Steve Emerson reported that Obama's staff has invited a CAIR representative named Hassan Shibly to the White House:

He accused the FBI of killing two men in cold blood in separate incidents. But Obama administration officials saw Hassan Shibly as a suitable representative of the American Muslim community to include at Monday’s White House meeting [1] on combating religious discrimination, the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) has learned.

Shibly is the chief executive director [2] for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Florida. Since 2008, FBI policy has barred outreach communication with CAIR officials due to documents seized by law enforcement which place CAIR and its founders [3] at the heart of a Hamas-support network at the time of CAIR’s creation. Eyewitness interviews recently obtained by the IPT [4] further detail CAIR’s ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Once again, we have some pretty awful and incompetent politicians in charge.

Hamas is planning suicide bombings against Israeli and Jewish targets similar to the deadly attacks launched against civilians during the Second Intifada, Walla! News reported on Friday, quoting a senior Palestinian Authority (PA) source.

Be on the lookout and be wary of your surroundings in an immediate area. Because they will try it. You can be sure of that. And it'll be truly repulsive.

KUWAITI AIRLINE CANCELS FLIGHT PLAN TO AVOID TRANSPORTING JEWS

The country that had problems with Iraq back in the early 90s has no moral compass either, and has made that clear with one of their airline businesses:

Kuwait hates Jews so much that its national airline has ditched its lucrative New York to London flight rather than allow Israelis on its planes.

Kuwait Airways told the federal Department of Transportation this week that it plans to discontinue its flights between the United States and the United Kingdom. It is did not say when the last flight on that route would be.

“On December 15th, Kuwait Airways informed the United States Department of Transportation that they will be eliminating service between JFK and London Heathrow,” said a department spokesperson.

The feds were considering pulling Kuwait Airways permit to fly in the United States because the airline was refusing to sell tickets to customers with Israeli passports. The airline has at least twice refused to let customers with Israeli passports buy tickets on flights from New York to London because Kuwait has a law that prohibits its citizens from doing business with Israeli customers.

Politicians who had pushed for the feds to nix the airline’s permit say they are glad the company decided to ditch the flight.

And so am I. Nobody with half a brain should give their money to a business run by anti-semites and racists. To think that the USA under Bush Senior would battle Iraq under Saddam's tyranny, but do nothing to reform the mentality in Kuwait, which is no better.

This tape by Im Tirtzu has been making headlines and enraging leftists who only wish to be angry for the sake of it, because it reveals left-wing activists who've been collaborating with the enemies of Israel:

A new video clip produced by a social movement calling for the outlawing of left-wing activists operating as “foreign agents” was released on Tuesday, the Israeli news site Walla reported.

The short film, created by Im Tirtzu, a self-described “extra-parliamentary movement that works to strengthen and advance the values of Zionism in Israel,” presents four activists in organizations, including B’Tselem and Breaking the Silence, and accuses them of abetting Palestinian terrorism.

The clip was produced as part of a broader campaign by Im Tirtzu to call into question the operations of foreign-funded Israeli NGOs that have what the group calls an anti-Israel agenda, as The Algemeiner reported on Monday.

The campaign clip is meant to support a legal bill to prevent funding for groups that aim to damage Israel. And as far as I'm concerned, no activists who work to destroy the country should be funded with taxpayers' money. And they shouldn't even be getting involved in politics either, because IMHO, it only hurts people's minds. If they're angry the video was ever produced, they deserve whatever they've gotten. Thin skinned deserve no mercy.

JIHAD WITH HAMMER AT A MODIIN CONSTRUCTION SITE, AND INFANT LOSES LEG FROM ANOTHER ATTACK IN JERUSALEM

A Muslim worker at a construction site in Modiin assaulted his boss with a hammer:

A Palestinian construction worker at a building site in Modi’in attacked his Jewish manager with a hammer on Tuesday afternoon, leaving him moderately wounded, Israel’s Army Radio reported.

The laborer then attacked another man, who turned out to be an Arab from a different construction site. The second victim was also moderately wounded.

The assailant was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning.

Earlier in the day, a stabbing attack was thwarted in Jerusalem, when police officers patrolling the center of the city noticed a young Palestinian woman behaving suspiciously, and found a screwdriver in her bag. During the initial investigation it emerged that she had intended to use the tool to commit an attack.

These incidents come on the heels of Monday’s car-ramming attack in Jerusalem, which wounded more than a dozen Israelis, among them a baby, who is reported to have lost his leg.

There's more on that horrific incident here, and you'll surely need a strong stomach for that one. Injuring an infant that badly is even worse than the hammer assault.

HAREDI GUN AND DRUG TRAFFICKING NETWORK BUSTED

The corrupt activities of Haredi extremists extend even to the illegal drug and guns trade, and involved even some Muslims from Hebron working illegally in Jerusalem:

A major drugs trade network run by haredi men and centered in the radical ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of Mea Shearim in Jerusalem and Ramat Beit Shemesh has been revealed and broken by an undercover police officer in the Jerusalem Police Force.

News of the drugs ring was revealed by the police on Tuesday.

The investigation involved many months of undercover work by the agent involved and led to the arrest by police, detectives and border police forces in the early hours of Tuesday morning of 45 suspects in Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, the central region and Judea and Samaria, who bought and sold drugs and weapons to the police agent who worked among them. Two minors between the ages of 15 and 17 were among those arrested.

Following information collected by the Jerusalem police about drug trade activity in Mea Shearim two years ago, it was decided to send an undercover police agent to pose as a haredi man and to assimilate within haredi society and penetrate the criminal underworld that had been established.

The investigative and intelligence unit of the Jerusalem Police then identified an appropriate religious individual to carry out the role, and after several months of training, including guidance in criminal slang, concepts with the criminal world, required behavior, body language, and speech, the agent began work in Mea Shearim.

From what he experienced, the agent said he quickly discerned that there was “a Mea Shearim of the day and a Mea Shearim of the night,” and that with nightfall came an active trade in drugs in the many kiosks and narrow alleys of the famously austere and pious haredi neighborhood.

The agent successfully integrated into the haredi society in Mea Shearim, and under police supervision, began to buy different types of drugs, including marijuana, hashish, ecstasy, and Cocaine.

He was also able to buy a stolen vehicle along with various firearms from two Arabs working in the neighborhood from Hebron working in Jerusalem without permits.

Now what are the chances those twosome were fully welcome in the neighborhood by the very extremists who were already plying the same trade? I think it's very likely they were. Extremists like Neturei Karta go hand in glove with jihadists.

If this report is correct, the police agent was a Haredi himself:

The agent, himself a member of a Haredi family from Jerusalem, was recruited to the Jerusalem District’s undercover agent unit two years ago. He studied in a Jerusalem yeshiva.

According to police, he infiltrated the Mea Shearim community, and after gaining the trust of felons there procured drugs, including marijuana, hashish, hydrocodone, ecstasy and cocaine. He also managed to buy a stolen car from the criminal network.

Besides the Haredi network, two Palestinians who worked illegally in businesses in the neighborhood offered to sell him unregistered guns.

The agent was then transferred to Ramat Beit Shemesh, an ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of Beit Shemesh, where he began to fear the traffickers he was following would discover he was working for the police.

In Ramat Beit Shemesh he succeeded in procuring even larger amounts of drugs, including “dozens of kilograms” of controlled substances at a cost of hundreds of thousands of shekels, police said. He also bought a stolen car, two Karl Gustav machine guns, an M-16 assault rifle likely stolen from an IDF base, and ammunition for the firearms.

[...] He described his work there as “a highly complex operation, in territories which are suspicious of police.” Many of the residents of the small Jerusalem neighborhood are anti-Zionist and avoid dealings with official Israeli institutions, including the police.

Don't be surprised if plenty of those weapons were sold to jihadists. This is a most alarming discovery, proving that isolationist enclaves like Mea Shearim and Ramat Beit Shemesh are dangerous places. The police agent did the right thing to help put a stop to those vile criminals.

FEDERAL AUTHORITIES SHUT DOWN INVESTIGATION THAT COULD'VE PREVENTED SAN BERNARDINO BLOODBATH

A former DHS official told Fox News how the authorities closed down a serious investigation he was working on that could've prevented bloodshed (Hat tip: Liberty Unyielding):

A former Department of Homeland Security agent says that an investigation he was conducting into a fundamentalist Islamic group operating in the U.S. may have helped stop San Bernardino jihadi Syed Farook had the government not shut down his probe.

During an interview with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly on Thursday, Philip Haney said that in 2012 as an agent with U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s National Targeting Center, he opened an investigation into a Sunni Islamic group called, Tablighi Jamaat, a subset of the fundamentalist Deobandi movement.

But Haney said that just a year into the investigation it was shut down by the State Department and the Homeland Security Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.

The reason the investigation was quashed? Because the federal government did not want to profile Islamic groups, Haney told Kelly.

IF ISRAEL'S GOT SHARIA COURTS, THAT'S BAD, BUT SO IS THE INDIRECT HAREDI SUPPORT FOR HOW THEY'RE MANAGED

According to this JTA article, there's sharia courts running in Israel. But no less troubling is the possible reasons why the Haredi parties opted to block appointment of female judges to these particular courts:

Haredi Orthodox government ministers are blocking a bill that would allow female appointees to state Islamic law courts in Israel.

The bill — proposed by Arab Knesset members from the Zionist Union, Meretz and the Joint List — would allow at least one woman to serve among the 11 judges on the state sharia courts, according to Haaretz. Health Minister Yaakov Litzman, who heads the Ashkenazi haredi Orthodox United Torah Judaism party, fears the law will create a precedent to allow female judges on state Jewish law courts, which United Torah Judaism opposes.

It's galling that sharia courts are allowed here - presumably just because there's Judaist courts - but depending on your POV, what's disturbing is the reasons why UTJ's ministers opposed it - because they loathe progress for women in their community.

Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked initially supported the bill, but the government coalition will oppose it per Litzman’s wishes. Three members of the Joint List, the Knesset’s Arab party, also oppose the bill. Female judges serve on sharia courts elsewhere in the Muslim world, including in the Palestinian Authority.

“As opposed to the support we received from the ministers, headed by Ayelet Shaked, the religious MKs vetoed it and said that according to the coalition agreement they have a veto on religious issues,” Meretz lawmaker Issawi Freij, one of the bill’s sponsors, told Haaretz. “They’re also using their veto for Muslim affairs, for fear that tomorrow it will serve as a precedent in the rabbinical courts.”

I advise against taking the above about female judges in sharia courts outside Israel at face value. If they're not allowed to serve in Saudi Arabia and Iran, for example, then it's doubtful they're allowed under the PLO either. And for now, the Haredi parties are setting a terrible example of opposing women in authoritative positions because of their backwards viewpoint that isn't all that different from the Muslim world, or other regimes with similar mindsets.

QATARI IN TEXAS KEPT SLAVES AT HIS HOUSE

Another case of human slavery run by a Muslim turned up in the USA:

A military official from Qatar and his wife, accused by prosecutors of keeping two servants in slave-like conditions while they lived in Texas, face deportation after pleading guilty in federal court on Friday to lesser charges.

Hassan Al-Homoud, 46, pleaded guilty to visa fraud and his wife, Zainab Al-Hosani, 39, a citizen of the United Arab Emirates, pleaded guilty to knowing that a felony was taking place but failing to report it, the US Attorney's Office for the Western District of Texas said.

They will be sentenced in February and likely deported at that time, a federal judge said, adding he would have handed down a harsher sentence but could not since the servants refused to testify against the couple.

The two, who remain free on bond, could have faced up to 20 years in prison on charges of engaging in forced labor.

Al-Homoud was undergoing military training at Camp Bullis, an Army post near San Antonio. He and his wife brought the servants with them from Bangladesh and Indonesia.

Prosecutors said the couple kept the servants in primitive conditions, withholding wages and providing them with only limited amounts of food. They also took their passports to ensure they would not try to escape.

"I want the parties to know that this court was prepared to try this case but it made it difficult when the two victims did not want to go forward," US District Judge Orlando Garcia, visibly upset, said in court.

As part of the plea agreement, Garcia is expected to order the couple to pay each of the servants $60,000 and to leave the United States and never come back.

Gerald Goldstein, the couple's defense lawyer, assured the judge they would leave the country within hours of sentencing.

It's regrettable they're making a plea bargain, and that the slaves may have been too scared to testify. The couple should both rot in prison, but here, they're being allowed to leave the USA provided they remain exiled.

SIMPLE PROOF THAT TRUMP IS UNTRUSTWORTHY, AND DOESN'T DESERVE SUPPORT

Trump has said he might break his pledge not to run as an independent.

Trump is thus admitting his pledges count for shit.

On top of this, is the well known fact that he has been divorced twice; which means he twice broke his promise to the person he was closest to.

IF TRUMP CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO KEEP HIS MARRIAGE VOWS OR HIS PUBLICLY MADE PROMISE NOT TO RUN AS AN INDEPENDENT, THEN HE CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO KEEP ANY OF HIS CAMPAIGN PROMISES.

Given these facts, anyone who votes for Trump is throwing away their vote on a person who would be a wild card as president - one who recently supported Hillary.

I won't throw away my vote.

HOW TO DEFEAT ISIS: just keep wiping until you don't see anything

And I do not mean by using toilet paper. I mean using every kinetic tool that our military has in its arsenal.

If we had a patriot in the oval office, then this would have been ordered after San Bernardino.

Ted Cruz would do this as potus. He has said so. He would make the sand in the ISIS Caliphate glow.

I have no confidence in his leadership because he is unprincipled, and that's why I believe he would make a terrible presidential candidate and a terrible president.

Ted Cruz is principled, and his principles are those I believe in and I think these principles will make America great again, and safe.

I hope Iowans look past Trump's braggadocio, bravura and BS, and Trump's pandering, and choose the deliberative and principled conservative: Cruz.

WHAT FRANCE IS LIKE WEEKS AFTER THEIR OWN 9-11

The Times of Israel/AFP tells what Paris and France are like now, in the weeks after the tragedy when 130 people were murdered by ISIS supporters within the country:

Bags are searched during mundane grocery shopping, heavily armed police patrol the streets and bomb disposal teams are frequently called to examine “suspect packages” — four weeks on, the jihadist attacks have left Paris a changed city.

This is France at “war” against the Islamic State jihadist group, as a visibly shaken President Francois Hollande said soon after cafe terraces and a concert hall became scenes of carnage on November 13.

The fading photographs tucked in among the shrines of candles and flowers show just how many youthful faces were among the 130 victims that lost their lives while enjoying a night out.

Outside the Bataclan music venue on Friday, workmen scooped up piles of wilted flowers, as even the deep mourning over the attacks must eventually end.

The tourist trade is recovering in the world’s most visited city, but the attacks have left their mark on its residents in a multitude of ways.

“I really pay attention now to people who get on the train with bags,” said Pierre Breard, 24, who works for a start-up in Paris.

“I look at people’s stomachs” for signs they are wearing explosive vests, admitted Aurelie Martin, a 24-year-old primary school teacher. On the night of the attacks, she was forced to file out of the Stade de France with her hands in the air as police frantically searched for more suicide bombers after three blew themselves up outside while France played Germany in a football match.

It's clear that France will not be the same again for a long time.

This article, however, has the gall to take what the father of one of the terrorists said at face value:

When investigators revealed the identity of the third Bataclan attacker on Wednesday, the father of 23-year-old Foued Mohamed-Aggad from Strasbourg did not mince his words.

“I would have killed him myself beforehand,” his father, Said Mohamed-Aggad, told AFP.

I'm not fooled by what the man says. If he'd really wanted his son to lead an honest, non-violent life, he would never have raised him on Islam or allowed any imams to do the raising for him. The AFP flubbed on that one, which is just apologia and refusal to recognize what's wrong with Islamofascism.

ADMIRING THE FOUNDING FATHERS VERSUS EMULATING MOHAMED, PBUH

American patriots admire the Founding Fathers. The founders wrote the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and created the first real democratic constitutional republic in all human history. The founders had differences, but shared an overwhelming desire for national self-determination based on cooperation, not coercion, and a desire for limited government.

Patriots who admire Washington and Jefferson and Adams and Henry and Madison and Hamilton do NOT emulate them or seek to emulate them, nor are the Founders held up as saints, prophets, or perfect men in any way.

They are admired and thanked for their good efforts while their character deficits are generally set-aside. Washington and Jefferson were slave-owners, for example, an attribute of these two giants which no patriot admires - or seeks to emulate.

The fact that a billion Muslims admire Mohamed, PBUH is not major a problem for non-muslims.

What is a problem for non-muslims are the many thousands, (or many hundreds of thousands, or perhaps millions of muslims), who seek to emulate their prophet - who seek spread islam by the sword... the sword emblazoned on the flag of the Saudi Kingdom.

This is what motivates the jihado-terrorists. Muslims who emulate their prophet cannot logically be called distorters of islam: if Mohamed PBUH practiced islam using the sword, and since he originated islam, then the using the sword to spread islam and its supremacist teachings cannot be called unislamic.

The chief of ISIS and the Caliphate - al Baghdadi- is a college educated islamic scholar.

If muslims were to teach in all mosques and madrassas and colleges and universities that emulating their prophet was no longer proper, then they might crush jihado-terrorism.

Muslims might be able to do this if they adopted the same attitude toward their prophet as American patriots have toward the founding Fathers - and Jews have toward their Patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac an Jacob. None are considered perfect men whose ancient lives should be now emulated in every way, in our modern age.

If muslims could ever accept - and teach - that what Mohamed, PBUH did then was right for his times, but not right for our times - and that islam's supremacist teachings cannot be spread by coercion now, (even though it has been for the last 1400 years), then I think a reform of islam is possible.

Muslims would have to interpret their holy books prescriptive teachings in ways which are adapted to the contemporary world. They would have to teach that the teachings about their prophet's wars are descriptive, not prescriptive.

This would mean that they would have to teach that Mohamed, PBUH was not perfect for all time, perhaps - for muslims - just in his time.

This should be possible in any God-centered monotheistic faith. For example, Roman Catholics don't worship the Pope, nor do Catholics emulate him - (most marry, for example), though many admire him.

In the Judeo-Christian world, only G-d is perfect; no man is - not even our prophets.

So it could be with Mohamed, PBUH: Muslims could admire and  revere him without believing that his life must be emulated or that the most pious muslims are those that live and act as he did.

In a way, this would amount to the de-mohamedanization of islam, and it is not likely to occur, but if it could occur then the jihado-terrorists might be marginalized theologically.

AND ANOTHER THING: one might also argue that since Mohamed, PBUH had neither guns, or bombs, or jets, that jihado-terrorists who use these and other modern weapons, and cellphones, and cars, SUV's, tanks, videos etc - are not emulating him at all.

If I were to see a strong movement within islam - coming from the House of Saud and Al-Azhar University and the Supreme Council of Iran - calling for muslims to halt their emulations of their prophet, then I might start to believe that islam can co-exist with non-muslims.

Short of that, I see no way for humanity to avoid an all out war - and I shudder to think what it will take for it to breakout on all fronts, with no holds barred.... an eventuality we seem to be headed for... because I seriously doubt that the Salafists or Wahhabists or Q'tubists will ever be reformed.... and unless they are soon eradicated, and because  their power seems to be growing - and their weapons seem to be getting ever more terrifying - we seem to be headed for the most violent global conflagration of all time...

LIBERAL FEMINIST SUPPORTS DEPORTING TERRORISTS FROM THE USA

Breitbart interviewed a liberal feminist named Joy Brighton who takes the stance that Islam is dangerous, and believes that families of jihadists should be deported from America:

“There’s a few things we should be doing to protect our country,” Brighton said. “When a terrorist kills someone in this country or terrorizes someone in this country, the entire extended family must be deported. That way it is very humane—you just get everybody and you put them on a plane. It’s only the family members, and extended family members, who want to stay in this country who can police their own family members.”

Brighton specifically noted, too, that the United States has yet to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.

If the family members refused to do anything to keep their offspring from engaging in any kind of terrorist activity, then they are equally guilty, and deserve to be exiled. Here's one liberal who's making sense. Similarly, Donald Trump's own call for a ban on Muslim immigration to the US is an idea that's clearly resonating with many people. And that's because they care about safety. Something the establishment obviously has to consider.

SADLY, IN THIS GLOBAL WAR, WE HAVE NEITHER AN FDR OR A CHURCHILL... YET...

More than 70 years have passed since the Tehran Conference. But today, in Russia, the idea of "invincible unity" is being revived and repackaged for a new war: the war on terror.
"We understand that international terrorism is an international phenomenon and to combat it we need an international coalition," Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of external church relations for the Russian Orthodox Church, tells me. 

"During the Second World War, on the one side, there were countries which were very different as far as their political systems were concerned. And yet they were able to put aside these differences in order to combat the plague of fascism. What we need now is the same: to put aside the differences to combat together international terrorism."
... In recent weeks, so many of the Russian politicians, officials and religious figures with whom I've spoken have promoted the same message: that Russia and the West should forge a World War Two-style alliance against so-called Islamic State.
President Putin has put forward the same idea. Speaking at the United Nations in September, he called for a "genuinely broad alliance against terrorism, just like the one against Hitler".
...  I [Rosenberg] cannot help thinking that if Roosevelt and Churchill could find a way to work with Stalin, Obama and Cameron can find a way to work with Putin.
Perhaps this will only happen, though, when all sides conclude the threat to their nation is so great and imminent that the only way to win the war on terror is to fight together.
