GQ DISSES OBAMA

In any case, this dissing is a huge contrast from this November 2008 and even November 2010.

My cousins asked how they heck they could do that and WHY? They said people in CHINA say that Obama's "MAO'S MOST FAMOUS STUDENT".......My cousins were stunned. OBAMA'S CORE BELIEFS

Does he have any? From Richard Cohen in the Washington Post finally asks questions conservatives have been asking for approximately two years now:

Who is this guy? What are his core beliefs? The president himself is no help on this score. When it comes to his own image, he has a tin ear....

Mr. Cohen gets specific in his essay:

For instance, it's not clear that Obama is appalled by China's appalling human rights record. He seems hardly stirred about continued repression in Russia. He treats the Israelis and their various enemies as pests of equal moral standing. The president seems to stand foursquare for nothing much.

Even some not on right are learning that BHO is an empty suit.

Voter remorse will likely continue to increase. May it increase so much that the November 2010 election shoves every Democrat out the doors of Capitol Hill.

WEEKEND FUNNY

I love baseball! I come by that love of baseball naturally, I suppose. My father, born in 1911 and denizen of sandlot baseball, was actually offered a job as pitcher for the New York Yankees by a pro-ball scout way back when. Dad turned down the offer as he was such a homebody and the part-time caregiver for his own father.

Anyway, when I saw the video below over at Right Truth, I knew that I just had to post it:

BHO Caught In Another Narcissistic Moment

So who is compassionate? And who is so self-involved and arrogant that he is oblivious?...

BHO is all about himself.

BHO'S LACK OF EMPATHY

Today in the Washington Post, the day after BHO issued his most-strongly worded statement about the recent protests in Iran, Richard Cohen's column, "President Cool Plays It Right," has many words of praise for BHO's restraint with regard to those protests. Mr. Cohen, as usual, cites history as proof that BHO's restraint in his statements about the Iranian protests was the correct path for a President of the United States to take. In my view, many of the points in the article are well taken and deserve consideration.

Nonetheless, the next-to-last paragraph of the essay brings up an interesting point about BHO:

[I]f McCain, Graham and others have a valid complaint, it is not with Obama's words but with his music. The President of Cool seems emotionally disconnected from events in Tehran -- not unconcerned but not particularly upset, either. This is a quality that will cost Obama plenty in coming years. He can acknowledge your pain, but he cannot feel it.

BERG'S LAW SUIT DISMISSED

From this source:

Surrick ruled that Berg lacked standing to bring the case, saying any harm from an allegedly ineligible candidate was "too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters."

I don't know that I quibble with Berg's lacking standing. That may indeed be so.

But Obama's Constitutional qualifications don't matter? Is that what the judge is saying? If so, then this also follows:

In the “never-ending” drama that is known as the 2008 Presidential election, there is an appearance that the decision issued yesterday by the Honorable Judge R. Barclay Surrick in the matter of Berg v. Obama might have been SENT to the judge just a short time BEFORE he released the decision.

A fax copy of the decision from Judge Surrick was faxed to Mr. Berg from the Judge’s Chambers, pages 1-36, beginning at 18:09 October 24, 2008, and that is clearly notated by the receiving fax, starting at page 01/36. Page 36/36 is marked 18:16 October 24, 2008. What is interesting is not at the TOP of the fax pages; it is at the bottom.

At the bottom of each page is a notation from another FAX machine, indicating the date, page number and time. Unlike the pages faxed from Judge Surrick’s fax at 18:09, the “name” of the fax sender is blank, presumably so the sender’s identity could not be seen, and obviously with the sender unaware that the date and time would be stamped on it. The fax began from this mystery fax at 04:55P on October 24, 2008, and ended at 05:11P.

From all appearances, the clerk at Judge Surrick’s office merely took the fax off the machine, the Judge signed it, and it was faxed to Mr. Berg and the other attorneys involved in the case....

Now, sometimes the blogosphere is filled with rumor and unsubstantiated data presented as fact. Then again, sometimes the blogosphere does report the truth. Wasn't it the blogosphere which broke the story of all the PhotoShopped material used by the mainstream press during the Israel-Lebanon War of 2006?

As I said earlier in this post, my primary concern about the dismissal of the law suit is that the judge — a Clinton appointee, if I'm not mistaken — appears to have ruled that Constitutional requirements for the office of President of the United States can be ignored. Another manifestation of Obama-mania? You decide.

SOME GREENIE TROUBLE AT THE DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION

DENVER Throwing the "greenest national political convention to date" is easier said than done, as Democrats are learning the hard way.

Amid much fanfare, Democratic National Convention officials have for months promoted their commitment to an environmentally sustainable event.

They've hired a first-ever "director of greening," set an ambitious recycling goal of 85 percent, and banished plastic water bottles and plastic foam cups from the premises.

The biggest environmental disaster to befall the convention hit two weeks ago, when the Barack Obama campaign announced that the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee would make his acceptance speech at Invesco Field at Mile High stadium.

The decision to move to the stadium threw a Chernobyl-sized wrench into the sustainability plan. Switching the venue from the Pepsi Center, which seats fewer than 20,000, to Invesco, which holds 78,000, threatens to saddle the convention with the Shaquille O'Neal of carbon footprints.

According to the above-cited article, a blogger has done some numbers crunching:

The Invesco Field speech could, therefore, result in more pollution emissions than all four days and nights combined of the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., according to the blogger's estimates.

"Who knew Obama's ego would be so costly ... to the environment?" concluded [blogger] RiNOsaurusRex in an article titled "Obama Speech is Environmental Disaster."

The article in the Washington Times continues:

Things are simpler in St. Paul, where organizers of the Republican National Convention are taking a more laissez-faire approach to the event's environmental sustainability.

Greenies, take note! Obama and his monumental ego are damaging the environment! Not to mention all his hot air pouring carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

In a discussion about the recent cover of the New Yorker magazine, Brian Kilmeade, one anchor of Fox and Friends, said, "I've been on the Internet. It's a scary place."

Leftists might not reject Obama; after all, they embrace Antisemitism, anti-Americanism and socialism.

This follows reports that the Obama Campaign erased Wright from their website.

But they can't recall all of Obama's memoirs - which praised Wright and specifically quoted and praised one racist diatribe.

And they can't airbrush Obama's 20 year history with Wright.

HE IS THROUGH.

If he had one-half ounce of moral courage he would withdraw.

THAT CHRISTMAS SERMON BY WRIGHT: OBAMA CAUGHT IN ANOTHER LIE?

Well, actually it's the same lie; it's just that he's been caught in a whole new way.

When Obama dumped his long-time Pastor last week, he claimed that he'd never ever attended a service at Trinity in which he heard Wright say anything like what has so outraged so many Americans.

But - according to S&L - Wright gave that sermon on Christmas - and Obama was in Chicago. Did Obama fail to go to church on Christmas!?!?

Obama's claim that he never heard Wright ever preach anything like he did on Christmas is simply NOT believable.

• I THINK OBAMA MUST PROVE HE WASN'T THERE. OBAMA MUST ACCOUNT FOR HIS WHEREABOUTS DURING THAT SERMON.

• WITHOUT AN IRONCLAD ALIBI, OBAMA HAS BEEN PROVED A LIAR - AGAIN.

OBAMA - FORMER MESSIAH, CALLS WRIGHT HIS "FORMER PASTOR"

I guess that means Wright is also his FORMER mentor, and that Rezko is his former friend and former key-fundraiser, and former neighbor.

WHY DID OBAMA ANNOUNCE HIS CANDIDACY FROM SPRINGFIELD AND NOT CHICAGO?

The fact that Obama DUMPED Pastor Wright - who was scheduled to lead the invocation at his campaign announcement - the night before the announcement, (and still prayed with him just before the announcement), has been in the news of late.

Obama DUMPED his spiritual mentor because he feared what Wright might say and what his mere presence might alert the nation about: the fact that Obama had belonged to a RACIST church for 20 years.

The retelling of this episode brought to mind another aspect of Obama's announcement: the fact that it was held in SPRINGFIELD.

WHY DID OBAMA ANNOUNCE HIS CANDIDACY FROM SPRINGFIELD AND NOT CHICAGO?

Because Obama wanted to DISTANCE HIMSELF FROM THE CHICAGO MACHINE.

Sure, sure, sure: Obama was a state Senator for a number of years, and therefore worked seasonally in Springfield - that Illinois state capitol.

But he REPRESENTED CHICAGO.

Chicago was where he began his legal career and his "community organizing" work.

AND MET REZKO.

Rezko brought him into the machine - and the rest is history.

Rezko was already connected to the corrupt Chicago and Illinois machines - BEFORE Obama moved to Chicago.

Rezko contacted Obama while Obama was still in Harvard.

Rezko is the key figure who got Obama into the Chicago Machine, and "MADE" Obama.

Obama announced in Springfield to distance himself from these parts of his unsavory history.

You see: he's been a dissembler from the very very start.

OBAMA: liar, socialist; racist.

WHAT OBAMA'S HANDLING OF WRIGHT TELLS US ABOUT OBAMA:

AFTER TRYING TO FINESSE HIS RELATIONSHIP FOR THE LAST YEAR, OBAMA HAS FINALLY TOSSED WRIGHT OVERBOARD.
