The Iranian director’s new film is based on the Islamic version of the life of Jesus, depicting the man Christians believe to be the messiah and son of God as a tormented Judean prophet foretelling the coming of Muhammad, the founder of the Muslim faith.MORE FROM AFP:One might imagine such a tale may not screen well in the red states of America. The film, nearly 10 years in the making, draws on the Koran and the putative Gospel of Barnabas, considered by many Western scholars a medieval fable. The premise of "Jesus, the Spirit of God" is that Jesus was compassionate and performed miracles, but was not crucified or resurrected from the dead. The message implies that Christianity, a faith of 2 billion people and the core of much Western philosophy, is based on a falsehood.

[Talebzadeh] supports President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and believes 9/11 was partly a U.S. government conspiracy. "Someone masterminded something," he said. "And this is the cause for a lot of evil America is doing in this part of the world." …
But in Talebzadeh's movie, God saves Jesus, depicted as a fair-complexioned man with long hair and a beard, from crucifixion and takes him straight to heaven.IN THE ARAB/MUSLIM VERSION, GOD DOESN'T ALLOW HUMANS TO CRUCIFY JESUS, BUT TURNS JUDAS INTO JESUS SO HE GETS CRUCIFIED IN PLACE OF JUDAS.
"It is frankly said in the Koran that the person who was crucified was not Jesus" but Judas, one of the 12 Apostles and the one the Bible holds betrayed Jesus to the Romans, he said. In his film, it is Judas who is crucified.
- MUSLIMS BELIEVE THAT THE DIRECT DESCENDANTS OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB - WHO HAVE AN ADMITTEDLY IMPERFECT BUT UNQUESTIONABLY UNINTERRUPTED PRACTICE OF JUDAISM SINCE THE EXODUS - ARE INAUTHENTIC.
- AND MUSLIMS BELIEVE THAT THE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS, JAMES, PETER AND PAUL, THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH DIRECTLY DESCENDED FROM THEM, AND THE CHURCHES WHICH SPLIT OFF FROM IT, ARE INAUTHENTIC, TOO.
- MUSLIMS BELIEVE THEIR BASTARDIZED, CONFUSED, FACTUALLY/TEXTUALLY WRONG, BLATANTLY WRONG, AND INTERNALLY INCONSISTENT KORAN IS CORRECT AND THEIR VERSION OF THE JESUS STORY IS CORRECT - AND THEY BELIEVE THAT BY TELLING THIS VERSION TO CHRISTIANS THEY CAN WIN THEM AS CONVERTS.
- THIS IS NOT UNLIKE THEIR FEELING THAT "NAZIS WEREN'T SO BAD - THE HOLOCAUST A COCK-AND-BULL STORY INVENTED BY EUROPEANS TO GIVE THEM AN EXCUSE TO EXPORT JEWS", AND SIMULTANEOUSLY THAT "JEWS ARE THE REAL NAZIS" DESPITE THAT THESE MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE CONCEPTS ABSOLUTELY DEFY BOTH LOGIC AND INDISPUTABLE HISTORICAL FACTS.
THERE'S ONLY ONE EXPLANATION: ISLAM IS A FORM OF INDUCED MASS PSYCHOSIS.
CAN WE SAVE MUSLIMS AND ALL HUMANITY FROM THIS EVIL IDEOLOGY?

Clearly, this film is offensive to Christians.
I don't expect Christians to tantrum and go postal over it, though. That kind of behavior in the 21st Century is the venue of Moslems.
Saying that Judas died on the cross in the place of Jesus is nullifying the Gospel, and it is replacing the divine sacrifice with evil in the man of Judas the Betrayer.
From the Christian perspective, such twisting of the truth, such blasphemy could come from only one source; Satan.
Islam is the religion of Satan, in my opinion.
It is the opposite of Christianity in fundamental ways, because it believe
1) the strong should win over the weak
2) war is the way to God
3) enforced behavior is better than free choice (when in fact, the Christian God died specifically so that man COULD HAVE FREE CHOICE).
