men — Shuaib Raheem, Salih Abdullah, Dawud Rahman, and Yusef Almussidig — were cornered by the NYPD after they attempted to steal guns and ammunition. The four men took hostages, a gun battle ensued, and soon police officer Stephen Gilroy lay dead on the sidewalk.

[...] Journalists did misreport that the young Muslim men were members of the Black Liberation Army, an anarchist organization with a goal of armed war against the United States government. In truth, they were comprised of a transit worker (Raheem); a college student (Rahman); a TV repairman (Abdullah); and a carpenter (Almussidig). “Four squares,” as Raheem says in the film.

Forbes’ documentary reveals a more complex background. Earlier that month, seven Muslims were brutally executed in a Washington, DC home owned by former professional basketball player Kareem Abdul Jabbar. The target was Hamaas Abdul Khaalis, leader of the Sunni Islamist Hanafi Movement, who wrote letters highly critical of Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad. The murders brought attention to the armed conflict between Sunni Muslims and NOI Muslims.

Raheem, a Sunni who also challenged NOI ideology, was convinced that he was also a target and an assault was imminent. That led him, along with his Muslim brothers, to John and Al’s Sports for a gun and ammunitions heist to protect themselves.

And I'm wondering why it's made to sound as though robbing firearms from a store was acceptable, rather than seek police protection and testify against NOI? So, it's troubling there seems to be an apologist lens this history is being told through by the press. Yet that's long been par for the course over the past 20 years and more. And for all we know, this documentary could also be an insult to law enforcement too. One more reason why it'd be better for realists to avoid this production.

European publishers self-censor and capitulate on Islam

Giulio Meotti's written about the terrible state of modern censorship on the issues of Islam, much worse than it was when Salman Rushdie wrote the Satanic Verses:

When Salman Rushdie published The Satanic Verses in 1989, Viking Penguin, the British and American publisher of the novel, was subjected to daily threats from Islamists. As Daniel Pipes wrote, the London office resembled "a battlefield", with police on guard, metal detectors and an escort for visitors. At the New York office, trained dogs sniffed mail packages and the offices were called a "sensitive place."

Many bookstores were attacked and many others refused to sell the book. Viking spent three million dollars on security measures, but it never faltered. Today, Western publishers all self-censor. And London capitulates to intimidation.

A popular children's book from the Biff, Chip, and Kipper series has just been retired following complaints that its portrayal of the Muslim people was racist, the Telegraph said. Oxford University Press is the publisher of The Blue Eye, in which young characters are transported to a foreign land with the help of a magic key. Children gather at a busy street market, which appears to be somewhere in the Middle East, where men are wearing white turbans and a woman is dressed in a niqab. The publisher said: "The book has been completely withdrawn from print and we have destroyed our remaining stock of the book, although a small number of copies may still remain in the supply chain. Some older titles may still be available in bookstores or as second-hand copies."

Sadly, it makes sense that wokism's come from leftist USA institutions, and now, it's resulted over the years in a tragedy where only so many challenging issues are shunned by publishers and even film studios and such because it doesn't meet their modern standards of political correctness. It's one of the leading reasons why modern literature and entertainment is in such a dire, bankrupt state. That aside, any publisher who doesn't have the courage any more than the resources to deal with all these issues has no business working in book publishing. The query now is, will conservatives be willing to show the courage to work on what leftist outfits aren't?
