Siege of NYC synagogue by pro-jihadists calling for murder makes clear the Mamdani era has just begun

A crowd of pro-jihad monsters in NYC besieged a synagogue, making calls for murder, almost 2 months before Zohran Mamdani begins his undeserved career as the Big Apple's first Muslim mayor:
Hundreds of pro-Palestinian activists besieged Manhattan’s prestigious Park East Synagogue on Wednesday night, chanting, “Globalize the intifada,” “Death to the IDF,” and “take another settler out,” in what critics warned is “just the beginning” of a radicalized climate under socialist Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani.

The nighttime demonstration targeted an event about Jewish immigration to Israel hosted inside the synagogue, which has stood on East 67th Street since 1890 and also houses a prominent Jewish day school. Organizers from Pal-Awda New York and New Jersey, Within Our Lifetime, Jewish Voice for Peace New York, and allied anti-Israel groups promoted the rally as “No settlers on stolen land” and a “protest to stop the settler recruiting fair,” branding the program as a “settler recruiting” event.

Radical pro-Palestinian activists pounded drums and unleashed a barrage of incendiary chants, including “Resistance is glorious,” “Intifada revolution,” “No peace on stolen land,” “We don’t want no two states, we want forty-eight,” and “From New York to Gaza, globalize the intifada,” while signs declared, “Zionism is a death cult” and “No settlers on stolen land.” [...]

Cantor Benny Rogosnitzky, who serves as both the cantor of Park East Synagogue and the director of the Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School, described the scene as “very disturbing,” noting that demonstrators shouted phrases such as “Kill the Jews,” “Destroy Israel,” and “No Jews in America.” He said many members of the community were “very, very concerned” by the language and by the decision to target a synagogue, according to the New York Post. [...]

Rabbi Elchanan Poupko, who first posted video of the protest, wrote that “antisemites showed up outside Park East Synagogue and are chanting for intifada,” stressing that the synagogue’s senior rabbi is a Holocaust survivor who vividly remembers Kristallnacht and now sees “the same human material” outside his own shul. He insisted that “this is not about Gaza and has never been about Gaza” and that the demonstration “is an attack on the Jewish people.”
That any authorities in NYC would allow such a demonstration to go ahead when chants of murder are present is no better than any UK authorities who allowed similar language to be used by Islamofascists who were demonstrating against the Danish Mohammed cartoons 2 decades ago. Even before this particular case, there was a most disturbing incident a few months ago where the NYPD welcomed policewomen wearing hijabs, as seen in the following video clip: This is a disgrace to the uniform, and should rightly have people wondering what kind of people are running the outfit in the Big Apple. It's bound to get much worse under Mamdani, of course, and leftist New Yorkers who're okay with this are also responsible for delivering a blow to 9-11 Families by extension.

Update: here's more about the topic from Daniel Greenfield.

TEA PARTY MEMBERS: WATCH YOUR BACKS

According to this post at The Texas Fred Blog:
Today I received a plea for help from the Tawakoni Area TEA Party. They have a Mayor that is out of control and hates the TEA Party too. He has fired 2 long time officers for no other apparent reason than the simple fact that they belong to the local TEA Party chapter.

West Tawakoni is a small town in East Texas...
Yes, the story is anecdotal at this point.

MORE PHOTOS FROM THE SITE OF THE ISLAMIC WAKF'S VANDALISM AT TEMPLE MOUNT

Some extra info on the Wakf's destruction at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

Here's an article for starters from Breitbart (via One Jerusalem) that tells some starting details, and here's some photos of when a policeman stood in the way of a tractor they were using, a very bold move.

The part showing what appears to be wreckage is most disturbing. And that's why, here's an important petition to sign.

The Wakf cannot be allowed to have their way with Jewish history.

It's got to be stopped now.

Testing

Did you know that your soap can test positive for contraband by some field drug test kits?
Don Bolles, drummer for the legendary punk band the Germs, was going to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting with his girlfriend, 21-year-old Cat Scandal, after picking her up for "a day off" from drug rehab, on April 4, when they were pulled over in a traffic stop by Newport Beach Police. During a search of the vehicle -- to which Bolles unwisely consented -- police found a bottle of peppermint Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap. According to a police field drug test, the soap contained GHB (gamma hydroxyl butyrate), a so-called date rape drug illegal under state and federal law.
It turns out that the police gave Bolles a tour of Orange County jails before releasing him after 3 1/2 days in the system. A better test verified no drugs in the soap. All charges were dropped.
The field test was performed by a kit manufactured by Armor Forensics/ODV called the Narcopouch 928. Armor Forensics/ODV did not respond to calls from the Chronicle about the false positives reported by its product. One man at ODV who refused to identify himself said only that he could not comment because of possible legal action.

The Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association did not respond to Chronicle queries about accuracy standards within the industry. In the group's defense, however, it should be noted that they were all out of the office this week attending a national drug testing industry convention.

The Newport Beach Police Department did not respond to calls from the Chronicle about the accuracy of the GHB field test.
There are no standards for field drug tests.
"The testing of substances for drugs is basically unregulated," Kevin Zeese, a prominent long-time drug reformer and political activist with expertise in the intersection of law and drug testing. "If it were the feds, the DEA would set the standards, but at the local level, it's state and local police who make the decisions. This all takes place within the criminal justice system; there is no regulation by the FDA or any other agency apart from law enforcement agencies," he told the Chronicle.

"There have been lots of cases of these sorts of tests not being accurate and causing problems, so this is not surprising," said Zeese. "Now, the local police are going to have to do something to correct their standards so they don't falsely accuse people. If they don't, this kind of thing ends up being regulated by the courts."
It is not just Dr. Bronners.
At least four other soaps have resulted in false positives in the Narcopouch 928 GHB test kit, including Neutrogena and Tom's of Maine. "We are testing more products and videotaping those tests. Products from Johnson & Johnson and Palmolive are testing positive, so we'll go to the Cosmetics, Toiletries and Fragrances Association, show them these products are testing positive, and then work through them to explore options for addressing the situation with these field drug test kits. Ideally, we could force a product recall, but we need at least a disclaimer if this product is going to continue to be sold. If they don't know soap tests positive, what else don't they know?"
Evidently the IVth Amendment no longer means what it used to. A series of excessive searches for contraband caused the founders to enact the prohibition against unreasonable searches. Why does that sound familiar? We now have a drug war contraband exception to the IVth Amendment.
