It's more than 11 years. since 9/11 - and the West is still bogged down - WW4 appears to be on track to be a 100 Years War... or at least a 30 Years War. The strategists must think that a low intensity stalemate = a win.
As far as the economy goes, our elected leaders seem to believe the we all should "hurry up and wait". Where is our leadership today? They seem to be Champions of Indecisiveness. Where are our men - and women - of action? The stagnation in the GWOT, and the stagflation in the World Economy are part and parcel of the same malaise: THE INABILITY OF OUR LEADERS TO ACCEPT THE BURDENS OF RESPONSIBILITY.

The Banking System doesn't need fixing - it's the Bankers.
Guns are not the problem - it's criminals and deranged people with guns that are the problem.
Utopians who believe everything will be dandy if we could just get the laws and regulations adjusted correctly need to accept the fact that we will never be perfect and then get out of the way and let the people get to work.
