IF KEYNESIAN POLICIES LIKE DEFICIT SPENDING WERE STIMULATIVE, THEN GREECE AND PUERTO RICO WOULD BE GREAT ECONOMIES.
THE FACT THAT GREECE AND PUERTO RICO ARE IN THE CRAPPER PROVE KEYNESIAN POLICIES DO NOT STIMULATE GROWTH AT ALL.
IN FACT, THEY ARE THE ROAD TO SERFDOM.\
I HOPE GREEKS WITHDRAW FROM THE EURO AN THE EU AND REGAIN CONTROL OVER THEIR NATIONAL DESTINY.
I HOPE THEY USE THIS CONTROL TO BECOME MORE PROSPEROUS.
BUT THE CHOICE SHOULD BE THEIRS TO MAKE.
THEY CAN BECOME ANOTHER CHILE, OR ANOTHER VENEZUELA; ANOTHER SOUTH KOREA OR ANOTHER NORTH KOREA.
IF THEY CHOOSE ECONOMIC LIBERTY AND SMALL GOVERNMENT AND FREE ENTERPRISE, THEN THEY WILL GROW.
IF THEY CHOOSE THE FALSE COMFORT OF SOCIALISM AND STATISM, THEN THEY WILL DESCEND DEEPER INTO POVERTY AND MAYHEM....
THE CHOICE SHOULD BE THEIRS.
BUT HAVING THE CHOICE DOESN'T GUARANTEE THEY WILL MAKE THE RIGHT ONE.
THE LEFT IS STRONG THERE, AN THEY MIGHT CHOOSE TO GO FURTHER DOWN THE ROAD TO SERFDOM - ALBEIT A ROAD THEY PAVE WITH THEIR OWN CURRENCY...
