ABU MAZEN'S MASK SLIPS AGAIN

MERE RHETORIC:
Celebrated

$550 million in US aid including an unprecedented hundred million dollar infusion of direct aid achieved this:

The Al Kuds Mark of Honor, the PLO's highest medal, will be given to two female terrorists who helped kill Israelis, Israel Radio reported Wednesday. Ahlam Tamimi, a Hamas affiliate serving a life sentence for driving the suicide bomber who exploded himself in the Sbarro restaurant in Jerusalem, killing at least half a dozen people, including a whole family and Amra Muna, who seduced Ophir Rahum over the Internet and then lured him to Ramallah where he was murdered, will both be awarded the medal. Conferring the Al Kuds Mark of Honor is decided at the discretion of the Palestinian Authority's president, and he alone has the final say when choosing the Palestinians to be honored with the medal.
ABBAS AND FATAH ARE JUST AS BAD AS MESHAL AND HAMAS. (FATAH'S NEWSPAPER ALSO HONORED THE YESHIVA MASS-MURDERER.
  • THE USA AND THE WEST SHOULD PULL THE PLUG ON ALL AID TO ABBAS AND FATAH, JUST LIKE WE DID TO HAMAS.
  • THE "PEACE PROCESS" IS A CHARADE - ONE WHICH AIDS THE ENEMY.
  • THERE IS ONLY WAY TO ACHIEVE PEACE: VANQUISHING THE ENEMY, AND DICTATING TERMS OF SURRENDER - UNCONDITIONALLY.
  • WE FAILED TO DO THIS AGAINST SADDAM IN THE GULF WAR, AND HE CAME BACK TO BITE US.
  • WE FAILED TO DEFEAT KIM AD THE CHI-COMS IN THE KOREAN WAR, AND NORTH KOREA HAS BEEN A DESTABILIZING HORROR STORY EVER SINCE.
  • DITTO THE SO-CALLED PALESTINIANS.
AFTER THEY ACT AS IF THEY DESERVE AUTONOMY, THEN MAYBE THEY SHALL GET AUTONOMY. NOT UNTIL. (HAT TIP LGF.)

"PEACE PROCESS" CHARADE CONTINUES: NYTIMES CHASTIZES HAMAS, BUT GLOSSES OVER FATAH'S VIRULENT AND PERSISTENT ANTISEMITISM

NYTIMES:
In Gaza, Hamas’s Insults to Jews Complicate Peace
By STEVEN ERLANGER

GAZA — In the Katib Wilayat mosque one recent Friday, the imam was discussing the wiliness of the Jew.

“Jews are a people who cannot be trusted,” Imam Yousif al-Zahar of Hamas told the faithful. “They have been traitors to all agreements — go back to history. Their fate is their vanishing. Look what they are doing to us.”

At Al Omari mosque, the imam cursed the Jews and the “Crusaders,” or Christians, and the Danes, for reprinting cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. He referred to Jews as “the brothers of apes and pigs,” while the Hamas television station, Al Aksa, praises suicide bombing and holy war until Palestine is free of Jewish control.

Its videos praise fighters and rocket-launching teams; its broadcasts insult the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, for talking to Israel and the United States; its children’s programs praise “martyrdom,” teach what it calls the perfidy of the Jews and the need to end Israeli occupation over Palestinian land, meaning any part of the state of Israel.

Such incitement against Israel and Jews was supposed to be banned under the 1993 Oslo accords and the 2003 “road map” peace plan. While the Palestinian Authority under Fatah has made significant, if imperfect efforts to end incitement, Hamas, no party to those agreements, feels no such restraint.
YOU CAN'T BE A LITTLE PREGNANT, AND FATAH AND ABBAS ARE NO BETTER THAN HAMAS:
PA celebrates "wedding" of murderer of Yeshiva students
by Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook, Mar 17, 2008

The official Palestinian Authority daily newspaper describes the murderer of eight yeshiva students in Jerusalem as a "groom" and his burial as his "wedding celebration."

The story in Mahmoud Abbas's Al Hayat Al Jadida goes on to evoke the neighborhood Jabal Mukaber's "week of anticipation... preparing themselves for the wedding procession."

The term "wedding" is the expression commonly used in PA society, and in PA schoolbooks as well, to describe the death of Shahids - Martyrs for Allah. According to Islamic tradition, they will wed the 72 Dark- Eyed Maidens (Virgins) of Paradise.

The article then reports the "shocking news" for the "thousands who were waiting" that the Israeli Army had decided to force a pre-dawn burial to prevent community celebrations of the murders and the murderer. It bemoans the fact "that the groom was buried in the [early] morning without a celebration and without a wedding procession."

However, the PA daily vows that the wedding celebrations will continue:

"The wedding will not end this way... it will last three consecutive days in which [the town] al-Sawahra will welcome all of those who come to congratulate the groom and will hang his portrait embracing the nation's flags."

Seeing the Martyr's death as a wedding can be found throughout Palestinian society. Some examples:

New Palestinian Schoolbook:

"... I will not cry during this wedding, as our Arabness does not want us to cry over the Shahids."
[Arabic Language and the Science of Language, grade 12, p. 13 (2006)]
THIS PROVES THAT THE NYTIMES IS WRONG. AND WRONG TO MINIMIZE THIS ISSUE.
  • SADLY, BUSH AND RICE ARE PARTICIPATING WITH THE NYTIMES IN THIS DEADLY CHARADE.
  • PRETENDING ABBAS IS BETTER WILL ONLY LEAD TO MORE BLOODSHED.
  • IGNORING ALL THE PRINCIPLES OF THE ROADMAP CANNOT LEAD TO PEACE.

MORE PROOF THAT ABBAS AND FATAH SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED

FROM JIHAD WATCH:

If you're surprised by this, call me. I've got a very nice deal I can make you on a lovely suspension bridge. "'Peace partner' ready to make nice with Hamas: Weeks after U.S. announced $555 million to bolster Abbas against terror group," by Aaron Klein for WorldNetDaily.com (thanks to Doug):
JERUSALEM – In a major policy speech today, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas urged dialogue with rival Hamas, calling for a "new page" to be started with the terror group.
EVERY PENNY WE GIVE FATAH SUPPORTS JIHADOTERROR.

"[Ali] Dandis worked as a clerk at the Sharia courts in Hebron. Both are residents of the West Bank city, security officials said. They noted that Friday's attack was not the first time that Palestinian security officials or policemen were involved in terror attacks. Last month, Ido Zoldan was gunned down in the West Bank by Palestinian terrorists that turned out to be members of the PA security forces."

Act of war. Imagine the outrage if Israeli soldiers had killed two Fatah men under the same circumstances; indeed, there is an appalling double standard, but it also underscores the fact that the forces of any legitimate state are expected to conduct themselves with order and discipline. (Then again, it also begs the question: were they following orders?) Is "Palestine," in any form, at any point in time, to be exempt from that expectation? "'Killers were from Fatah, one was Palestinian police'," by Yaakov Katz for the Jerusalem Post:

As first published in The Jerusalem Post on Sunday , one of the terrorists who killed two Israeli hikers on Friday near Hebron is a policeman in the Palestinian National Security Force, and the other is a known Fatah operative and a close associate of the Palestinian Intelligence Service, the Shin Bet (Israel Security Service) revealed Tuesday night.
According to details of the murder of off-duty soldiers and nature enthusiasts David Rubin and Ahikam Amihai, the gunmen, Ali Dandis, 24, and Amar Taha, 26, surrendered on the day of the attack to the Palestinian security forces in Hebron out of fear that they would be caught by the IDF. They also handed over the weapons they captured from the hikers.
THEY SURRENDERED TO ABBAS BECAUSE THEY KNOW HE'LL PROTECT THEM THE WAY ARAFAT DID.

YET BUSH IS PLEDGING ABBAS $500MILLION AND IS GOING TO MEET WITH HIM - HAARTETZ: Olmert, Bush and Abbas to hold three-way summit in J'lem
The leaders of Israel, the Palestinian Authority and the United States are expected to hold a joint meeting during President George W. Bush's visit here next week, in an effort to accelerate negotiations on the conflict's core issues - borders, refugees, and Jerusalem.

Bush will visit Israel and the Palestinian Authority next Wednesday and Thursday as part of a regional tour that will cover seven states in nine days.

The main focus of the president's talks will be the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and the Iranian nuclear program.
THE REAL CORE ISSUE IS THAT THE ARABS WANT TO DESTROY ISRAEL. NEGOTIATIONS WON'T CHANGE THAT.

  • BUSH AND CONDI AND THE EU ARE NUTS FOR PLEDGING ONE PENNY TO ABBAS AND FATAH.
  • WE'D MIGHT AS WELL BE SENDING MONEY TO HAMAS AND BAKING A CAKE FOR OSAMA.

WE NEED TO CRUSH OUR ENEMIES, NOT APPEASE THEM.

ANNAPOLIS IS DOA: "Abbas reiterates refusal to recognize Jewish state"

AP: Abbas reiterates refusal to recognize Jewish state
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas reiterated his refusal on Saturday to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, Israel Radio reported.

"Historically, there are two states - Israel and Palestinian. Israel has Jews and other people, and this we are ready to recognize, but nothing else," the radio quoted Abbas as saying shortly after he landed in Saudi Arabia after brief stops in Egypt and Jordan.
  • IF ABBAS CAN'T DO THIS, THEN THERE CAN BE NO DEAL. EVEN OLMERT WON'T MAKE A DEAL.

  • SO WHAT'S NEXT? ANNEXATION + EXPULSION? NO. GIVING THE WEST BANK TO JORDAN? NOT LIKELY.

  • I THINK THE NEXT AND NECESSARY STEPS ARE FOR ASSAD TO BE TOPPLED.
  • THEN NASRALLAH'S THUGS NEUTERED.
  • AND IRAN'S MULLAHCRACY ERASED.
PEACE THROUGH VICTORY.

GIVING LAND TO FATAH IS GIVING LAND TO HAMAS

Happy Labor Day:
At a summit Tuesday, Abbas and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert talked for the first time about the core issues that have scuttled decades of peace efforts - Palestinian refugees, final borders and the fate of Jerusalem. It was the first time Olmert and Abbas addressed the issues in depth and it represented an important building block for the November's peace conference. Before the meeting with Olmert, Abbas had warned the November conference would be a waste of time if the big three issues were glossed over. Bush proposed the conference this fall after bloody infighting split the Palestinian leadership into two rival governments. His administration sees the bitter internal split as an opportunity to push for a political settlement between Israel and the Palestinians.
Is there a single serious scholar or diplomat who thinks that a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians can be achieved without a reunification of the West Bank and Gaza? Certainly not Syria. Because if a three state solution isn't viable, then any Israeli concessions to Fatah will eventually be followed up by reunification between Fatah and Hamas. Which will happen on Hamas's terms, since Hamas is vastly more powerful. Which means that Israeli concessions to Fatah are de facto concessions to the genocidal terrorists in Hamas. And everybody knows it.
