ENVY - AND NOT GREED - IS THE REAL PROBLEM

The Left argues that GREED is the problem: greedy rich people; greedy corporations.

This is nonsense.

People get rich and corporations grow by selling something to people that they WANT to buy, and which makes them happy once they bought it. Nobody holds a gun to the head of a buyer. And the seller isn't being greedy by asking for and getting "as much as the traffic will bear" - that's what a free-marketplace IS!

People like Steve Jobs got rich - and made others rich along the way - by producing things people wanted and were willing to pay for.

This is why the things that are bought and sold are called "GOODS" - they make people feel good. The buyer gets the goods, the seller gets the money - and hopefully a profit.

Corporations do this and big corporations do this on a big scale. Including corporations that are public and are owned by pension funds and unions and, well - your neighbors, maybe you, too.

They live and die in a fluctuating market, sometimes selling at a profit and sometimes not. After all, capitalism is not a PROFIT SYSTEM; it's a PROFIT AND LOSS SYSTEM.

Most of the billionaires in the USA today made their billions themselves in the last few decades. FROM NOTHING. And as they became wealthy, they created thousands of jobs and made thousands of millionaires - and enriched our lives with their products and their services.

• FACT: 14 OF THE TOP 20 BILLIONAIRES MADE THEIR ALL THEIR BILLIONS IN THE LAST 20 YEARS. MOST, FROM NOTHING.

What makes these billionaires and millionaires special isn't their "GREED" - that's not what motivated them or enabled them to do what they did.

Not Steve Jobs, or the GOOGLE guys, or Gates, or Ellison, or Musk, or Bezos, or Branson - not Buffett, not any of them. They had a vision for a new NEED in the marketplace or a new way to satisfy a demand in the marketplace.

And they didn't COVET or STEAL to make their billions; they EARNED it. Taking risks with their own money - or money they borrowed and paid back AND THEN SOME, and earning it with their own courage and sweat.

These billionaires and millionaires are to ADMIRED and not vilified.

What deserves to be vilified is the COVETOUSNESS and ENVY of the pathetic dupes and morons on the Left who have taken to the streets in the "OCCUPY WALL STREET" circus.

The folks who deserve to be attacked are the covetous and envious folks who falsely claim to be the "99%" who haven't done better over the last "lost decade" - and who blame their failure on those who have done well:

• The ENVIOUS, stupid, self-described "anarchists" who are anything but anarchists because what they want is a powerful state to take away the private property of those who earned it so the government can give it to them.

• The ENVIOUS leftist idiots and dupes who see corporations as the "bullies" - even though corporations don't force anyone to buy any of their products or use any of their services. The occupiers are the real bullies: they think their mob pressure will allow them to get what they want.

• The ENVIOUS leftist morons and dupes who see the government, the STATE as their friend even though it is the only through government protection and intervention that a monopoly can exist. And only monopolies can be bullies in a marketplace.

• The ENVIOUS "progressive" fools who want bigger government even though the real thing wasting their taxpayer dollars and slowing the economic growth we need to create jobs are the career politicians and their lobbyist pals who control so much of the government.

While South Koreans here and in South Korea - for example - are mastering math and science and engineering and programming, these lazy ENVIOUS spoiled leftist punks have been studying leftist feminist marxist postmodernist LGBTQIA bullshit that makes them as useful to the marketplace as teats on a bull.

And then these punks blame the successful people for their idiocy, and for their failure to find decent jobs.

What they should be protesting and who they should be blaming are the leftist media and the leftist academy and the leftist faculties that duped them into studying bullshit and into expecting that the state would take care of them.

What they should be protesting and who they should be blaming are the liberal politicians who did favors for FANNIE MAE and FREDDIE MAC and thereby helped create the housing bubble that - when it burst, as all bubbles eventually do - nearly destroyed our private financial system.

THAT'S RIGHT: Without BIG GOVERNMENT intervening in the housing sector and banking sector there would have been no bubble and we would NOT have an economic or fiscal crisis at all right now.

And they should be rolling up their sleeves and going to work - maybe at a jobs they hate for crappy pay.

For - if they do - then they will soon earn money - and self-respect.

And as they do they will also EARN self-reliance and develop a natural attachment to the things they've purchased with the money they earned by the sweat of their brow.

Then, maybe these ENVIOUS leftist punks and dupes will learn what it means to feel like you deserve to keep the fruits of your own labor.

THIS IS NO SMALL MATTER.

Early on the Republican president who saved this nation, Abe Lincoln, decided that ALL slavery was immoral because it denied some people the fruits of their own labors.

It makes no difference if we have become slaves because we are Slavs, or Jews or women or blacks. What makes one a slave is this very thing: being denied the fruits of your labors.

Corporations are NOT doing that. In a free market with competition, they never can - not without BIG GOVERNMENT.

The real threat to personal liberty and private property is the state, is the government.

That's why the TEA Party rebellion is the truly revolutionary movement in this country and always will be.

And that's why the morons at these OCCUPY WALL STREET rallies are really REACTIONARY thugs being pimped by the unions that represent government workers who need BIG GOVERNMENT to protect THEIR monopolies; the fact is these morons and dupes are merely doing the bidding of the career politicians and the lobbyists and union thugs who control so much of the state.

(YES: the NEA and UFT and AFSCME are MONOPOLIES and this is why FDR OPPOSED government unionization!)

REMEMBER: the unions supporting these rallies only represent about 13% of the labor force. NOT 99%.

The leftist dupes and thugs at these days-on-end rallies are the minority now just as they were in October 1917.

They will not win here. They will not win now. They will not win ever again.

Not if we can help it - and we can.

We can defeat the envious left. We will.
