SO-CALLED PEACE TALKS ARE DOOMED TO FAILURE NO MATTER THE OUTCOME

The UK Telegraph has acknowledged the obvious, at least in some ways:

There are any number of reasons to think the latest round of peace talks between Israelis and Palestinians is dead in the water before it has even started. In Israel, the government of Benjamin Netanyahu is filled with hawks for whom making concessions to their long-standing enemies is anathema. The Palestinians, meanwhile, are divided between the moderate leadership of President Mahmoud Abbas and the radical Hamas movement, which controls the Gaza Strip and does not even recognise the Jewish state’s right to exist.

Precisely how John Kerry, the US Secretary of State, intends to resolve these seemingly irreconcilable difficulties and persuade the parties to sign a peace agreement remains one of the great enigmas of modern diplomacy.

Granted, they do admit that this is only an experiment bound for failure. But the downside is their false claim that Abbas is a "moderate". He most definitely is not. He and his MSM apologists just try to make it look that way.
