A Palestinian terrorist was indicted in a Jerusalem court on Thursday for stabbing a security guard outside the capital’s central bus station earlier this month.Last I heard, the guard's health was improving, though he's still in the hospital. The terrorist, on the other hand, should have his legs broken and put in a wheelchair to make him less of a threat. Yes, seriously, that's the kind of punishment these savages should receive.
He was charged with “a terrorist act of attempted murder” and entering Israel illegally.
According to the charge sheet, on the morning of December 10, 24-year-old Yasin Abu al-Qar’a “said goodbye to his loved ones on the phone,” purchased a knife and illegally traveled to Israel in order to carry out a terror attack in response to US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the Israel of capital.
After hearing the announcement, “the defendant planned to stab as many Jews as possible until he was killed and turned into a martyr,” the indictment read.
The Shin Bet security service blamed “the incitement on the internet following the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital,” saying it contributing to al-Qar’a’s decision to carry out the attack.
The night beforehand, he posted on Facebook: “In your path, O homeland, O Jerusalem, O Al Aqsa, our blood is cheap.”
"ALL CAPS IN DEFENSE OF LIBERTY IS NO VICE."

Muslim slasher at Jerusalem central bus station indicted
The terrorist who stabbed a guard at the central bus station in Jerusalem has been indicted:
Another Muslim "comics writer" who wants more Muslim superheroes
Vice's Motherboard section paid lip service to another Islamist who believes there just have to be more Muslim superheroes and such in comic books, while giving ethnicities and nationalities a pass:
That said, it turns out the propagandist in Canada isn't so impressed with Dust, despite how it otherwise does serve a propaganda purpose:
No, but the creation, such as it was, otherwise excused Islam by depicting Dust as observant and viewing the religion positively, and characterizing her as wearing her niqab because she doesn't want men to see her, and not because the Taliban wanted it. Oh, and this picture demonstrates that they did depict Dust sans niqab, something not all Islamists would appreciate.
And on this note, let me make clear that, while I do think it's regrettable Van Sciver's had problems with SJWs and/or ultra-leftists, I don't think his participation in developing Islamic/leftist propaganda can be excused so easily, unless maybe he's willing to apologize and admit he made a mistake. What his recent run-ins with the left demonstrate is that, no matter how much he may participate in developing propaganda the left upholds, it won't guarantee they'll respect him by any stretch. In fact, save for maybe a few issues he drew of Impulse early in his career, there isn't much else in his resume I find appealing. I certainly have no interest in the Green Lantern books he drew for Geoff Johns, who created the Baz character and laced with leftist propaganda from the get-go. Maybe if Van Sciver would consider taking his talents to a smaller company with more respectable writers involved, and offering his services there, I could consider. But not as things stand now, unfortunately.
When Safiyya Hosein, an avid reader and comics writer, started to get frustrated with how Muslim characters are represented in fictional stories, she decided to help change the narrative. We've heard that before, even as both Marvel and DC alike already pandered to the demands of whiners like her.
Hosein’s study is mainly centered around depictions of two Marvel Comics heroes: Dust from the X-Men series, who wears a niqab and can turn into living sand, and Ms. Marvel, a Muslim Pakistani-American shapeshifter. She recruited 10 participants between the ages of 18 to 28, mostly around Ryerson’s Toronto campus, through flyers and talks in classes. She showed them a presentation about the two heroes, and interviewed them about their perceptions.Ah, now on this, there's some very irritating background to Dust's creation. Ethan Van Sciver, the purported conservative, served as the artist on New X-Men #133, where she debuted. An early product of Marvel's own social justice machine, and of leftist Grant Morrison, and decidedly an embarrassment upon Van Sciver's resume. I gotta wonder, does Van Sciver have any regrets about participating in propaganda that's hurtful to victims of Islamofascism, not the least being Muslim women themselves? Interestingly, Dust/Sooraya Qadir hasn't appeared wearing a niqab at all times, and her identity therefore is known, but even so, if anybody involved in that propaganda and SJW mishmash at Marvel was trying to make it seem as though Muslim women haven't ever been oppressed by their own men in any way, then they only made the situation worse.
Hosein said that most of her participants really connected with Ms. Marvel, who is presented as a typical down-to-Earth teenager from New Jersey and addresses themes of identity and religion. Then how come they're not buying it? My guess is that even Canadians couldn't stomach the political propaganda virtually the entire series is built around, and that's why it ultimately bored so many in slumberland.
That said, it turns out the propagandist in Canada isn't so impressed with Dust, despite how it otherwise does serve a propaganda purpose:
Dust, on the other hand, represents a more tokenized Muslim identity that isn’t well represented, Hosein said—most of her participants didn’t find her relatable either. She thinks her depiction is orientalist, which shows in the fact that her powers are directly related to sand and deserts.
She chose to focus on Muslim women because they’re depicted in a lot of stories as needing to be saved from oppression. In Dust’s comic debut, she is saved from the Taliban by Wolverine while unconscious. “There was always a fascination with Muslim women in popular culture as oppressed,” Hosein told me.
Hosein thinks that when creators aren’t familiar with the community they’re writing about, it’s more likely that that representation will be inaccurate or stereotypical: “There's never been a Muslim that's been [Dust’s] creator, and it shows,” Hosein said.
Ms. Marvel, on the other hand, is co-created and written by Muslim women, which she said has caused the character to be written in a much more sensitive and realistic way. Still, Hosein points out that though Ms. Marvel’s stories address stereotyping of people of colour in general, they haven’t directly addressed the everyday Islamophobia that American Muslims face. “Ms. Marvel is an American superhero at the end of the day, so why don't we see her address this reality that so many Muslims live with and live in fear of?” she saidThat's odd, I thought they did. If anything, in one of the first issues, an "infidel" plays a joke of giving her food to eat or drink mixed with non-halal alcohol, and typical white Americans were portrayed pretty negatively. And the election issue certainly came close to serving the kind of leftist propaganda people like her condone. I guess that basically confirms how SJWs won't be satisfied either way. The propagandist at Vice also points to something she's condoning at DC:
If she had the chance, Hosein would want to further study the representation of Muslim men, who are often depicted as violent and uncivilised—though there are some exceptions, like the Green Lantern Simon Baz. Even in these stories of female Muslims being freed from oppression, the underlying message is that they’re freeing themselves from oppressive men: “When you think about that, what does that say about Muslim men?” she said.Yep, as I figured, there are Islamists out there who'd consider Simon Baz a character who represents their beliefs in some way or other. But what she misses, deliberately or otherwise, is that in stories like the New X-Men propaganda brewed up by early SJWs, the religion itself isn't actually described negatively. Rather, it follows the narrative compounded by Dubya that a "great religion was hijacked".

Justice League #34 may feature Islamic terrorists, but still does enough to dampen the topic
Now here's something where veteran Christopher Priest almost succeeds in offering bold subject matter within the pages of the current Justice League volume, but there's still elements in here that take away impact, and do a disfavor to Wonder Woman in the process. For example, let's take a look at the picture below:
So two jihadists are holding some hostages - mainly two Christian nuns - and Wonder Woman takes the task of finding her way inside to stop them. But the mistake made is that they make her sound naive, which has become a troubling cliche by now. She says, "Praying on the defenseless while espousing a 'godly' ideology is an egregious form of self-deception." Which sounds like the kind of propaganda you might hear bad European politicians mouthing off, or even the weak statements from Dubya that he believed al Qaeda "hijacked a great religion." To make matters worse, Diana even says she doubts the terrorists would carry out their threat. It makes little difference how you look at this from a modern perspective; making WW sound so naive, not confronting the issue with a proper awareness of the barbarism and suicide mentality jihadists can go by, only makes her look idiotic and not well educated or trained at all.
And then, another problem is that the book just had to include DC's most notable apologia creation, Simon Baz, the Muslim Green Lantern. On which note, I recently found the following screenshot on Twitter, and guess what kind of person's upholding the Baz character, seen at the beginning of the issue doing Islamic prayer on another planet while wearing an odd outfit that looks like an Egyptian mummy:
See the hashtag in the text? "Free Palestine"? Yep, that's the kind of people lauding Geoff Johns' badly crafted character. Anti-Israelists. And if Johns and company do nothing to distance themselves from such a bunch, that's one more reason why I see no reason to support this dismal excuse for a science fiction adventure.
Back on the story itself involving Diana's encounter with the jihadists, it ends with one of them getting hold of her sword and using it to stab one of the nuns to death after the police throw in some flash bombs, and Batman arrives too late to stop him either. I don't think WW couldn't accomplish the raid so incompetently, which, coupled with the naive view of the jihadists, is hugely disappointing. She may not be as fast as the Flash, but her speed is still good enough to bring down the terrorists without serious risk that they'd manage to claim an innocent's life.
The following description from the reviewing site of Batman doesn't sound any better:
This could've been a nifty story where the League would have to bring down some Islamic jihadists, but I think they've blown it all the same, because political correctness unsurprisingly dictated the writing.
Diversity and Comics had the following to say in this video:
He seems to understand what's wrong with this whole mess, and why the dialogue simply doesn't do the subject matter...justice. Not even for Wonder Woman and Batman.

[...]If he's depicted as a sobber, that's another minus detracting from this whole story, which is apparently setting up "The people versus the Justice League". It may have been done before, but this is already becoming too much.

Iraq's still rife with antisemitism
So much, in fact, that the family of the Iraqi contestant in the recent Miss Universe paegeant had to flee because of her friendship with the Israeli contestant:
Miss Iraq, Sarah Idan, became friendly with fellow contestant Adar Gandelsman, the Israeli contestant in the Miss Universe International Beauty Pageant held in Las Vegas last month. They even posted pictures together on Instagram, wishing “love and peace” to all – but the reaction of Idan’s fellow countrymen has been anything but peaceful.Because of this, she's practically living in the USA now, where she's studying as a musician. I do think she should've avoided bringing up the "palestinian cause" mainly because it won't mollify the monsters. And this reaction compounds the failure of the Bush/Obama administrations to change the cultural attitudes in Iraq even after Saddam Hussein was deposed, making the war in Iraq meaningless. If cultural/ideological beliefs aren't changed, then the problem only persists.
So many people posted comments that cursed her for this act that the 27-year-old beauty queen felt she had to defend herself, noting in another post that the picture only showed her desire for peace and “does not signal support for the government of Israel and does not mean I agree or accept its policies in the Arab homeland.” And she apologized to anyone who considered it “harmful to the Palestinian cause.” But, courageously, she did not remove the photo from her account.
Idan’s participation in the swimsuit competition of the event also aroused great anger, with her family actually leaving Baghdad temporarily after being threatened by their more conservative relatives after that preliminary round of the pageant. However, Miss Israel told Israeli TV Wednesday that Idan’s relatives have now been forced to leave Iraq because of the anger over their joint picture, as well as ones of her modeling in a bikini.
“The two of those things together caused a mess for her back home where people made threats against her and her family that if she didn’t return home and take down the photos, they would remove her (Miss Iraq) title, that they would kill her,” Adar Gandelsman said.
Satmar's overlord condemns recognition of Jerusalem, the Conservative Judaist movement defends
Two interesting contrasts in who abhors recognition of Jerusalem and who appreciates it. In the former category, we have the Satmar's head honcho, Aaron Teitelbaum:
In the latter category, we have the Conservative movement, who've supported Donald Trump's recognition:
The head of one of the two rival groups of the staunchly anti-Zionist Satmar Hassidic movement ripped into President Trump for recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital last week.It figures he'd even speak even in the name of haredis who don't agree with him. He's once again proven the Satmar are the defect in Orthodoxy who're hell-bent on proving themselves the closest allies to Islamofascists. That's practically why they distort the whole meaning of Zionism, when it's just a synonym for patriotism.
Satmar, known as one of the most dogmatically anti-Zionist Hassidic sects, refuses to recognize the State of Israel and calls on members living in Israel not to vote in national elections, even for haredi parties and not to accept any funding from the state, including National Insurance payments. Satmar, however, does care for the welfare of Jews and runs the free meals for those staying in hospitals for Shabbat to care for loved ones.
Speaking before thousands of his followers at a celebration on Saturday night at the New York Expo Center in the Bronx, the head of one of the two Satmar groups that split after the previous Grand Rabbi's death, Rebbe Aharon Teitelboim, said that Trump had no right to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
"We declare in the name of haredi Judaism: Jerusalem, the holy city, will not be the capital of the Zionist state, even if the President of the United States says it is," said Teitelboim.
In the latter category, we have the Conservative movement, who've supported Donald Trump's recognition:
The Conservative movement’s US, Israel and global branches have welcomed US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, while calling for progress in advancing a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.Though the leadership may hold onto positions you could disapprove of, their backing for Trump's declaration of recognition is a positive step, and helps set them apart from both the Satmar and the awful Reform movement, who've also unshockingly voiced their support for the PLO's demands. We certainly don't need those two, and it's funny they'd have such problems with each other when they share some common ground on the aspects of evil together.
The statement comes in contrast to the declaration of the Reform movement, which said the decision was “ill-timed” and would “exacerbate the conflict.” The Conservative movement highlighted this difference in its statement to the Hebrew press.
The statement, published by its constituent institutions on Thursday, said it was “pleased by Trump’s declaration, and expressed the hope that the process of transferring the US embassy to Jerusalem begins in the near future.
“The status of Jerusalem is a matter to be settled in direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians. But in recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and planning to move the American embassy to a location under uncontested Israeli sovereignty, the US government acknowledges the age-old connection that Israel and the Jewish people maintain with the holy city,” read the statement authored by the Conservative movement’s Rabbinical Assembly, the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, Masorti Israel and Masorti Olami.

Trump recognizes Jerusalem as Israel's capitol
It's great to know that Donald Trump's announcing recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capitol. It's a very courageous move, and we cannot allow the PLO and other Islamic sources to dictate, or cause violence in revenge. Joel Pollak's explained why this is a big deal:
I've just watched the televised broadcast from the White House where Trump has made the announcements. I'm glad that's been accomplished. And it looks like some African embassies are already willing to move their offices to Jerusalem. Unfortunately, as expected, there is Islamic hostility brewing, including Recep Erdogan's over in Turkey:
For now, Trump's to be congratulated for the bold step he's taken in recognizing Jerusalem's validity as Israel's capitol.
To understand why, it is important to understand the history of the city. The Old Testament describes in 2 Samuel 5 how King David conquered the city and made it his capital, over 3000 years ago. It later describes in 1 Kings 8 how David’s son, King Solomon, built the Holy Temple and installed the Ark of the Covenant there. Since then, Jews have always faced Jerusalem in their daily prayers. It is the center of the Jewish faith and the core of Jewish history.Muslims turn towards Mecca when they pray their awful Religion of Peace. The only reason Jerusalem "means" something to them is when they want to delegitimize Israel and find ways to endanger it to terrorism.
The Bible also tells the story of how the Jews were exiled from Jerusalem by the Babylonians, and later returned to rebuild the Temple. Another exile happened after 70 A.D., when the Romans destroyed the Second Temple and the city itself. Still, many Jews remained, and Jews worldwide prayed for 2,000 years for a return to “Zion.” Jews have been the largest ethnic group in Jerusalem for nearly 200 years, and a majority since the mid-nineteenth century.
Jerusalem is also holy to Christians and to Muslims, though it is less central to either. And under Israeli sovereignty, all religions have enjoyed the freedom to worship at their respective holy sites. The Temple Mount — or Haram ash-Sharif, to Muslims — has only been closed when there are imminent security threats, as radicals have sometimes used that holy site to attack Jews worshipping at the Western Wall — the last remnant of the Temple — below.
The spokesman for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said the U.S. was “plunging the region and the world into a fire with no end in sight.” He added that an emergency summit of Muslim nations under the auspices of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has been scheduled for December 13 in Istanbul. It's pretty clear the ummah's not going to accept, but then, they never have. Only when they abandon Islam will they hopefully accept what even they must surely realize is just.
For now, Trump's to be congratulated for the bold step he's taken in recognizing Jerusalem's validity as Israel's capitol.

Libyan mutawas shut down local comics convention
The Islamofascists are still prevailing in Libya, and one of their latest victims is a local comics convention:
An armed group in Libya has shut down a comic book convention in the capital Tripoli because it breached the country's "morals and modesty".Ah, is that the same UN whose staffers rejected Wonder Woman as a program mascot? And if the UN has nothing to say about the current case, that says all we need to know about what they really think of freedom for comics artwork any more than any other such subject.
Special Deterrent Forces (SDF) said they had arrested organisers of the Comic Con convention.
It said on its Facebook page that photos published on social media from the convention caused "a widespread public outpouring of criticism".
The SDF is loyal to the UN-backed Government of National Accord.
Eyewitnesses quoted by the Libya Herald said that more than 20 people - including organisers, participants and visitors - were detained. It's almost certain the US comics medium won't condemn these mutawas (Islamic morality enforcers) for suppressing the art form, thus beggaring belief why current contributors even bother to work in the medium at all. It's also not very surprising the Libyan Islamofascists who closed the convention didn't care about the permits given; they probably did it just so they could have an excuse to cause terrible experiences for everyone involved. And all the while, the comics medium's representatives in the USA have no concern, likely because it's not local conservatives who're causing problems.
Six members of the main organizing committee are reported to be still under arrest.
Organisers of the fair told the newspaper they were shocked by the actions of the SDF, especially given they had obtained official permission to stage the event.
''Some of those who were [arrested were later] released had received a beating," an organiser told the Libya Herald.
"They were told that Libya is a Muslim country not a free/liberal country."

Viktor Orban warns Soros network wants to create "mixed population" in Europe
One that'll only devastate the ethnic population. Breitbart reports:
Billionaire George Soros is trying to use mass immigration to dilute European ethnic cultures into one anonymous blend, according to Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.The best way he can hold ground is to leave the EU altogether. It's what every sensible politician should do.
Speaking on Hungarian radio Friday morning, the redoubtable prime minister denounced the campaign of the Soros-funded “Open Society” network to aggressively drive a pro-immigration agenda as a means to eradicate the cultures and Christian identity of European states.
“The Soros network has an extensive sphere of influence within the European Parliament and other EU bodies,” Orbán said, “and its aim is to build a Europe of mixed population and to condemn the Hungarian government for opposing their view on migration.”
Earlier this month, George Soros transferred $18 billion to his Open Society Foundations, his tool of choice for forging a brave new world without borders and without nations.
In his Friday interview, Orbán said that he had to fight tooth and nail during last week’s summit in Brussels against efforts to pass European policy that would jeopardize Hungary’s sovereignty. “There was a great deal of pressure on me to compromise on migration,” he said, but he held his ground.
ISIS terrorist murders pedestrians and bicyclists in Manhattan with truck
A vehicular terrorist attack took place in New York City, committed by a terrorist who screamed a familiar call:
A man described by authorities as a terrorist drove a rented pickup truck down a crowded bicycle path in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon, killing at least eight people, police said — the first deaths from terrorism in New York since the World Trade Center attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.Paterson has a significant number of Muslims living there, so no surprise he'd resided in that area when he came to the US. This is a terrible incident proving that Islamofascism is still a serious danger in north America.
Two law enforcement sources close to the investigation identified the suspect as 29-year-old Sayfullo Saipov, a native of Uzbekistan who moved to the U.S. in 2010.
The trail of destruction extended for nearly a mile, with crushed bicycles and clothing scattered along the popular path. The rampage also injured nearly a dozen people.
It came to an end when the truck crashed into a school bus and the assailant ran into the street, waving a pellet gun and a paintball gun before being shot by a police officer and taken into custody.
Saipov shouted “Allahu akbar,” which is Arabic for “God is great,” before being arrested, the law enforcement sources said.
[...] President Trump took to Twitter to address the attack, writing: “In NYC, looks like another attack by a very sick and deranged person. Law enforcement is following this closely. NOT IN THE U.S.A.!”
He later tweeted: "I have just ordered Homeland Security to step up our already Extreme Vetting Program. Being politically correct is fine, but not for this!"
[...] Saipov’s homeland, the former Soviet republic of Uzbekistan, is not considered a major hotbed for terrorism. But several terrorist groups — including the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, Al Qaeda, Islamic State and the Islamic Jihad Union — have supporters there, according to the U.S. State Department.
In a 2015 case in Brooklyn, five men from Uzbekistan and one from neighboring Kazakhstan were charged by federal prosecutors with providing material support to Islamic State.
As night fell Tuesday, the investigation turned to New Jersey. Police blocked off a street in the city of Paterson, where Saipov had lived in an apartment. Investigators also visited a Passaic County Home Depot, where he rented the truck, according to multiple law enforcement sources.

That's why you can't just simply "accept" Islamization
Russia Today interviewed a French writer about a new book called "Partition", detailing how politicians practically accepted Islamofascism into the country, and the possibility that in the next decade, it'll become a new Lebanon:
In just a few years, Islamic suburbs of Paris will obey their own set of rules, they will have their own laws, their own principles, maybe even their own police. It is already the case, Alexandre Mendel, author of the book ‘Partition’ told RT.Well that's why, no matter what anybody thinks, you cannot stand idly by and accept that barbarians are literally "citizens" in every way, shape and form and cannot be exiled for their evils. Geert Wilders made the point that we can't just simply accept and that's it; societies have to be de-islamized to make them safer again.
Europe has been facing a large number of migrants coming from the war-torn countries in Africa and the Middle East. Today many are concerned about the Islamization of Europe and the failure of Muslims assimilating into their new countries.
RT met with a writer Alexandre Mendel, whose new book “Partition” is devoted to the Muslims' failure to integrate in France, and discussed the current situation in that country.
RT: Please start by describing for our readers your book.
Alexandre Mendel: My last book, 'Jihadist France,' was only about the French terrorists. ‘Partition’ is mainly about Islamization of France, about what’s going on in France, in schools, hospitals, at work, in sports clubs, etc. I am not talking this time about terrorism itself, but about the way France decided whether the French government - like it or not – collaborated and accepted some kind of arrangements with Islam. This is the main topic of the book. [...]
RT: What should be done to integrate people into society? Is it only a Muslim thing, or other groups, as well?
AM: In my book, I say that there is no solution, because it is too late; there won’t be any solution. You can’t send them back to their country - they are French - the French cannot send them back. What France will become in the next 10 or 20 years will be a kind of new Lebanon in some places in France.
For example, take some suburbs in Paris: they will have their own set of rules, they will have their own laws, their own principals, maybe even their own police. It is already the case. The fact that in France right now in many places France has no control in these areas. We accepted it already and we won’t fight back to get these suburbs back to France. It is already done – we already lost the war against them.
So the rich people in France will be in the fancy neighborhoods of Paris, far from the problems, and then the poor people will have to deal with Islamism on a daily base. This is the way we accepted that already.

Jewish girl violently assaulted by Muslims at French school
One of the few Jewish students going to a public school where much of the students are Muslim fell victim to antisemitic violence (Hat tip: Pamela Geller):
A 10-year-old girl was assaulted by her classmates and the home of a family was daubed with racist graffiti in two Paris-area incidents deemed antisemitic. It's noted that some politicians are encouraging this sadism as well, by associating with jihadist sympathisers. Undoutably they are, and Jacques Chirac was one most recent politician in history who did, as did also Francois Hollande.
The alleged assault was reported to France’s ministry of education by the National Bureau for Vigilance Against Antisemitism, or BNVCA, the watchdog group wrote in a statement on its website Tuesday. Separately, the same group reported that unidentified individuals on Wednesday wrote antisemitic slogans on the side of a home belonging to Jewish family in the eastern suburb of Noisy le Grand.
The mother of the girl who allegedly was assaulted, identified by BNVCA only as Ness, complained to police recently that a group of classmates of her daughter in the public school which she attends in Paris’ 18th district beat her on multiple occasions, often occurring day after day, only because she is Jewish. After one beating, Ness was brought to hospital with a visible contusion to her stomach and ribcage, the report said, requiring 10 days of recovery.
The child will be transferred to a different school, BNVCA wrote.

Judge Jeanine Goes Off on NFL 'Kneelers' (VIDEO)
She's angry!
Here, "Judge Jeanine Slams Roger Goodell and Millionaire NFL Players Taking a Knew Against Our Country (VIDEO)."
This is the big story today.
I'm not watching NFL football. I'll boycott the fuckers. Too many Americans have paid the ultimate price for the right of these idiots to disrespect the flag. It's their right to kneel. And it's my right not to watch.

President Trump Pardons Sheriff Joe, Hero Who Cracked Down on Illegal Immigration
I met Sheriff Joe in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2010. Everybody loves Sheriff Joe. The only people who don't are the treasonous racist MSM fifth columnists out to destroy our great country!
Here's the headline at NYT, via Memeorandum, "Trump Pardons Joe Arpaio, Who Became Face of Crackdown on Illegal Immigration."
I don't care what these leftist media hacks say. Sheriff Joe's a freakin' patriot.
Here's my report from 2010. I had so much fun! See, "Sheriff Joe Arpaio Headlines 'Stand With Arizona' Rally in Tempe."

Terrorist shot dead in Spain
One of the terrorists who plotted the van ramming attack in Barcelona was located by Spanish police and sent to hell where he belongs:
Spanish police on Monday shot dead Younes Abouyaaqoub, the suspected driver of a van that mowed down pedestrians in Barcelona, in a dramatic end to a massive manhunt for the Moroccan national who was wearing a fake suicide belt when he was killed.Unfortunately, if they continue to allow Islamists into Europe, there'll still be many more to come. So they're going to have to start doing some serious thinking about their futures.
"We confirm the death of Younes Abouyaaqoub shot in Subirats," police in Catalonia tweeted.
The Moroccan was the last remaining member of a 12-man cell suspected of plotting last week's deadly vehicle rampages in Barcelona and the seaside resort of Cambrils that were claimed by the Islamic State organisation (IS) -- its first in Spain.
Four men have been detained, while the others have been killed, either by police or in an explosion believed to have been accidentally detonated by the suspects themselves in their bomb factory in the seaside town of Alcanar.
Among those killed in the explosion was a Moroccan imam at the heart of the cell, Abdelbaki Es Satty, Catalan police chief Josep Lluis Trapero confirmed Monday.
What could be the exact politics of Tim Seeley's "Brilliant Trash"?
The comics writer Tim Seeley's been interviewed by the Hollywood Reporter (via Science Fiction) about a bizarre comic he's written up called "Brilliant Trash", which features what appears to be a Muslim teen girl destroying Jerusalem, as seen in the panel posted on the side. This is what the trade paper says this about:
Since we're on the subject of Seeley, here's a few tweets he wrote in the past week, giving an idea of where he stands on the political map, mostly to the left:
I'm guessing they're RINOs, right? That is, Republicans In Name Only. Among those he retweeted include Mitt Romney and John McCain, the latter who's opposed repairing the damage wrought by Obamacare. I can't say I'm shocked when some mega-leftie considers faux-conservatives the reliable bunch, but not those who actually care about the public's future.
Well my grandpa, who died in 1972, about 2 years before I was born, also fought in the second World War. And labels had nothing to do with it, just altruism, far more than Franklin Delano Roosevelt ever showed. So this is Seeley's way of saying he apparently buys into the notion that Antifa's really a heroic, patriotic movement, when in reality, they're as repellent as the white supremacists who littered up Charlottesville. Even some hardcore leftists admit Antifa's basically the same as those they're "protesting".
Well at least he's thanking Russia's government for wisely opposing any associations with supremacist news sources, where all their commentary is loathsome as can be. However, he also retweeted this post from Snopes, apparently claiming it's not true what Trump said about Gen. Pershing's war on Islam, hinting he's still part of the anti-Trump crowd. And I think he should ponder that Snopes, in reality, is one of the most dishonest leftist websites around. Definitely not a site I'd consider trustworthy.
Seeley may not be the worst liberal out there in the comics medium, but he may not be the best informed either. And based on what the news is telling about his new comics story, he may not have done a very good job addressing a serious topic. In that case, what would be so "brilliant" about the trash he conceived?
Brilliant Trash, co-created with artist Priscilla Petraites, begins with the destruction of Jerusalem at the hands of a superhuman teenage girl, which introduces a near-future dystopia in which anyone can be a superhero — but only one journalist knows how pricey a proposition that really is. Heat Vision talked briefly with Seeley about the new series. From the looks of things, it would seem as though this story is about an Islamofascist who declared jihad on the historical Jewish city. The question, undoubtably, is whether it's depicted as an abominable, inhumane act. I should hope so. But according to the following statements from Seeley, this book is supposed to be satire:
The world of the series feels very much like it's prime satire, taking elements of today and ramping them up to 11: Journalists that no one believes! Fractured media that tells everyone what they want to hear! Conspiracy theories where corporations keep information from the people! Does this come from a love of satire, or a sense of "I have to write this now before reality eclipses me in a couple of days"?I'm not sure what to make of a tale that's built on satire, considering the book involves a serious issue like religiously motivated assault and annihilation. After all, there's nothing funny in real life about jihadists who commit murder in high numbers. Yet we're living in an age when the industry has almost entirely censored the subject of fighting against Islamic terrorism, and if they do address it, they take blame-the-victim paths, as seen in the unreadable Marvel Knights volume of Captain America in the early 2000s. If Seeley's not playing his cards right, then he's only served up another letdown. Serious issues aren't something you should just present as satire.
It's both! But my favorite sci-fi has always been the material that takes current trends to a seemingly ridiculous satirical end, because those are the things that end up being accurate. We laughed at the ads in Robocop, but they mostly came true. As a person, I have to fight myself not to make fun of everything — but Brilliant Trash allows me to do it, and be absolutely savage about it.
As the solicitation for the first issue reveals, you're literally wiping Jerusalem off the face of the earth at the very start of this series. As far as opening gambits go, there's attention-grabbing and then there's attention-grabbing. Are you anticipating a lot of feedback on that particular plot point?
Ha, I never anticipate feedback, because I never know what's going to really sink in with readers. But there's very much a reasoning behind why Lady LastWord [the character responsible for the destruction of Jerusalem] does this, and we'll see that motivation unfold over the course of the first five issues.
Since we're on the subject of Seeley, here's a few tweets he wrote in the past week, giving an idea of where he stands on the political map, mostly to the left:
I generally find myself retweeting Trump crits from conservatives. Part of me thinks it means something. Maybe more. Not sure anymore.— Tim Seeley (@HackinTimSeeley) August 15, 2017
That said, in these strange & terrible days, I recommend @RWPUSA and @Evan_McMullin. Principled Republicans. Genuine concern for America.— Tim Seeley (@HackinTimSeeley) August 15, 2017
My grandpa fought Nazis in Europe in WW2. Gonna tell him that makes him 'alt-left' now.— Tim Seeley (@HackinTimSeeley) August 16, 2017

Anthony Scaramucci Unloads (VIDEO)
Here, "Anthony Scaramucci Unloads on Reince Priebus in Profanity-Laced Interview at the New Yorker":
So, a little while ago, I go to turn on the Diamondbacks at Cardinals on the MLB channel, and I get an error message saying the broadcast isn't available in my area (which is weird, since I live nowhere near St. Louis and the game wouldn't normally be blacked out). Okay, fine. It's happened before. I then go to click out of the channel and CNN pops up. My wife must have been watching it earlier, because I haven't watched CNN in months. It's four-o'clock and Erin Burnett's coming on with breaking news about Anthony Scaramucci. So I watched for a while. Then I click around the dial a little more and come back a few minutes later and she's got neocon never-Trumper Bill Kristol on. He's ranting about how unprecedented is this White House power struggle, even going so far as to suggest that Scaramucci's mentally unstable and should be denied an FBI security clearance. Then I flip over to Fox News. Martha MacCallum's got Dana Perino on. She argues that this kind of White House battle can only be decided by the president ultimately. Martha goes to a commercial and I flipped the off button.
At issue is this interview with Ryan Lizza, at the New Yorker, "Anthony Scaramucci Called Me to Unload About White House Leakers, Reince Priebus, and Steve Bannon" (via Memeorandum):
At one point Scaramucci calls Priebus a "fucking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac..." And of course, this has all the chattering-leftist mouths agape across the establishment. Keep in mind that leftists will play up any Oval Office flame-war to the hilt. If this is seen as weakening the effectiveness of the administration, all the better. And they're going to play it all the more, because Scaramucci's been kicking ass. He's been taking down the fake news memes on the cable broadcasts and forwarding an extremely on-point and effective message for the president. Leftist will exploit any angle to take him down, and by extension take down his boss, President Trump.
More at Memeorandum.
Everything is high drama. Scarmucci's high drama, but he's pissed at how the president's been getting reamed and he's serious about cleaning house. He's serious about take the battle to the fake news outlets. That's what leftists hate. Let's see how this goes over the next few days, because if Scaramucci starts winning some victories, leftists'll be even more freaked out. Knives are sharpening at this minute as it is.

At issue is this interview with Ryan Lizza, at the New Yorker, "Anthony Scaramucci Called Me to Unload About White House Leakers, Reince Priebus, and Steve Bannon" (via Memeorandum):
On Wednesday night, I received a phone call from Anthony Scaramucci, the new White House communications director. He wasn’t happy. Earlier in the night, I’d tweeted, citing a “senior White House official,” that Scaramucci was having dinner at the White House with President Trump, the First Lady, Sean Hannity, and the former Fox News executive Bill Shine. It was an interesting group, and raised some questions. Was Trump getting strategic advice from Hannity? Was he considering hiring Shine? But Scaramucci had his own question—for me.More.
“Who leaked that to you?” he asked. I said I couldn’t give him that information. He responded by threatening to fire the entire White House communications staff. “What I’m going to do is, I will eliminate everyone in the comms team and we’ll start over,” he said. I laughed, not sure if he really believed that such a threat would convince a journalist to reveal a source. He continued to press me and complain about the staff he’s inherited in his new job. “I ask these guys not to leak anything and they can’t help themselves,” he said. “You’re an American citizen, this is a major catastrophe for the American country. So I’m asking you as an American patriot to give me a sense of who leaked it.”
In Scaramucci’s view, the fact that word of the dinner had reached a reporter was evidence that his rivals in the West Wing, particularly Reince Priebus, the White House chief of staff, were plotting against him. While they have publicly maintained that there is no bad blood between them, Scaramucci and Priebus have been feuding for months. After the election, Trump asked Scaramucci to join his Administration, and Scaramucci sold his company, SkyBridge Capital, in anticipation of taking on a senior role. But Priebus didn’t want him in the White House, and successfully blocked him for being appointed to a job until last week, when Trump offered him the communications job over Priebus’s vehement objections. In response to Scaramucci’s appointment, Sean Spicer, an ally of Priebus’s, resigned his position as press secretary. And in an additional slight to Priebus, the White House’s official announcement of Scaramucci’s hiring noted that he would report directly to the President, rather than to the chief of staff.
Scaramucci’s first public appearance as communications director was a slick and conciliatory performance at the lectern in the White House briefing room last Friday. He suggested it was time for the White House to turn a page. But since then, he has become obsessed with leaks and threatened to fire staffers if he discovers that they have given unauthorized information to reporters. Michael Short, a White House press aide considered close to Priebus, resigned on Tuesday after Scaramucci publicly spoke about firing him. Meanwhile, several damaging stories about Scaramucci have appeared in the press, and he blamed Priebus for most of them. Now, he wanted to know whom I had been talking to about his dinner with the President. Scaramucci, who initiated the call, did not ask for the conversation to be off the record or on background...
MARINE LE PEN WINS 1ST PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION
She may have lost the presidential election, but for the first time, she's won a seat in France's National Assembly, and the Front National itself got nearly 10 percent of the vote:
Though Emmanuel Macron's party won a huge amount of seats, it didn't get the vast majority the pollsters/media were predicting, and the French Republicains party got more than expected on their part. There's more about the election here.
In other good news, Meyer Habib was reelected to the Assembly. I'm hoping all of the relevant sources will do their best to make themselves heard on the case of Islamofascism devouring the country now, because that should be the most serious issue facing us all now.
Far-right leader Marine Le Pen on Sunday won a seat in the French parliament, but her anti-EU National Front (FN) party faced disappointment, winning only four to eight seats, polls and party figures said. The number of lawmakers, if confirmed, would be too small to form a parliamentary group which would give the FN a role in setting the agenda and win positions on committees.Oh, I wouldn't be too sure the results wouldn't be enough to ensure she'll have some influence. After all, she's a beginner in politics, and this is her first actual election to parliament. Where she failed at presidency, she did succeed in making her way to parliament.
Le Pen, 48, who lost her presidential bid to centrist Emmanuel Macron, triumphed in her northern fiefdom of Henin-Beaumont, a depressed former mining town, the town’s FN mayor Steeve Briois said.

50 YEARS SINCE JERUSALEM WAS REGAINED
Yesterday was Jerusalem Day, and the Jerusalem Post has a pictorial article about the 50th year since the city was freed from the clutches of Jordan:
And we also have to consider that as Europe stands now, it's become very dangerous thanks to the Islamofascism now infesting the continent, and if conquered by Islam, it'll be very bad for Israeli interests, as well as American ones.
On the positive side, I want to note that marching in crowds with flags is something a lot of countries can and should emulate, and hope that can be possible in the future, assuming they don't have a similar concept yet. The marches performed on Jerusalem Day are an excellent idea for other countries to work on too.
Also, since we're on the subject, the Jerusalem Post's also got an article about 50 paintings celebrating the city, by both domestic and foreign artists.
Tens of thousands of Jews from all four corners of the world gathered in downtown Jerusalem on Wednesday to march in solidarity to the Western Wall, in the annual Jerusalem Day Flag Parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the reunification of the capital following the Six Day War.But now, we do. Though there's still the fact that some Arabic neighborhoods in the city are dangerous for Jews to enter, and that is bad. For now, it's good that we were able to reclaim the city from a Muslim regime that, despite signing a peace treaty with Israel, is still very hostile and may become more so again in the not too distant future.
Under a cloudless, sunny sky – amid a pronounced police presence – Independence Park became a sea of blue and white, as thousands of yeshiva students draped in, and waving, Israeli flags danced shoulder to shoulder, their arms locked, while singing joyous Jewish hymns.
Across the road, near the US Consulate on Agron Street, thousands more men, women and children also proudly waved and wore flags, as a wall of 10-foot speakers mounted on the sidewalk blasted song after song, while police helicopters flew high above.
Talia Renner, 19, and Orly Grobeisen, 18, both members of Bnei Akiva, the world’s largest Zionist youth movement, flew to Israel from Mexico City, where they attended Jewish day schools, to participate in the procession to the Western Wall.
“Today is about celebrating that we are here and that the whole nation is united,” said Renner, as she waved a large Israeli flag. “We didn’t have a unified capital before, and now, for 50 years, we have the chance to be here celebrating on Jerusalem’s streets, and at one time we couldn’t.”
And we also have to consider that as Europe stands now, it's become very dangerous thanks to the Islamofascism now infesting the continent, and if conquered by Islam, it'll be very bad for Israeli interests, as well as American ones.

TRUMP'S VISIT TO ISRAEL GOES PRETTY WELL
Donald Trump arrived today for his visit to Israel, and it went over surprisingly well:
Breitbart also notes that Melanie Trump made quite an impact.
So was Trump's visit a positive example overall? I'd say yes. Even so, there's still a lot more that needs to be done.
President Donald Trump on Monday touched down in Israel for a 24-hour visit to the Jewish state, the second stop of his first foreign as U.S. president. The issue of Iran's nuclear threat was brought up in press conferences, and why it's vital to bring them down. Of course, the same goes for many other Islamic regimes, and Saudi Arabia has to be told again that they're to cease with their own bigoted conduct.
Trump was greeted at a red carpet ceremony at Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv by a large delegation that included Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sarah as well as Netanyahu’s cabinet, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, government ministers and Knesset Members.
Trump’s tour here marks the first time a U.S. president visited Israel during a first presidential trip abroad.
“Never before has the first foreign trip of the president of the United States included a visit to Israel,” Netanyahu said in his remarks at the airport ceremony. “Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you for this powerful expression of your friendship to Israel.
Upon landing, Trump praised “unbreakable bond” between the U.S. and Israel. “On my first trip overseas as president, I have come to this sacred and ancient land to reaffirm the unbreakable bond between the United States and the State of Israel,” Trump said.
“We love Israel, we respect Israel, and I bring the warmest greetings from your friend and ally, all of the people of the United States of America,” Trump stated.
Breitbart also notes that Melanie Trump made quite an impact.

CAN MARINE LE PEN'S PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATES DO BETTER?
She may not have won the presidential election in France, but she's going to make an effort in getting party candidates elected to French parliament (presumably with a name change for the party):
The anti-EU firebrand has rejoined the party after she briefly left ahead of the second round of voting for the presidential election last week, where she secured just 34 per cent of the vote.We certainly hope not, but so far, there's no way to be sure, though if the Socialist party collapses, they'll deserve it. If estimates are correct, Le Pen's party could get a few dozen seats this time, which would be getting somewhere. They'll just have to make sure all candidates they're fielding uphold honesty and respect for racial backgrounds, if anything. Religion, on the other hand, should not be given privileges at all costs, even if a difference can be made between what religion is good or bad.
But it is unclear if Ms Le Pen will be standing in the June parliamentary election as Front National position themselves to be a thorn in side of the newly elected president.
Despite winning the top job, Emmanuel Macron faces a bitter fight for power in the parliamentary elections as the centrist battles to push ahead with his progressive politics.
President Macron, who established centrist party En Marche! in April 2016, currently has no members from his own party in parliament.
The Europhile former banker will be forced to forge alliances with other parties to pass legislation through the assembly if he is unable to build a parliamentary majority.
And with a record low turnout and a huge number of abstentions and spoiled ballots, his rise to the presidency may not mean a large return of MPs.

IT'S SAD, BUT LE PEN LOST AND MACRON WON, BECAUSE OF VOTER APATHY
The French election results are in, and unfortunately, Marine Le Pen lost while Emmanuel Macron won. Probably nobody expected this, but apparently, while there were surely plenty of leftists who didn't bother to vote, neither did many conservatives, most likely because they didn't trust any elected officials to make the changes needed to make the country safe again. As Joseph Klein notes, however, that doesn't mean populism is going away there:
Whatever the election result, I should hope all who believe in freedom will be willing to join the army and/or act as war correspondents when World War Three erupts for real, because, as I'd noted earlier, if France and several other European countries fall, it'll be bad for the USA and Israel. Iran's already perfect proof of the next world war looming around the corner, and no matter what you think of Europeans by and large, that doesn't mean we should just sit by quietly while darkness is bound to happen. Point: even if Jews weren't the prime target during WW2, does that mean the Allies shouldn't have taken on Germany? Of course not. Remember, during WW1, the Armenians were a leading target of the Ottoman Empire in its waning days, one of the main reasons why going to war against Germany and Turkey at the time was justified too. There are sensible Europeans out there worth fighting for, and anybody who turns their backs and allows Europe to be turned into a potential breeding ground for a modern Caliphate - not to mention a nuclear arms development center like Iran's - will be failing their dedication to human values.
What can be done is to encourage concerned Europeans to do what Geert Wilders once did, and speak before Congress. That's but one way to make a difference, because if the USA can provide a positive influence, then clearly, that's an important place to confer with anybody and everybody who can help.
Update: one of Hot Air's writers tells why he thinks the French were in a lose-lose situation. And here's more info on how many abstained.
The two top finishers in the first round election for the French presidency faced each other again in the presidential runoff on May 7th. Emmanuel Macron, a pro-European Union former banker and member of the current Socialist French President Francois Hollande’s cabinet, handily beat the insurgent anti-globalist candidate, Marine Le Pen. Mr. Macron’s margin of victory was approximately 30 percent. According to initial estimates, he garnered between 65.5 percent and 66.1 percent of the votes cast. Ms. Le Pen captured between 33.9 percent and 34.5 percent of the vote. Globalists in Europe and the United States are breathing a sigh in relief. They are convinced that Ms. Le Pen’s landslide defeat has definitively rolled back the rising tide of populism and nationalism evidenced by the Brexit vote and Donald Trump’s victory last year. They may be reading too much into these election results, however.I'd also note that this result probably shouldn't come off too surprising, given that Geert Wilders, despite his party growing in the Dutch election, didn't manage to make first place. The leftards and socialists in Europe have been doing their damndest to keep anybody with more rational leanings out of power, and unfortunately, even the French conservatives like Francois Fillon may not have done enough to convince.
Mr. Macron did so well in part because of the candidate he was running against. Ms. Le Pen ran ahead of the rest of the field in the first round of the election two weeks ago, but never managed to broaden her appeal much beyond her core constituency.
Ms. Le Pen entered the race bearing the heavy baggage of her party’s anti-Semitic, xenophobic past. She tried mightily to move the National Front party she led beyond the racist, Holocaust-denying message her father had enunciated as the party’s founder. Her platform focused instead on a France-first, economic populist message that caught on with some voters disaffected with the political establishment. However, Ms. Le Pen could not entirely shake the negative image many French voters still held of the National Front party.
Ms. Le Pen also ran a flawed campaign. She squandered the opportunity afforded by the face-to-face debate with Mr. Macron to expand her base with a positive message, in counterpoint to Mr. Macron’s proposed globalist programs. Instead, she chose to go relentlessly negative. Polls taken after the debate showed her as the clear loser. “The debate was fatal for her,” an operator of a popular pro-Le Pen twitter account remarked.
However, although Mr. Macron soundly beat his populist challenger, the underlying populist anger is still there, in France and in Europe as a whole. The anger is fed by a combination of economic dislocation and anti-immigrant sentiment.
Whatever the election result, I should hope all who believe in freedom will be willing to join the army and/or act as war correspondents when World War Three erupts for real, because, as I'd noted earlier, if France and several other European countries fall, it'll be bad for the USA and Israel. The allied forces during WW2 have to shoulder blame for not acting sooner
Benjamin Netanyahu made a crucial point about why the Holocaust happened:
Here's more about Netanyahu giving a stern warning Islamofascist countries like Iran.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday slammed western powers during his speech on Holocaust Remembrance Day, saying that Allied powers knew of the atrocities happening to Jews in death camps and had they have acted on that knowledge they would have saved the lives of four million Jews and millions of others.Yes, and that indifference is exactly what's turned several areas in Europe into hellholes, as self-hating European politicians turn against their own populations. It's considerable damage that's going to take ages to repair, and until then, the chances of another world war are very possible.
The prime minister cited newly released documents from the UN that show the Allied forces were aware of the extent of the Holocaust in 1942 – two and half years earlier than previously assumed.
It was a “chilling revelation,” Netanyahu said.
“If the powers in 1942 had acted against the death camps — and all that was needed was repeated bombing of the camps — had they acted then, they could have saved four million Jews and millions of other people,” he said at the official state Yom HaShoah ceremony at the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial in Jerusalem.
“When terrible crimes were being committed against the Jews, when our brothers and sisters were being sent to the furnaces,” he said, “the powers knew and did not act.”
According to Netanyahu, the Holocaust was the result of three elements coming together: a deep hatred of the Jews, global apathy to the horrors that occurred, and “the terrible weakness of our people in the Diaspora.”
Anti-Semitism had not disappeared, and neither was it likely to in the foreseeable future, he said. It was made worse by Iran and the Islamic State, he added. This was to be the only mention of the Islamic republic in his speech, a marked departure from previous years in which he would single out Iran several times.
Global indifference was still alive today too, Netanyahu said.
Here's more about Netanyahu giving a stern warning Islamofascist countries like Iran.
Emmanuel Macron attacked Jewish schools
Since we're talking about the French election, any Jews in France who overlook this disturbing news from several months ago, which did cause some anger, will be making a big mistake:
Since we're on the subject, the UK Telegraph says Macron would also be bad for Brexit:
And, if it matters, what about his affair and marriage with a former teacher of his, Brigitte Trogneux, when he was 16 years old, at a time when he was still underage and she was in her late 30s? His defense for this was:
French presidential hopeful and former Economy Minister Emmanuel Macron sparked an uproar in the French Jewish community, following the publication of an interview earlier this month of an interview touching upon religious schools in France. That kind of talk could easily suggest Jewish schools are no different than Muslim schools. Far from it, and most Jewish schools in France have some of the best students in various other subjects too. That Macron would make such a superficial claim only does more damage, and puts his sincerity further in doubt. Here's some of the French language interviews on Marianne and La Croix.
[...] Speaking with Marianne earlier this month, Macron warned of the influence of religion in French schools generally and decrying Jewish schools for emphasizing the Torah.
“It is very important to maintain neutrality in the public sector,” Macron said. “Religion cannot be present in school. But I hear few people becoming concerned by the consequences of this phenomenon, [with] more and more children being sent to religious schools which teach them to hate the Republic and teach mainly in Arabic, or,” Macron added, “in other places [Jewish schools] teach the Torah more than general studies.”
Since we're on the subject, the UK Telegraph says Macron would also be bad for Brexit:
Barring an unforeseen electoral earthquake, the centrist Emmanuel Macron now looks set fair to become the next president of France in two weeks’ time.Worse is the hard bargain he'll drive with his own country, since his positions on safety and security for the public are uncertain.
As the leader of one of the EU’s two most powerful nations, Mr Macron will have a key role in formulating the European Union’s attitude to Brexit when talks get underway after the UK’s General election on June 8.
Theresa May has been clear that she does not want the EU or the euro to unravel - a near-certainty were Marine Le Pen to win the Elysee Palace - but while a Macron presidency brings stability, the 39-year-old former banker has promised to drive a hard bargain with Britain.
And, if it matters, what about his affair and marriage with a former teacher of his, Brigitte Trogneux, when he was 16 years old, at a time when he was still underage and she was in her late 30s? His defense for this was:
“Nobody would call it unusual if the age difference was reversed,” he said. “People find it difficult to accept something that is sincere and unique.”No, he's missing the point. In the USA, if an older teacher has an affair with a student who's under 18, it's considered illegal, and she would've been arrested and charged for violating statutory laws. The same goes for if a male teacher did the same with an underage girl. So what's his point? What he's done is an embarrassment, even if it's nothing compared to his fishy policies on security for the country and combating terrorism, which he doesn't seem to have a clue what to do about.
Marine Le Pen makes it to 2nd round of French election, with Emmanuel Macron as rival
The results of the first round are in, with some results giving Le Pen nearly 4 percent more in results than Emmanuel Macron. I'll have to admit, it's a shame that Francois Fillon didn't make it, because Macron's proven himself untrustworthy already.
Yet Fillon, in his defeat, isn't making a good impression upon himself, if, according to the reports I've seen, he said he'd support Macron in the second round. Does Fillon actually believe in his own platform, or doesn't he? Yes, I think it's idiotic to just go and throw support behind somebody who's bound to be an extension of Hollande's own disastrous government.
For now, we have to hope Marine Le Pen can win the presidency on the second round, and that nobody will be fooled by Macron's own deceptions.

TERRORIST ATTACK IN LONDON'S WESTMINSTER NEIGHBORHOOD LEAVES 3 VICTIMS DEAD
Even Britain's still in serious danger of jihadism, as today's horrible incident just proved. The Irish Times has the following:
Note that in Britain, "Asian" can allude to people of Arabic/Pakistani background. So we know who the culprit could've been, and he should go straight to hell for what he did.
Update: more news on Hot Air.
Four people, including a police officer, two pedestrians and a knifeman have been killed in what police described as a “terror incident” at Westminster in London.Even in the UK, French have been victimized. These students are lucky to have survived.
The attacker, armed with two large knives, mowed down pedestrians with his car on Westminster Bridge, including schoolchildren, then rushed at the gates in front of the Houses of Parliament, stabbing a policeman before he was shot by armed officers.
Scotland Yard said the attack in London, which took place on the first anniversary of attacks on Brussels, was being treated “as a terrorist incident until we know otherwise”.
The attacker, described by one witness as an Asian man in his 40s, ran over several pedestrians as he drove a grey Hyundai i40 across Westminster Bridge at about 2.45pm before crashing it into railings. He then ran through the gates of the Palace of Westminster and stabbed the officer.
Eyewitnesses said he was shot at least three times by police as he approached a second officer with the knife. He died later in hospital.
At least 10 patients, including three French teenagers on a school visit to London, were treated on Westminster Bridge, London Ambulance Service said.

These people need to get a life.

I think folks should just tune it out, live life. Read a book or something. Go to the movies. Go swimming. Have a glass of wine and talk to your kids. Sheesh. I teach politics for a living. I know there's lots more to life than stressing over the president.

MARINE LE PEN BRAVELY REFUSED TO WEAR HEADSCARF AT LEBANESE MUFTI'S HQ
The lady candidate for French presidency did something the female dhimmis in Sweden wouldn't do: she refused to wear a hijab during a visit to a Lebanese mufti, and ideally cancelled the meeting with him too:
French far-right National Front presidential candidate Marine Le Pen canceled a meeting on Tuesday with Lebanon's grand mufti, its top cleric for Sunni Muslims, after refusing to wear a headscarf for the encounter.Oh, sure, I'll bet they were surprised. It's more likely they were enraged underneath she wouldn't kowtow to their demands she demean herself and grovel before the mufti. And she shouldn't adhere to a dress code imposed by Haredi extremists like Satmar either. Whatever her motivations for visiting that mufti, she did the right thing by not meeting him in the end. If he demanded women not be themselves, then he doesn't deserve the dignity of a visit by a politician from a civilized society. Le Pen was brave to refuse, and did the right thing not to grovel.
Le Pen, among the frontrunners for the presidency, is using a two-day visit to Lebanon to bolster her foreign policy credentials nine weeks from the April 23 first round, and may be partly targeting potential Franco-Lebanese votes.
Many Lebanese fled to France, Lebanon's former colonial power, during their country's 1975-1990 civil war and became French citizens.
After meeting Christian President Michel Aoun - her first public handshake with a head of state - and Sunni Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri on Monday, she had been scheduled to meet the Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian
He heads the Dar al-Fatwa, the top religious authority for Sunni Muslims in the multireligious country.
"I met the grand mufti of Al-Azhar," she told reporters, referring to a visit in 2015 to Cairo's 1,000-year-old center of Islamic learning. "The highest Sunni authority didn't have this requirement, but it doesn't matter.
"You can pass on my respects to the grand mufti, but I will not cover myself up," she said.
The cleric's press office said Le Pen's aides had been informed beforehand that a headscarf was required for the meeting and had been "surprised by her refusal".

KNESSET PASSES A LAW TO PROTECT JEWISH NEIGHBORHOODS IN JUDEA/SAMARIA
The Knesset's passed a special bill to legalize a lot of the neighborhoods that the MSM has the gall to call "settlements":
The Knesset on Monday evening passed the controversial outpost regulation bill that will allow the government to retroactively grant permits to contested Judea and Samaria communities. Following a long, stormy session, 60 lawmakers voted in favor of the bill, and 52 voted against it.This is the good part. Trouble is, it won't be without opposition from the usual suspects:
The new Judea and Samaria Settlement Regulation Law has already been challenged, as several leftist groups have announced they will petition the High Court of Justice to strike it down.Which is shameful, of course. Especially if the court intends to take a pre-determined standing in their favor. For now, this is great news, and everybody who upholds the new bill should let their voices be known.

WITH TRUMP NOW PRESIDENT, LET'S HOPE ISRAELI RELATIONS CAN IMPROVE
Let's also hope this can convince European countries, for example, of why they too need to change their ways. For now, Israeli leaders are congratulating Donald Trump on his ascension to presidency:
Israel’s leaders congratulated Donald Trump on his inauguration as US President and expressed excitement at working with him to strengthen the US-Israel relationship. And let's hope the UN is defunded, even by European countries. There's no use in wasting valuable tax money on such a repellent, dishonest organization.
Israel’s political leaders expressed their congratulations to Donald Trump who was inaugurated as President of the United States on Friday.
“Congrats to my friend President Trump,” tweeted Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday before the onset of the Jewish Sabbath in Israel. “Look fwd to working closely with you to make the alliance between Israel & USA stronger than ever.”
Israel’s Ambassador to the US Ron Dermer echoed Netanyahu’s remarks. “Congratulations President Trump! Israel looks forward to working with you to make the US-Israel alliance greater than ever.”
Israel’s Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon shared his view in a statement that Trump’s presidency not only presented an opportunity to strengthen the US-Israel relationship but also to improve Israel’s standing in the United Nations.
“A true friend of Israel will enter the White House today,” Danon said. “After the shameful resolution that was adopted by the Security Council, Israel looks forward to strengthening our most important alliance and leading together towards a new era at the UN.”

IT FLOPPED LIKE A FAILED SOUFFLE
Israel's diplomats say that the phony peace conference in Paris is the failure it truly is:
That said, it's apparent that the opposition to the conference had some effect, including the US Congress' own condemnation and bills to cut funding to the UN.
The Paris peace summit, despite concern that it could end with another damaging anti-Israel resolution, turned out “flat as a failed souffle,” Israeli Foreign Ministry Spokesman Emanuel Nahshon said.Oh, like we should take anything Kerry says at face value. Most certainly not. Besides, even if this is the last of this atrocity for now, it's not like Kerry and Obama aren't likely to cause more trouble after they leave office.
The conclusion of Sunday’s Mideast peace conference in Paris urged Israelis and Palestinians to “officially restate their commitment to the two-state solution.” It also warned both sides against taking one-sided actions that could hurt talks, an apparent reference to Israeli settlement building in eastern Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria.
Despite concern in Israel that the conference could end with another damaging resolution against the Jewish state, nothing of the sort occurred. Earlier in the day, US Secretary of State John Kerry – who had defended the Obama administration’s abstention from UN Security Council Resolution 2334, condemning Israeli settlements and had led the failed Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations – assured Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the US would oppose any further resolutions based on conclusions at the summit.
That said, it's apparent that the opposition to the conference had some effect, including the US Congress' own condemnation and bills to cut funding to the UN.
Nonetheless, the summit, with the participation of over 70 countries, ended with a message to Israel as well as to the incoming US administration that the only viable solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, according to international opinion, is a two-state solution.Such big talk from somebody who already alienated much of the public with his disastrous security steps. It's worth noting that a few countries didn't even officially attend, and:
“The two-state solution is still the objective of the international community for the future,” French President Francois Hollande said. “With this conference I wanted to inscribe the two-state solution on the international agenda.”
The final declaration also included criticism of incitement and “terror,” an apparent reference to Palestinian attacks. And some of the pro-Palestinian language in an earlier draft was removed after diplomats huddled in Paris. For once, Britain did something positive, and I think Russia also abstained from attendance. Thankfully, the backlash did have some effect, though there's still a long way to go, even now that Trump's been elected.
The incoming US administration did not take part in the meeting, nor did it immediately comment on its final statement. President-elect Donald Trump had expressed disagreement with the conference.
Apparently in deference to the Trump team, the UK delegation did not include any senior-level officials.
Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon dismissed Sunday’s conference, tweeting that it was “flat as a failed soufflé.”
“A big show is no replacement for direct negotiations between the parties,” he said.
